"All right, all of you Don Jauns, get a look at this!" Turning and careening her head over her shoulder to get a better look, the she-wolf admired her pelt as it shimmered eerily in the moonlight. She was coated in a thick, silver-blue pelt of soft mountain fur. Her pelt was fuller and thicker than those of the valley wolves. Her eyes, a glittering indigo, surveyed her reflection in the lake's cool, rippling waters. Slowly, she spun, a small smile lighting her face as she admired herself. She sighed heavily after a moment, her smile gradually fading. "Yeah, you just take my breath away, sugar." She'd fulfuilled her purpose. She'd found Nightshade, and her sister and mate, Iver would be kept close from now on. Happiness bubbled inside of her at the thought. Yet... All of her life she'd been searching. She'd found her sister, yet she felt as if she should be searching for me. I missed out. Life flew by before me and I didn't get a chance to live it. She sat statuesque on the silver stone at the heart of the clearing, angelic with poise as the moonlight washed over her. So if someone's searching, come and find me.

“Where did you leave her?” Despite the serene shimmer of silvery moonlight across the grass and the comfortable warmth of the summer evening, a stern voice interrupted the silence. A shape shifted to a halt, the interrogating male eyeing the other with nothing short of contempt. Or was it anger? “Look, Konan, she’s fine. She’s a big girl, alright? She can take care of herself.” The brute studied his companion suspiciously, and then sat back on his haunches. The haze of fury that had consumed his gaze a moment before suddenly became a serene calm, as if appeased by the answer. Nearby, a third male was pacing around them, one of his legs bending quirkily out of rank with the others. It glinted of steel, his fake leg still carrying the faint scent of testing facilities—a metallic and medical scent all in one. Then, abruptly, he halted. “Did you fellas hear that?” Konan, the tallest of the three, peered over the deformed male’s head. He could not make out anything. “Quit making up stories, Acero—can’t you see Konan’s a little cranky?” Gauner chuckled, rolling his eyes. “No, seriously—I heard something.” Without waiting for a reply, the smallest of the trio bounded off. Within minutes, the male nearly crashed into a stunning face, at which he gawked in a stupor. “Uh… er… ‘ello?” Konan and Gauner cautiously followed, though remained back.

Eyes fluttered open in surprise. Slowly, she turned her gaze upon the three approaching strangers -- all male. For any old solitary femme, perhaps this would've been intimidating, especially for one of beauty. Whisper had never especially felt this fear; after all, if they got creepy well, she just got gone. Their loss. As the wolves came into view, a slow, dazzling smile lit up her eyes and face. "Well, hey there. What do we have here?" She slipped down from the stone and strutted over to them with a swing in her hips and mischeif written on her face. She moved forward to greet them, hairs tingling with excitement. Not one, but three....three in one....best deal ever.... Best NIGHT ever....

Mottled grey and silver hairs subconsciously spiking, Acero stared up in awe at the figure he witnessed before him. His metallic limb shifting slightly behind his natural one, he gulped heavily, not sure how to react. She’s so… so beautiful. He continued to stare, immobile and nervous. “Hey, Acero—looks like you tracked us down something worthwhile this time!” The rounder, more flamboyant of the three bounced out from the shelter of the wood. The colorful chocolate and burgundy shades of his coat flowed nicely with every step, and he wagged his tail in a friendly salute. “Nice to meet you, ma’am. I am Gauner. And over there in the shadows is Konan.” At the mention of his name, the brute stepped into the light, the softer hues of tan and ivory radiating a silver sheen. He remained silent, almost distrustful, of the newcomer. “…and, uh, I’m… I’m Acero,” the youngest managed, still fixating his gaze on her form. “…what’s…. what’s your name?”

Her ingido gaze flickered between the three of them. She now found herself a tad overwhelmed in the prescence of three, one who appeared a little surlier than the others. Yet, all the same, she was ready for a challenge. She offered the silent one a tentative smile before turning to survey Gauner and Acero. Her smile widened to a full, dazzling grin as Acero greeted her. She laughed softly, relishing in all of this male attention. Ah, Icarus...might have to put you on hold. Maybe some other time. I got me some eye candy! "I'm Whisper," she woofed genially. "I've never seen you boys before, are you from around here?"

“We, uh—” With a soft oof, Acero was shoved over, replaced by an eager Gauner. The brute flashed a persuasive grin, motioning to the sky with his eyes. “Whisper, what a lovely name. The three of us? Well, we typically roam here and there, experiencing this and that. Lately, though, we’ve been scouting around this particular neighborhood. If I may say so, you don’t seem that familiar either. More… exotic. Where are you from?” Finally managing to scramble to a stand, Acero shot a small glare in his companion’s direction. His gaze softened, however, as it returned to Whisper. “Yeah, have you, uh, crossed the mountains?”

Exotic? That's a new one. I like it! Her smile never faltered as they scrambled over her, it only grew. She felt the lightest of blushed under her pelt, but was thankful it would most likely go unnoticed. She tried to keep her gaze rotating between the three of them, but Gauner seemed amorous with the spotlight. "Really? It's nice to know some natives, then. My family is from the deep mountains, and that's where I spent most of my life. We're also roamers; we spent a small amount of time in the Mirror Valley region and recently came here in search of some lost family." She paused, inclining her head towards them ever so slightly. "I definitely like what I found here."

The two brutes listened intently to her replies. Well, Gauner mostly listened—he was more interested in the visual spectrum that the moment had to offer. Acero, however, hung on every syllable, marveling out how wondrous a creature could exist. An angel. “Y-You have a very beautiful accent,” Acero blurted out. Gauner grimaced, rolling his eyes at his friend. “Yes, that’s all very interesting. But,” he brightened his gaze “we are extremely glad that you have entered these lands? Have you been here long?” “Would you like a tour?” Konan, serious as always, scowled ever-so-subtly at the suggestion. Where is Kasa?

Whisper chuckled again as they lightly competed over her attentions. The other one, Konan, we just a surly horse. She paid him little attention; what good was a guy if he didn't know how to have fun? Gauner seems a little too sure of himself, but I still think he's cute. And Acero's adorable. Hm. Maybe this is love in the making. "Thank you, that's very sweet of you...Acero, was it?" She winked briefly at him, then shrugged her shoulders in a stretch. "Well, it's a bit hotter here than up in the mountains, if you know what I mean, but I think I can handle the heat. And only for a moon or so." Lots of flirtacious smiles thrown at Gauner. At Acero's suggestion, she turned and blinked at him with surprise. Her smile returned with sparkling Crest WhiteStrips intensity. "Why yes, that would be quite lovely of you, if it's not too much trouble?"

“Yes, it is. We must be moving. Now.” Gauner and Acero turned to Konan, standing inert and obscured by shadows. Acero faltered at the command, glancing between his closest friend and the beautiful acquaintance in a moment of indecision. Gauner, however, simply rolled his eyes at the brute, and turned to Whisper. “Just ignore him, ma’am. He’s a bit sore that he lost track of his own lady.” Staring steadily at Gauner, Konan didn’t shift at the suggestion. After the proceeding staring contest, Acero cleared his throat and rose up between the two males. “Heh, Konan is just like that; let him be. And of c-course it isn’t any trouble—follow us!” Slowly, the male slinked away from the glowering beast, and smiled kindly at Whisper. Gauner grunted, and then muttered on his breath. “Konan’s a bit sick in the head, if you know what I mean…”

Whisper's gazed flickered to Konan as he spoke. Her lips pursed for a moment, and the sparkle in her eyes dimmed slightly. Her features were visibly crestfallen. She looked to her paws and murmured, "Well, I don't want to be a burden or anything--"She cut herself off as Acero and Gauner reassured her. A tentative smile grew on her face once more. She shrugged her shoulders, and then fell into stride between Acero and Gauner. I don't much like that Konan character. Too dark. I prefer tall, delicious, and handsome. And I've got me a pair of very fine yummies here. Don't need him and his standoffishness. Without so much as a glance at Konan, she flashed a smile at Acero and Gauner. "Thank you, this is very kind of you. It's not something I've ever really come across before -- wolves aren't so agreeable with each other in the mountains."
