Her leg was aching, and she would give anything to just lay down. She looked slowly in the direction he had pointed out, and nodded her crown. "I do suppose that one suits my tasts just a tad more. Just because...you know. I would have been whining if you would have shoved me down there."[/i] And she wasn't kidding either. She would have been more of a pup had he stuffed her down there in the ground. She turned toward the cave, and slowly limped toward it. It was getting more and more difficult to walk on the limb. Her gaze slowly slithered to the cave where her companion was. My time is running out. They will kill me, but perhaps you will be able to escape with your life if your smart. Her words careened around her mind, and with a sigh she tore her chasms away from it. With an awkward gait she slowly moved toward the cave, and lowered her nose to sniff around. It smelled musky...she didn't like it. She did suppose it was better than anything else. Though, she would much rather be with her compainion, but they knew that. So, they would do everything in their power to make it uncomfortable.
--You know what would be cruel? Is if they killed her right after she gave birth to her pups, and made BurnNote sit and watch it.

(( That would be good, but I'm not exactly sure about killing her off yet. In reality, it would be kind of ridiculous for her to escape twice, but she has some loose ends =/ Like...Wolfie's char, Magic, is getting old needs to retire soon, so Annelise would be the main healer, but if she dies, than there's no one left to take the spot and you know how excited everyone gets over high ranks *sarcasm* I shall weigh my options. )) He nodded slighty as he went, taking a mental note to tell Cora to check in on the captives. Oh, what good is that little amateur going to do her, anyway? Should probably go straight to Kreuger, Cora doesn't know how to do anything yet. Regulus was deeply troubled. His emotions were tossing like waves, but he couldn't fathom why. Sure, there was the typical discomforts with this current version of Blood Mist, but even that shouldn't have him this disheveled. He grunted moodily to himself and turned back to his rock to keep watch on the camp. Idly, he licked at his wounds from the battle. They were healing well enough, but they still smarted occasionally. He was battered, in no place to pick a fight, and yet he knew, now that they'd settled into a territroy, that the war was on. They'd be fighting every inch of their lives. Is that it? Is that why we came back, then?He sincerely hoped not.

Once she was safely in the caves she collapsed on the cold ground, and dropped her head on her paws. She was miserable. At lease they didn't torture their captives...or did they? Was she just lucky that it hasn't happened to her yet? Were they waiting for her to heal from her battle wounds before they did to her what they had done to her friend? Annelise had pointed out that she was most likely here to be toyed with as if they were the cats, and she were the play thing. Tears of grief slowly slipped down her cheeks, and fell to the slate she lay on. She wished she could just give up, but then that means that they have won. And there was no way in hell that she would be letting that happen anytime soon. She remembered Carolina. She remembered how she had called them back, but nope. No one listens well enough. Except for Frost. Frost. It was because of her she was here now. The stupid fae had gotten herself into trouble, and Burn turned back to help her. That's why she was here. She snarled slightly, shaking her head as the tears continued to fall. She then thought of Fireflight. Surely she wouldn't leave her here to rot away in the dungeon, or worse. Until they decided they wanted to treat her to the same treatment they treated Annelise with. I have to get out.... She thought. It was like a wave of panick had washed over her, and there was no escaping it now. If Fireflight was going to leave her here, then she would escape! She nearly got up, and burst from the cave in a frenzy of panick. Her whole life had consisted of her being abandoned, and forgotten. Surely Fireflight hasn't forgotten her.
Little did BurnNote know that new life had been born to the Destinian packs. Fireflight was now a mother. BurnNote had no idea what was going to happen. Had she been forgotten? Just the mere thought of it sent a horrifying thrill down the line of her ruffled dorsal spine, shaggy bodice shuddering as yet another sob threatened to escape the confinment of her body. With some effort she forced her maw to clamp down, and she fell silent of the rock she set apon. Her audits perked as she listened to the nosies around her. As she listened to the life of the camp that she so desperately wished to escape, yet it seemed as though it was nearly impossible. She was pretty good at running, but there wasn't an option here. There was no way to sugar coat the reality of this. If she even tried to run she would be killed instantly. She wasn't sure how much longer her mental state could take it. She always wondered what it would be like if she was captured, yet they were night scares. The kind that get so violent that you wake up shuddering, a scream on your lips.
She was living her worse nightmare.
