((hi. so, i'm new here. so please tell me if i do anything wrong here))
The small brown wolfess padded into the cave, freezing when she looked up and saw a group of packmates gathered around. Was there a meeting going on here? Great. Quickfyre simply continued into the cave, walking slower than before and as quietly as she could. She kept to the shadows of the den, not wanting to disturb the meeting. Then she heard the subject of the conversation. Why did she always seem to be the last one to find out about these things? Missing was missing? She didn't know the female that well, but packmates were family to her and she couldn't stand that the she-wolf had been kidnapped.
Quickfyre, contrary to her normal self, shyly approached the group, ears down. "Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked quietly. The neophyte could feel the determination starting to boil inside her. She hoped that no one would simply brush her off or tell her 'no'. She stayed standing, ears still down, as she waited for an answer or to be ignored.

Luma blinked around, slightly taken aback by the appearence of two more wolves. She smile good-naturedly at them, but it was a sad upturn of her features, and it did not touch the sorrowful gaze of her eyes. She nodded to Knot, signaling that he could settle with them, but glanced at Quickfyre, torn. The she-wolf was only a neophyte, and they didn't yet know what they were dealing with. I don't want to get her too involved, but at the same time, she shouldn't just be turned away. She thought for a moment, then spoke. "You can plan with us, so long as you understand it's not likely you'll go with when we actually pursue the enemy. You can scout with us, too....but you'll be with one of us at all times, all right?" She offered, her tone gentle, but firm in her resolve. There's no way I can let her go in there in the end, though. Missing's only a neophyte, too...so were the two Yozorans that were taken, and the Siverian was a brand new warrior. They're preying on the young. "Okay...so how about we go to the loner terras and scout? That's where the scent trails left off. We can break into smaller groups once we get there. We'll have to be careful and not go too far -- we don't know those lands, and they're far outside of our own." She rose to her paws, meeting each wolf's gaze with her own. "Are we ready?" I hope I'm doing the right thing....what if one of us gets hurt? Or worse, taken?

She agreed with what Luma said entirely. Her paws held her up again as she readied herself to follow. "Ready," she barked back looking at Luma. Hopefully every wolf would be fine by the end of the scouting. What if one of them got taken too though? From what she had heard, Blood Mist's were evil, menacing, wolves. Featherswift took at step backwards, toward Gade, then looked at him in the eyes. A little fear was showing on Gade by his smell. Other wolves could probably smell her fear too, even if it was just a little. She couldn't let it stop her though so she waited for Luma to leave the way.

Quickfyre nodded at Luma's response. She wasn't completely pleased, but she understood why. Although she didn't know Missing that well, she did know that the female was a neophyte as well. "Ready to go." she replied. She looked around at the other wolves. She wondered who she would stay with during the scouting.

Knot grinned for a second, then allowed it to fade as he considered the loner lands and the missing wolves.
"Thanks for allowing me to join..." His eyes blinked at Luma. "Yeah, I'm ready to go."

Luma rose, eyes rising to the murky skyline in the east. Tonight, the packs would meet at the Moonless Meeting....tonight, this group of wolves would convene in unfamiliar terra. Well, I suppose we should start where the scent left off. Past the Twilight Lake. She dipped her head, tail high, and leaped neatly from her rock perch. She led the way through the camp and towards its exit, all the while taking extra care with her step. We need to be alert, investigative, explorative, but we also need to be silent. Let's hope this works...if they have scouts out, no matter how careful we are, they'll probably see us if we don't see them first. I'd doubt it normally -- the battle was nothing but disorganized, bloodied chaos. But we were part of the chaos, too, and we're already sending out patrols after them. They're unpredictable.mysticsiv.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=bitterwind&action=display&thread=4149&page=1^^ Let us continue here ^^ (for future reference, this thread is in Wanderer Territories ---> Bitterwind Valley )
