It was raining, just one of those weird days where it gets really hot and the humidity just gets makes it worse for all the wolves, even in the other packs. Which was nice that Kunai had the morning shift to catch prey for the pack as long with some of the others. The mornings were much cooler than the afternoon and evenings. It was cloudy at the beginning and then it sprinkled, warm water came from the clouds as it became harder droplets of water from the sky. It was now afternoon as Kunai dropped his hare into the pile and headed to the resting dens where his mate was still resting. The brute shook his ebony coat to get the water off of him so he can be a little bit drier than when he was hunting. He laid down next to her putting his head over her neck, a sign of protection. Yeah, he was a bit protective of her but lets her go out when it was her time to go on a hunting patrol or do anything else that she wanted. It only means that he cares.
((yeah, im gonna say that they are mates and that Raye already joined the pack and all that jazz. Just need to make things simpler. For Sivvy and since their last thread took place two seasons ago.

Raye watched her mate come into the resting den as she lay curled up and half-asleep. She raised her emerald green eyes to his face and her brown tail thumped on the floor as she looked at him. He shook the water out of his coat as he came in before laying down next to her.
"Morning sweetheart." Raye smiled as he rested his head over her neck. It was still cool in the resting den, even if the rain was warm outside.
She snuggled closer to him and giggled a little. She loved him, even when he thought that he was being overprotective of her...she didn't mind at all. Raye licked her maw a little and looked at her mate's front paws. They were still black, but they smelt strongly of hare's blood. She licked his paws gently and cleaned out the cloying red stuff from the fur upon said paws.
"How was your hunting trip?" Raye looked up at him with her emerald green eyes and her tail casually flopped over the top of his.
(ooc: no worries, but my assessments are coming up soon so I'll reply as often as I can, because I love this couple! ^///////^ yeah, our last thread was ages ago huh? oh well, this is cute too =D )

Kunai smirked a bit when she asked him about the hunting trip. "Wet," He paused. "Other than that, it went fine," He explained. The summer having rain was a bit odd but it normally doesn't happen. Just the water making it worse. The brute was never really too fond of humid rain but at least it'll fill the rivers a bit and the lake, though he isn't expecting too much rain. Just maybe the moment or the worst the day. "Have you slept well?"
