This is a call to arms, gather soldiers Time to go to war
He thrust his maw forward again, attempting to dig his ivories deeper into his throat. He was getting impatient. He wished to kill this old man as quickly as possible. He pushed against the old man, attempting to make his ivories cut through vital veins. If it worked...he would have rid himself of this old man. Just a little… little farther… Eyes bulged from their sockets. A torrent of crimson cascaded from the severed path of skin, twisted and contorted in abstract little swirls. His flesh wrinkling from the impact of fangs diving deep into his jugular. The soft, barely audible hiss of fluid and air escaping his nostrils in an exhausted spurt. His death lock lessened, losing its force. Not physical scarring, but drowsiness plagued his thoughts. To slide down and sleep the night away; his truest, only desire… To wake up beside Mystic, gazing into those familiar eyes. Corsivo nibbling at his tail. The other children, too, would soon follow—all of them. Natoma, Griffen, Maya, Kaylee… just the bunch of them. Side by side, curled together. Perhaps the two of them watching the pups romp in their playful fantasies, dreaming of the day when they, too, would grow old and find love and have families of their own. So peaceful… so real… He slumped against the force of his foe’s bite, not quite noticing how quiet and still he had become. A sort of tranquility dawned on his face as the blood drained from his veins and spilled onto the earth below. In fact, he had hardly felt it. Mother… Father… Kids… Mystic… He shuddered, his eyes momentarily flickering skyward as the darkness overwhelmed his existence. I did my best, didn’t I? Lance was dead.
Kar blinked furiously, his eyelids fluttering against the gore that obstructed his vision. Only partially aware that his right cheek was all but nonexistent, with flaps of shredded skin wavering from their hinges like an open door swaying in the wind, he halted. His breath caught. “Lance?” His companion, his packmate—his friend, ally, brother in arms. Dead. “You… you fucking bastard! YOU’LL PAY FOR THAT!” Launching into a frenzy, Kar suspended all notions of valor and sanity. His eyes were on Hellfire, and he would only be satisfied by his flesh on his maw. He dove down onto the form, too upset for breathing. Too upset even for tears. Just blood.

This is a call to arms, gather soldiers Time to go to warHe felt Lance slump against him, and he threw his body aside just to have Kur take the position Lance had occupied. "Ooo...really? Because I rather enjoyed that, and paying for it just doesn't seem right..." He spat in Kur's face, locking jaws with him when he went into a ravenous fury. Hell actually like it. It was exciting for him. Hell snarled loudly, kicking hard with his back pillars in an attempt to get his attacker off him.

Kar struggled to maintain the upright position, continuously scrambling for a blow at the neck. And the torso. Somewhere, anywhere. He didn’t care what he hit anymore, so long as he streaked the sky with streams of Hellfire’s blood. The comment hardly caught his attention; in fact, Kar managed to avoid listening altogether. The very sound and notion of Hellfire speaking, and not the words itself, were enough to stir his wrath even further. Temptation for violence was no longer an issue. Violence was the issue now. And Kar paid no heed to it. My parents, my sister, my friends— Momentarily, Hell managed to land a sizable kick to his abdomen, sending him spiraling to one side with maroon coloring spraying from his underside, but—after wandering in a daze for several moments—he resumed his merciless assault. Thoughts of deceased faces, lives claimed by Blood Mist spawn, fueled the fire. He abandoned all caution, completely losing over to the thirst for carnage.

This is a call to arms, gather soldiers Time to go to war
In the few moments that Hellfire had managed to pry his assailant off he was up, and met his attack. It was a fight of pure death wish. A fight of fangs, claws, and iron wills. That will? To spill the blood of the other wolf. Growls, snarls, and screams of agony were lifting into the air all around around them. The battle was very real all around them, but it was as though Hellfire and Kar saw no one else but each other. A bloodbath. That's what he wanted. His titanium muscles bounded him forward, cording themselves with years of honed skill. The skill his father had made sure he had. His fangs flashed wickedly in the moonlight as he went to meet the assault head on. He threw himself forward, their bodies colliding again. His ivories searched for anything to grab on to. At this point, he didn't care what he grabbed. He was just searching for something to bite, and inflict pain. Unbearable pain. A vicious snarl lifted from his chest, and cut through the air like a butter knife through hot butter. This is a battle song, brothers and sisters Time to go to war

Oh no you don't! Not this time! Nectar scrambled down Macabre's back, sticking claws in his flesh every step she took, though not very heavily. She had to be quick. Come on, he can't just turn around and ram his back into the tree.
Nevertheless, she braced herself, digging her claws into his fur. The impact with the tree was going to be astounding, and she hoped it wouldn't fling her off. ---
Patch growled angrily as he felt fangs pierce his fleshy neck and claws penetrate his underbelly.
In response, he crunched angrily down on her neck with his own teeth and stabbed his own claws towards her belly.
He wasn't going to fling her off him, and get his throat torn out or something. Better to induce enough pain that she'd let go. ---
Ene yipped in surprise as a pack wolf lunged at her, claws digging long valleys in her shoulders.
First instinct: run. She could probably outrun this pack wolf... But then again, as she had seen before, pretty much all of her packmates were in combat. She'd have to be useful somehow.
She decided on the close combat manuever - clench up and gain control, somehow. Ene dove for Carolina's shoulder, hoping to dig her claws into her fur.

BurnNote yipped, and then a growl ripped through her throat. She placed a paw right beside her maw, and started to push down on his throat, aiming to rip up as much flesh as possible. She blocked out the pain that was careening around her mind, bouncing off her skull, and then repeating the process. One of them would have to let go, and then recuperate before flinging themselves toward each other again.

Well, it wasn't going to be Patch.
He could feel dripping, crimson life falling from his throat now, or was it just his imagination?
At least the claws on his chest had lightened; were they on his throat now? He couldn't think, much less... think. The oxygen was going with his blood flow.
He chewed harder on Burn's neck, and made vicious swipes with his clawed paw at her underside, while the other stump attempted to punch her like a human.
They were stuck in a stalemate; one of them would have to let go, or they very well might die there. Both of them.

She growled, feeling her own crimson blood flowing. Alright. If one of them did not give in, they would both die. She jerked back suddenly, his jowls being ripped from her throat. A thick stream of blood was running from the side of her throat, but it wasn't serious. She jumped back from him, before jumping for him again, jowls open wide.

Solaris swallowed hard as he watched a Siverian fall to the wolf at the center of the clearing. Eyes narrowed, muscles bunched, he sprang to Kar's aid and came at Hellfire from behind. He took a great leap and aimed for Hellfire's back. He might not be a Sheeran, but with you here, he's one of our own. You'll pay for that!
Beside Kar, a soft presence lingered over him. Soothing, warm, nurturing even; it spoke to him in a soft voice, above the nearly impenetrable rage that flowed through his body. "You can do this, Kar. I know you can, my son. You are just as strong as he; you can fight him!" No other wolf would hear Siveria's ghosted words to her beloved son.
Yes! Victory soared through him as his hits met their mark and bloodied her at last. REGULUS wasted no time in rolling away and jumping to his feet. Her hits were distracted with pain and dismay; blind swipes that were for the most part easy to avoid. He feinted and danced around her, cackling softl. Which way do you think I'll go, packwolf? He feinted once more, taking a snap at her left flank, then threw his entire body towards her legs.
Arachna let out a high-pitched snarl as one of Milo's swipes connected and left a wide gash on her shoulder. Growling darkly, she changed tactics and darted for his flanks. "We are!"
Carolina bounced back from Ene as she tore at her shoulder; it was now scraped and bleeding lightly, but she didn't waste time in looking at it. She circled the wolf defensively, calculating her next move.

Hellfire whirled around to meet Solaris. He used an evasive tactic and swerved to the side, before pivoting on his hind legs and turned to meet his new assailant head on. A snarl ripped through him as he stalked around Solaris in a circle. Watching him. Why was he getting into to this? He chuckled softly, before sprinting forward, rushing Solaris once more. He bunched his muscles together, and sprang toward Solaris with his jowls wide open, ready to dig his fangs into his body. He was getting fed up with this. ~~~ Frost snarled, calming herself some what so she could think clearly. She watched him as he danced around her now like an utter fool. She waited for him to attack, and once he had she jumped. Straight up into the air so if she calculated right, that would land him right under her. Then, if she was correct she would land on his back, and before he could even think of about doing anything else she could sink her fangs into his neck. Being that everything went as she planned.

His plan had gone awry, but Solaris wasted no time working into plan B. As Hellfire leaped at him, he ducked and slunk forward quickly. Now under him, Solaris bunched his legs and propelled himself upwards with all of his might, hoping to do some damage to his ribs and soft underbelly. In any case, he's obviously distracted with my involvement. Kar, you better go at him!
Regulus snarled darkly as his target leaped. He threw himself roughly to the ground and rolled so he would miss her by hairs. He hurried to a stand, but she would have time to swipe at him. Defensively, he lashed out in front of himself with his claws, hoping to keep her at bay.

Hellfire growled, realizing he was in grave danger if he did not divert his weight. As Solaria threw himself up at his underbelly, Hellfire planted his hand legs on his back, and took most of the force that was thrown into his ribs. Hell had managed to stay on his back because of the position he had put himself in, and his crown quickly descended to tear his nape up. ~~~ Frost danced around him easily, seeing that she had gotten him into a vulnerable position. Well good. She thought, before leaping forward. Her aim was not the neck, or his face, but instead his shoulder. She leaped forward before pivoting on her hind legs, and changing the direction her slash. She aimed for his shoulder, hoping that she would succeed. (Yay! My 1500th Post! xD )
Solaris felt the wolf on him a second after Hellfire had planted his legs on his back. He let the wolf come at his neck, and tossed himself hard to the ground to crush Hellfire beneath his back. Don't like it so much now that you've got the short end of the stick, eh?
None of his blows landed, but he had succeeded in making her pause before launching her next attack. As she lunged at him, he ducked and rolled away. He barely missed her; she flew right past his shoulder. He leaped to a stand, now behind her, and flew at her hind legs with teeth bared and thirsting for a hold in her flesh.

Like a mechanical bear trap, fangs seized his foreleg in a death grip. The ridges of teeth burrowed into his skin, puncturing the layer of muscle and arteries just beneath the surface. So much pressure, so much blood. Radar blimps of pain escalated to full-scale tidal waves of it. Blindly, he reached out to fasten his fangs on the skull that had dared come so near his body, only to have it ripped away by some other opponent. Kar managed to stumble upward, preparing to give chase. And that voice. I will. Ignoring the ribbons of red that spiraled from his wounded leg, Kar aimed to slam his jaws down at his opponent in a vigorous lunge.
His breath lost, the Sheeran reeling from the swipe she had scored across his flanks. He stumbled into a roll, landed on his stomach and staring up at Arachna. There was no fear in his gaze, only fortitude. “Are you really?”
Macabre grunted, finally gaining enough momentum and slamming into the pine, curling his body in an attempt to make his opponent the primary receiver. There was pain, a moment of dizziness, but otherwise the massive male was not too shaken. I’ll be sore come tomorrow.
