Understandings
The elders tell of a time, when vampires and werewolves lived in harmony with each other. The werewolves would bring the blood of their victems to the vampires during the day while both hunted in groups at night when the moons shone. Everything was fine and all they had to worry about was the humans who feared them.
Then the tables turned. The humans took the leader of the werewolves, Zece, captive. In exchange for their leader, the weres attacked the vampires on the human’s behalf. Neither side was backing down the planet was soon covered in blood of the three races. During one such fight a were accidentally killed a human which resulted in the humans ignoring the bond they had with the weres and attacking them.
War went on for centuries, more and more humans backing out of the fight and more and more weres and vampires to be killed. Howls and screeches filled the skies every night. Soon, the humans backed out completely and forgot about the war of the two races, going on normally and making up stories about the mysterious deaths of their comrads.
Once upon a time, a young were took hold of the pack of werewolves. He went by the name of Kari. At this time, peace seemed like a possible option. However, the young leader was killed before any idea of this could actual be made. Everyone was devistated by the loss, even the vampires who knew how the wolf hated fighting.
Then, a pureblood took the stand. Lucien. Like with Kari, thoughts of peace claimed the city, even as a few more hostilities grew between the vampires under Hariyen's control and the werewolves under Lucien. And with the new leader, came a plot between two to destroy the pace that had begun to forge. Zeev, the werewolf, and Rashinali the fallen had come with a plan to have blood once mroe shed.
Namu, a shifter incharge of trying to keep the peace had been killed. The vampire Demykins was murdered by a werewolf. The wolf Cyro brutally attacked and killed by a vampire. Peace now seemed impossible to hold and violence on the horizon.
