Yuss, I have come to suggest a few little things xD.
You know your dynamic category tabs? Well, there's actually a section where you can put in the color so it's not just plain gray c:. I think it might look a bit nicer if you made the color match the default skin.
Also, I believe it might appear to be a little neater if you put all of it on one row; you could possibly combine some categories, such as the character category and the ooc category together to the welcome category to make it a whole ooc category; that's if you want to keep all of the RP categories separated by packs and such. If you want to keep the ooc boards separated you would probably have to make the packs into one category, you know? Kind of like Stillwater (http://thestillwater.proboards.com/index.cgi). ;3 But that's just a couple suggestions; you don't have to if you don't want to.

^^ Thank you for your ideas & suggestions. Yuss -- I am aware that the colors can be changed. I left them a sort of generic gray so that they might fit with any skin a member chose to use, but I do see where matching them with the default skin may be better, as this is what everyone sees when they first glance at a forum. That one would probably be a good idea. And I understand, too, that there are some organizational kinks to work through with the tabs. Most of the members like them so far, but there still may be a chance we won't be keeping them because there is at least one member that preferred the old layout and found that format easier to navigate. For their sake, I would like to still keep the roleplay boards separate, but I think I could easily ommit a row by combining the three general-ish ones (this was actually something I was considering anyway). Thank you for their thoughts, they are definitely being taken into consideration

Thank you ^^. And yeah, I can see how that can generate some complaints. It really just depends on how flexible people are as they move between forum formats and such. To be honest, I usually prefer the dynamic tabs if they're set in properly and neatly; easier to navigate, more organized, and less scrolling.

*nods in agreement* I didn't like them much at first, but the gigantic difference in scrolling kind of warmed me up to them
