Nectar swore silently to herself as Macabre connected with the tree. Her bones rattled inside her, and spots of pain exploded in front of her eyes.
Her right front paw... she was sure it was broken. She hadn't been fast enough. But the rest of her... jarred, but otherwise okay. "You're not going to get rid of me that easily," she growled, trying to ignore the spots that still danced in front of her eyes.
Her left claws dug into his back, digging like she meant to strip the skin from his bones. And maybe she did. ---
"You have the bad end of deal," Patch grunted. Then he hurled himself, bleeding throat and all, back at Burn. He felt the chomp of her incisors just at the bottom of his neck, but he didn't care. He made as if to rip her underbelly apart.
Maybe they'd both die; he, however, would probably regenerate, soon enough. She would not. ---
Ene circled Carolina as Carolina circled her, sizing up the other female.
She's ready now, she's waiting for me to make a move. Ene feinted forwards, growling, but then immediately fell back. I can't make a real move though, because she'll counter right away.
"Why don't you come get me?" Ene snarled. "Aren't you on offense?"
I doubt she'll fall for it, but we can't keep circling forever.

Terralisa entered the fray, searching for a wolf to do battle with. Her pulse quickened as she caught sight of a corpse lying at the feet of a thirsting Blood Mist wolf. I have to try and take them out. My training's not the best but...I have to try. Howling fiercely, she hurled herself at Shiver.
Arachna cackled softly, relishing the ecstacy of claws tearing through enemy flesh. "You stupid little packwolves -- don't know what you're getting yourselves into!" She sprang at him after her rolled, aiming for a place on his back.
Carolina couldn't help but grin widely at her opponent. Ene was smart enough to bait her, but before she'd charged, she'd sat on the sidelines. "Not much of a fighter, are we?" She teased. Carolina feinted forwards then dove for Ene's shoulder.

Hellfire grunted, feeling himself being crushed beneath Solaris. He coughed, and heard the distinct noise of Kar getting up to rush them again. Oh really? He thought, and smirked. He used all his strength to roll, attempting to push Solaria in front of him. Therefore, Kar in all his blind rage and fury would end up killing his own team mate. ~~~ Frost stopped and kicked out, aiming to knock him a good kick in the head where he needed it the most. She snarled, glancing over her shoulder at him. ~~~ Do I really? She snarled to Patch, before snapping her crown back, and locking jaws with him. Ravenous growls were lifting in the air as she worked to kill him. To spill his blood.

Good, you needed to give the earth a big fat kiss, you worm! But suddenly, Hellfire was using his tactics against him. He felt himself be pushed forward, a living shield. He kicked off of Hell's stomach and dove desperately out of the way. Kar clipped his foot only slightly, but the touch sent him off balance. Solaris hit the ground hard and rolled into a slow, breathless stand. He circled the two of them, ready to jump in again if Kar needed help.
Powerful legs came at his face with a sudden force. Frost's kick connected with the side of Regulus' face and his neck snapped back slightly. Snarling a slew of curses under his breath, his jaws snapped furiously at her foot in at attempt to grab it.

Hellfire snarled, jumping forward toward Kar since he had been the one to rush the attack. He snarled, circling Kar, taunting him. Giving him every opportunity to attack him. He watched him, his eyes teasing. Almost as if saying "Come pups. Let's play a game. Maybe I'll win this time." He kept an audit pinned on the other male wolf as well, listening for rush attacks. ~~~ Uh oh. As he grabbed her foot she yipped, being drug toward his being. Frost growled, and kicked again with that foot, trying to dislodge something. Trying to get free.

"Yes," Patch snarled, biting down.
Pain shot through his mouth as he thought he felt one of his teeth connect with something; maybe one of Burn's teeth. Or maybe her jaw. ---
"So it's a battle of wits as well, then?" Ene returned the grin, only faltering a little as Carolina's claws dug through her flesh.
Taking advantage of Carolina's forward momentum, Ene lunged for Carolina's shoulders with both claws, aiming to clasp up.

(I'm gonna wait for Wolfie to respond with Kar ^^ )
At last, he had the upper hand. Regulus crunched down hard on her foot and twisted sharply. If his maneuver worked as he hope, her ankle would be badly injured and the fight would go to Regulus. Suddenly, another paw battered him hard in the stomach. He winced, but held on. It his him again, this time with more force. The third hit, he was forced to let go of his hold on her ankle and stumbled backwards, crouched and waiting.

She stumbled away from him, her hind leg held in the air slightly as she gathered her wits about herself. Suddenly, she crouched, growling lowly. She was waiting, because she was tired of making the moves. It was his turn now. ~~~ When Patches tooth clipped her tooth blood began to squirt from her mouth, and she growled as she pushed forward, trying to knock him back.

The prick of claws, almost as thorns, stabbed into his back. Gradually, this pack wolf’s status was elevating from a simple chore to a minor irritation. And Macabre was not pleased with the shift in rank. Recovering from the tree lunge, he dived forward, rolling onto the ground and back onto his paws, attempting to shake off the fae as she dug into his skin.
Is there no point to all of this? Shiver brought her head up from the inert male, muddy crimson stains already marring her picturesque silver hairs. The solid white of her chest was sticky and wild—almost as wild as the coals of her eyes. And then a fool of a wolf launched herself at her, and Shiver swiveled about to meet her with fangs at the ready. It was massacre; a destined, sick, and twisted massacre. And she was a part of it.
“Oh, yeah?” Milo grunted, blades peeling several lines of skin from his spine in a fluid motion. He arched his back, diving into another somersault to try to shake Arachna. Need to get her where I can make a hit. “And what would that be?”
Kar hardly noticed his packmate rushing at him, only noticing the wisp of warmth as his claws contacted flesh—but not his target. He continued on his spiral, but Hell had shifted away, beginning a circle. Kar stopped himself, heartbeat dancing around in his ribcage. Feet tapping, voices hooting, drums emitting their rhythmic beats. He blinked slowly, staring at his opponent. Not caring for taunts, but of the memory of friends. And that alone. He lunged, a momentarily clearer mindset directing him to attack Hell from the opposite side that Solaris had fallen. It would be harder for the brute to take them both that way. I’m not invincible, but neither are you.

Hellfire drew back quickly so Kar flew past him, and potentially into his pack mate. He wasn't stupid. He saw it. He faintly heard the howling, and the shouts of orders. He was focused on him. His heartbeat in his throat, and his blood was rushing. He watched Kar and his pack mate, waiting for one of them to make a move. When was BurnNote going to retreat so they could get a battle plan. They needed it, as did the BloodMists.

Carolina's eyes flashed dangerously at Ene's comment. Her lips pulled up back over her fangs as the Blood Mist wolf left fresh scars on her shoulder. Growling with determination, she tore away from the other wolf's hold and rushed her flanks.
Suddenly, lethal fangs flashed just inches from her face. Terralisa swerved and tumbled to the ground. She rolled away from Shiver desperatly and sprang into a low crouch, but her movements were slow -- too slow. Terralisa was falling blindly into death's waiting trap.
Solaris remained on the outer edges, still ready to attack Hellfire should the need arise. The wolf that lay dead near Kar and Hellfire was a Siverian; it was only right to give him a shot at revenge.
Arachna shrieked her hatred as she was tossed from her victim's back and thrown roughly to the earth. She struggled to a stand, but she was horribly winded. She spat back at him venemously, eventually crouching to the ground once more. "You will die! All of you!"
Regulus circled Frost Hymns with wild eyes, ravenous for the kill. Several times, he feinted forward if only to see fear flit through her eyes. He chuckled softly under his breath. "You're all so ignorant. It amuses me!"

Patch was a large brute. He only budged two single pathetic inches as BurnNote attempted to push him back.
His jaws were locked on hers, claws rigid against her, his consciousness slowly beginning to slow under the flow of blood spattering both Burn's and his pelts. ---
Nectar grunted as Macabre executed the roll, her claws ripping tufts of fur as the force extricated her from Macabre's back.
She bounced up as fast as she could, then lunged for his hind legs. Come on, come on, come on... At the moment, the brute seemed to be facing away from her, just having done the roll, but he could turn at any second. ---
Ene continued grinning, even as Carolina thwarted her plan yet again by breaking free of her clutches.
"What, don't have anything witty to say anymore?" An unconscious shudder ran down her body as Carolina slashed her flanks, just as Ene wheeled to face her.
Dammit, you're fast, Ene, get faster! Dodge for once!
Ignoring the blood that ran down her side, she slashed at Carolina's face with her left claws, intending to drive her right claws into whatever remained there afterwards. Effectively, in theory, this would give her two chances to hit.

Shiver slid, curving into a turn as she extended her toes for grip. Her sights centered on the new pack wolf that wandered into her area—a Terralisa. As the fae struggled to recover, Shiver ducked forward, an experienced assassin with a keen eye swooping in for the kill. All for what? That desire to feel surrogate heat splash her face? To bask her in its temporary warmth? Maybe.
Macabre swiveled, finally dislodging the complication from his spine. He revealed his fangs, not desiring to slaughter her—in some twisted version of honor, it didn’t seem right—but to disable her. He turned fast enough to escape an assault on his hind leg, but was unable to prevent her from sinking her fangs into his forelegs. He looked down at her, lifting his limb and attempting to sink his own jaws into her muzzle.
Kar landed rather smoothly despite the dodging of his target. Pebbles fled from his paws, and he returned his attention to Hell. Gradually, the haze of bloodlust began to slow, and clarity soothed his thoughts. This fight isn’t going anywhere. I jump, he dodges. Either he’s part jackrabbit, or part coward. He narrowed his eyes, glancing briefly at Solaris. Wait for him to come to us. He slowly moved around Hell, muscles tensed and awaiting Hell’s next move.
Milo leapt to a stand, charging at Arachna and hoping the fall had tired her enough to catch her off guard. He snarled lowly at her words, but dived forward nevertheless. “Not before you!”

BurnNote ripped back. They need a game plan. She backed away, and called "Everyone fall back! Fall back!" She ordered, backing away from the battle. ~~~ Hymn Frost pivoted on her heels, and turned to run to where BurnNote stood waiting for the others. She snarled, and said "Why are we retreating? Are we that afraid of the battle we started?" She huffed. ~~~ Hell smirked, and looked to Kar and his pack mate. "You pack dogs better get going. Your being called in." He said, a smug look on his face. ~~~ BurnNote waited for the rest to show up. She was sitting on their side of the border. She needed Carolina here.

(( Note to Burn: the battle is still pretty early; usually wolves retreat as they get injured or tired by themselves, and then then the alpha makes the final call. Since the battle is still kinda early and not everyone has had a chance to throw their wolves in yet, maybe we should transfer that from Burn to Carolina? Just a thought cause I don't want to end something that has so much steam prematurely )) Claws came at her face; instinctively she swerved to the right but was met with a second set of claws that shredded raging red lines across her cheek. Snarling, Carolina slashed back in a similar manner -- one paw went at Ene's stomach and the other at her flank. Should Ene jump back to avoid the hit to her stomach, she may still be caught on her flank. Somewhere in the background, she hear Burn howling but couldn't make out the words. Her eyes never left her opponent. Now's not a good time, sorry!Regulus didn't take much of a liking to Frost's pelting away. He sneered darkly, and then, he gave chase. He pelted behind her, taking a great leap and aiming to hurl himself into her fleeing body. His hairs brushed past hers as Arachna narrowly escaped the lunge. Immediately, she surged forwards to tear at his flank with her thirsting teeth and claws. "What is death to me? Nothing but a brief waiting room and some elevator music!"JK! "What is death to me, fool? I'm immortal! As is Blood Mist!"Solaris snarled with cold hatred at Hellfire. "She's not a Sheeran, idiot! Or a Siverian, for that matter, so don't get so damn eager!" With a sudden, impulsive forepaw, he effectively shot a bitch-slap at Hellfire. She had absolutely no chance in hell. Terralisa cowered beneath Shiver's impenetrable death trap. Tightly, she closwed her eyes and trembled. Like others before her, she prayed for it to be fast, clean, and quick. (like a swiffer duster.) ((I'm sorry to anyone I weirded out in my spazzish post xD ))
