((OOC: As you know... I was inactive... I blame homework and Algebra II! Though I didn't have a D or less in that class but I didn't get anything less of that. I just want to get this out of the way so I wouldn't feel guilty and I know I must have put this in a weird way so I'm make fancy coding later.)) Pernille got to the camp really late that there were only a few wolves awake. She couldn't help of thinking to herself if she was going to make the right decision or not just for going along with the new changes. Would her father be disappointed if he was watching from the Twilight Realm? Questions haunt her but she was going to start a meeting... tomorrow.
the next day.
It was sunhigh. She looked around and stepped on the alpha's rock where the alpha would normally sit when he or she will start a meeting. Pernille chose this time of day because everyone would be awake this time. "Everyone gather around, I need to cover a lot of things today," She howled. [/size]

The Yozoran warrior went out of his den at the signal howl. He paced to the rock and cocked his head, wondering what this was about. Would Pernille finally claim her place as alpha? His eyes looked at the fae, but then around the camp at who would join them. The pack felt unstable and anything could happen. A fight, a challenge, betrayel...it all started with those words.
The black wolf sat down and waited for the others to come forth. Jolon hoped Vivi had heard the call.

A simple sequence of words roused the male from his slumber. Lifting his head slowly, he squinted at the glow of light from the den entrance. Sunhigh already? Quietly shuffling to a stand, the brute limped out of the Healer’s den, yawning simultaneously. A ripple of burns and scars crinkled along his flank and throat, and his limbs were stiff with immobility—especially one paw, which he held rather delicately. But he could breathe, and he could stand. That’s all that matters. Shade eventually arrived near Pernille, settling himself near Jolon, and nodding to the other male in greeting. Hmm… I wonder where Bain is? I haven’t spoken to the guy since before I disappeared…
From the camp entrance, a black male slipped in, padding along the outskirts of the clearing like a prowling panther. After circling the pack, he sat near Pernille, his eyes darting about in search of Trianna.

Pernille looks at the soon-to-be... not-a-proxy, Bain. She trusted him, maybe not as much as others but her father chose him as a proxy when she became a beta. It was a while since she took responsibilities but she will do the first things first. The news... that didn't have to do with her becoming alpha. Like deproxitation and no more mentors. "First things first, all the packs decided to go off tradition and we all agree that we will not have mentors for neophytes. Instead we will have one wolf teaching neophytes as a group." She paused. "Any questions?"

Both Shade's eyes flew wide, thoroughly surprised by the news. Even Bain, and his solemn composure, was taken off guard. Wait... what!?
Bain glanced toward Pernille, his eyes betraying confusion, but a confusion that was slowly fading into understanding. It would eliminate much of the hassle that involves assigning mentors, so that's good... but it's also rather sudden. When did she discuss this with the other packs? Despite the shock, Bain could not summon up a question, and so bowed his head in acknowledgement of Pernille's new idea.

((Short on time))
Huh? What? Trianna was torn from her slumber by a sudden blare; the meeting howl that had not sounded for moons cut the air in a vocal slice. Excitement and anticipation stirred in Trianna's stomach. She scrambled to a stand and tore from the sleeping dens, bits of moss and rabbit fur still clinging to her pelt. Have they found Flisk and Neveria? Or Blood Mist? Are we going to attack? Is Bain biting...? She came to a sudden halt as she saw the meeting was already in progress. Dipping into the back, she looked around, wide-eyed. What's going on?
Crow, Olive, Lyell, and Autumn also joined the meeting. =P

OK, good, no questions so I don't have to explain. She thought to herself, if it wasn't good, better not say it at all. "Part two, we will not have proxies anymore and Bain, I will talk about you in a minute, I havn't forgotten about you. Proxies were third in command and other than that, they are just wolves with a fancy title, so no more of them. Just going to have an alpha and a beta." Pernille spoke. She doesn't know what was going to happen after this, if it's going to confuse the others or if there will be fighting. Hopefully not.

Bain looked on, studying Pernille augmented interest as she continued to speak. Now unfolds both an obstacle and an advantage. The pack organization is shaping up slightly, posing new opportunities, but my leverage may be lost. I need to wait and think… gain more insight, and more support. And I apologize, dear Trianna. I will not be biting just yet. Not with these new cards on the table. As Pernille addressed him, he nodded quietly. But really… when did this meeting take place? Why wasn’t the rest of the pack aware of this supposed conversation? Interesting.

((OOC: btw Wolfie... Bain scares me when I post in this thread.))
"Part three. The whole Alpha thing. I know I'm suppose to take the spot but I believe that I'm not ready for the position. I'll still lead as beta every once in a while in absence of our Alpha, Bain," She explained. "I wanted to explain the other things as a higher rank because Bain wouldn't know what would be happening, Bain, you're up." Pernille got down from the rock and stepped next to Bain like if she was a proxy [/blockquote]

Jolon couldn't believe his ears. He'd been following what the beta had been saying until now. She wasn't going to be taking leadership?! That worried him completly. His eyes stole a glance towards Bain to see his reaction as he was announced alpha. This was something the pack did not need. Was he the only one who had seen a different side of Bain and Trianna then anyone else?
His senses zeroed in on Bain and now he was looking at the newly appointed leader of the Yozorans with a look that said he'd be watching very carefully. What the male would do next would determine the way Jolon reacted as well and so he waited.

Her mouth dropped. Pernille, quite literally, had handed leadership to Bain without so much as a harsh remark in his direction. Could it be that Pernille herself recognized Bain as a more fit leader for the Yozorans? This is...too easy...there's something I don't know here... She scrutinized Bain's reaction. To a certain degree, she was triumphant. But, like her father behind her, there was also another, far larger portion of Tria that was lost in some impenetrable void of endless, empty, space... The thrill of being a Yozoran seemed lost to her.
Crow blinked once at the news, a flicker of surprise crossing his features, but this reaction was short and just as quickly replaced with the collapsed, surrendering features he'd taken to wearing. Previous to his mate's demise, Crow fought old age fiercely. Now, the first of many gray hairs to come framed his face.
