Hellfire felt fangs rip into his nose, and he jerked slightly, his fangs digging through Kur's flesh as he ripped back, shaking his head, trying to clear his visage of the blood. He growled, hunkering down once more and throws himself forward.

Snare knocked him to the ground, but Kunai's retalition hit her hard in the gut and sent her stumbling away again. She lunged at him again as he started to get up, jaws salivating with anticipation.
Carolina's plan had worked; Ene was crushed beneath her. Suddenly, she was tossed from her position of upper hand as the wolf kicked out with her hindlegs into her back. She snarled as pain rippled through her back once more but hurried to a stand and whirled to face Ene in a defensive crouch.
Sweet Verlust, no, damnit, NO! Her teeth were latched firmly below Milo's neck, but as he snapped at her, his fangs tore into the gouges he had left before; blood sprayed from the deepening wounds like red blazing fountains. Arachna release him and screamed in pain and shaking violently in a futile attempt to get away. But isntead, the pain only worsened as her movement ripped away at the skin surrounding her skull.
BurnNote lunged suddenly. Regulus growled in resignation, then bunched his muscles and launched himself at her as well, aiming for collision.

What is this kid’s problem? I’m not even that fanatical about Blood Mist myself. But even as Macabre squirmed in his annoyance, a fellow Blood Mist took notice of his struggles. Curious, Temper slid closer to Macabre. “What’s with that stick in your fur?” As Macabre swerved about, Temper blinked. “Oi, two sticks.” Leaping forward, Temper attempted to rid Macabre of his pest.
Milo continued his assault, although the fresh wounds were deep. Not only did pain blossom from his chest, but the dangers of death sharpened, suddenly even closer. More real. He swallowed hard, bargaining with himself. Hold out a little longer. Just a little longer. Then you can sleep for a week; the world will be better. They’ll all go away and leave your pack alone. You’re the Sheeran Beta; this is nothing. If you win, you’ll meet with Svel again… At that thought, he slammed the rest of his strength into a near-final blow.
Stamina fading, Kar twisted, shoved once more onto his side. He managed to keep one forelimb pressed against the ground, providing support to keep his head up. At the moment, however, his offensive zeal was fading; he grew more concerned with defending what body parts and vitals he had left, swiping out defensively.

BurnNote and the brute collided, and both went toppling head over heels, rolling against the ground. Where is he, where is he!? She growled, trying to locate his shadow. There. She slowly circled him, having knocked him and herself to the ground. No way was he going to ever know he was fighting a fae that had mysteriously gone blind. Except for shadows. That's the only thing she was picking up. ~~~ Hellfire was growing increasingly tired, and he just wanted this to be over. The waterfall had taken it's toll on him and his fighting ability. The only thing that kept him going was the rage he felt inside. He felt a claw swipe against his chest, but was too tired and exhausted to feel it. He kept going. He would be feeling that in the morning, that was for sure.

Arachna finally wrenched herself free from his hold, though the bite-marks on her head and face had turned to deep, long gashes that gushed and oozed crimson over her features. Breathing heavily, Arachna began to realize that retreat was no longer an option or choice; soon, it would be a necessity. Snarling with fury, she moved out of the way as Milo came at her again. No, the fighting is over for us here. But the battles have only just begun. She limped eagerly towards the woods. Before she fled into her terra, she turned and flashed fangs at the Sheeran. "Don't be so sure of yourselves, packwolves. There are those among you who will soon be turning."
As BurnNote made to circle him, Regulus circled her as well. In a sphere of tension, Regulus slunk forward with fangs bared. He waited for her to make the first move and he stalked her.

She was gaining her breath, and trying to figure out why she couldn't see. She could end up dying, she just was too..stubborn to pull out. Besides, she encouraged the attack as well. So, she would either die fighting here, or they would retreat. No if's, and's, or but's. She lunged forward for anything in her blindness.

Weed, Natalia, and others that Sivvy can't recall were still lunging at random Blood Mist wolves that, for some reason, had no legit identity. 0_o Same with Roman, Crimson, and Enferian of Blood Mist. You think they would attack each other or something. Huh. Weird. Assyria was still unconscious at the heart of the clearing....whoops, nope, not unconscious. Now she's just sleeping. Regulus watched her come at him and stepped lightly to the side. He held out a forepaw to slice at her as she brushed past him. There was something odd about her movements now. He couldn't quite put a paw on it, but there was definitely something less sure about her attacks. I've shaken her judgement, Regulus thought with dark glee. She doesn't know any more tactics that will win this fight. Ha.He still had no idea what Burn's real problem was. Stupid head

Nectar felt a "whump" as another brute flung himself on her. Hmm, that sounded worse than it really was. Oh well.
She clawed at Macabre's back, hoping to hold on to him if the other brute tried to pull her off. ---
Patch continued clawing at Frost. There isn't much else to say, I think. ---
Ene flipped over on her feet and locked her eyes on Carolina, preparing for the next attack. "Tired of this yet?"
She had the vague impression that this comment would again be met with a snarl and a flurry of claws. Oh well, there's always a first time.

BurnNote couldn't see, that's what her problem was. But, she was still smart enough to know that he had pulled to the side. She quickly rolled to the side, hitting a tree in the process. Oh, good gravy! She thought, and got up, shaking herself. She jumped forward again, did a upper cut for his throat, but changed her direction in a split second and went for the lower part of his throat. ~~~ Frost kicked at him, trying to get him away.

Regulus snarled in dark fury as teeth suddenly latched into the space just below his throat. Somewhere, between the black and blue spots of pain that flared across his vision and the blood that now oozed profously from the fresh wound, Regulus came to the conclusion that it would be very fine if BurnNote's head was cracked and bleeding. So, he chomped at her head. (LIKE A PIRAHA!) Flashing her teeth, Carolina took a swing at the side of Ene's face. Perhaps it was an attempt to knock some sense into her. Or it could be a bitchslap...or... both!

--I've concluded. She's gonna get captured. Right...about...now!
She growled, holding on but as he moved around she lost her grip and was flung against the tree again. Lights exploded in front of her eyes, a sickening cracking noise filling her ears. She tried to get up, but collapsed again and again with each attempt. Blood was seeping from her head, and she was pretty sure she had eternal bleeding. She tried to get up once more, but ended up collapsing once again. And this time, she didn't get up again.

Macabre continued shifting about, trying to dislodge the female, and Temper did pretty much the exact same thing. “Hold still!”
At last, the quarrel was won. Even amidst the corpses of fallen brothers and sisters, Milo soared with triumph at the realization. Or as much triumph that he could sense, having grown numb to the universe beyond the burden of exhaustion. “Yeah? We’ll see about that,” the Sheeran growled. As his opponent fled, he released a sigh, and padded stiffly from the heart of the fray. It was time to rest. Svel… I need to see your face.
The blows kept on coming, the initially furious blows growing less and less repetitive. Kar, winded, momentarily flashed his gaze about the clearing. The space was fairly small, he realized. They nearly ran into other brawling wolves with their antics. He blinked again, feeling claws strike his foreleg, but barely wincing at the now expected sting. Wait… Coal? A double take. It was Coal—dead? I’m getting too tired; he is, too. But we’re not getting anywhere… was this all worth it? Is Coal dead, too? I can’t tell from this angle… dear Lupus, please just be unconscious. Kar launched another kick with his hind legs, hoping to keep Hell distracted enough to enable him to get to his paws. This is it… need to get going, if this bastard lets me.

He was knocked in the jaw, and Hellfire fell back. Instead of attacking again, he sat there, winded as he watched Kur. Okay...I'm too tired for this..way too tired...this isn't going to work. It just isn't. His tongue lolled from his mouth, and he dragged warily to his feet. Hoping Kur would run off. He wasn't going to. It was either do or die for him. It was simple. It was the rule he lived by. What he would continue to live by.

Larka devoured Hellfire. "Don't worry, Kar, I will save you!!!" JK! Sorry, just finished rereading The Sight Oh, and I'm taking that as permission to steal her, Burn --------------------------------------------- Under his breath, the beast chuckled as he lumbered over to BurnNote's fallen form. He had defeated her; he eyed her throat hungrily, alrady fantasizing about the slow, painful deaths he could put her through now that she was defenseless. But then, in the back of his mind, logic took the reigns. She led the battle for the Destinians for the cowardly alpha. If she is not beta, she very well could become beta. The Destinians haven't had a beta in ages, let alone one that lasts long. Keep them weak, but make them suffer. Take her. Take her away. Torture her mind until it unwinds.A sudden change came over Regulus' features. His eyes glinted danerously, like a viper coiled before the strike. His teeth were lusting, but the hunger now moved to his eyes. He lurched forward and seized her scruff in his teeth. Slowly, he dragged her threw the swamps of blood and flesh that littered the battlefield. You're ours now.

(( if only that would happen we need a Larka! )) The impact of wounds and bruises already beginning to settle in, Kar suddenly dipped his head. It was his chance to get out, and fight again another day. The intelligent thing, although it was difficult. On some level, he wished to vocalize his bizarre respect for Hellfire. He admired his strength, his determination. Then, on the other hand, he absolutely despised him and regarded the brute as a filthy murderer. “We’ll be meeting again,” he managed before tearing himself away. Fleeing the heat of battle, Kar arrived at Coal’s side. Silent for a moment, he searched the immobile body, and discovered the faintest of pulses. By some uncanny reserve of might, Kar shouldered the fallen warrior onto his back, and limped from the battlefield. He flashed a final glance toward the corpse of Lance, regretting that he could not carry both comrades. I’ll come back for him if I have to.
