Liberated! - Where the animal captives of humanity once again run free.
An eccentric billionaire with a passion for animals died after a prolonged struggle with heart disease. At his wake, private letters were issued to the leaders of a known radical animal liberation organization. The letter detailed the exact location of a privately owned plot of land granted to the group by the deceased, as well as instructions as to how it should be used...
It seems that our patron of animal activism had been a very busy man; the secluded, vast plot of land he purchased in Louisiana had been cultivated with a rich abundance of fruit-bearing trees, in addition to the native flora. What's more, he cleverely purchased land that included forest, wetland, and grazing areas in the heart of the state, where average annual temperatues seldom drop below 50 or raise above 90. The land is, in short, ideal for animals who have been compromised from captivity.
The specifications for the use of this land were simple: using the allotted funding, activists within the organzation are to liberate as many animals as possible, bring them to Louisiana, and set them free to live out their lives as "nature intended." Creatures from the factory farm, laboratory, fur farm, and other places of torture, confinement, and murder have been being liberated across the nation in the wake of this event. You are one of these animals, embarking on a new life in this strange new land.
Unfortunately, radicalists can be short sighted. Many animals coming from captive settings are psycologically disturbed, physically limited, or otherwise compromised for survival. What's more, others are domesticated or semi-tame, which can alter appropriate behavior and limit survival instincts. In short, despite a paradise, most of the species must learn the ups and downs of freedom first hand.
Congratulations. You have been Liberated!
~I'm doing this for another site so we can advertise there. Personally I think they should do this themselves, but it looks like a cool site, and we need members, so oh well XD
