Sharp pain seering from the place where teeth connected with his leg forced Griffen to back away from the intruder. He recovered quickly, but when he looked up, Yuriko was perilously slipping on the edge of the cliffside. His eyes burned with cold fury as Tangle went for her. He rushed forward and shoved Tangle to the side as he grabbed Yuriko by the scruff. His muscles strained and blazed in protest; Yuriko was not much smaller than he was. Slowly, he managed to pull her to safer ground. He let her go gently and moved to stand between her and Tangle, snarling with venom.
"Get out of my territory!"

Tangel's Eyes Narrowed as Yuriko laid on the ground behind this Wolf. He turned with a growl and stalked over to his kill. He snatched it up in his muzzle.

Yuriko panted behind Griffen her fur taking its time to flatten out. She looked up at him, "Thank you." She whispered. that was all she could do as her body felt the adrenaline wearing off slowly.
