Juniper sat in her pack with nothing to do. The reddish brown female wolf was extremely bored. She would do anything for something to do. Hunt or just talk. Juniper blinked her gold eyes and looked around. She was the Beta and she knew she had to be doing something at this moment, but everything was quiet. The reddish brown femle sighed and padded to the entrance of the pack and she heard her name. Juniper looked around to see who was calling her.

Ah, the oppressive, thick skin of boredom. Boredom didn't even cover it anymore. Griffen was beside himself with nothing to do, which is hard enough to deal with at any time in one's life, but even more difficult for an adolescent like himself. Kaylee had become solitary, and even when she was around, she didn't like to talk much; the same could be said for his father. He blinked around the clearing, raking its every orophous for signs of life. Finally, his eyes came to rest of the Siverian beta, who was padding aimlessly around the clearing. I could ask her to help me train... The neophyte winced at the thought. His skills were unkempt and dull; it had been a very long time since he'd taken time to train. Reluctantly, and a little intimidated by the beta, Griffen called out to her. "Juniper, are you busy? Would you mind teaching me a few battle moves or something?" He bounded over to her, clearly unsure of himself. "It's been a long time since I've had any good training." He bit his lip and glanced up at her ruefully.

Juniper saw Griffen and gave a smile, "I'd be happy to train you." Juniper loved training and if the male was willing to learn from her than she was glad to give him a few pointers. She nodded her head and said, "Let's go. Be warned I will not go easy on you." Juniper had to make sure not to go easy on the younger wolves because in battle their enemies would not go easy on them. Juniper knew that her enemies would not wait for her to make her next move. They themselves would make sure that she would NEVER make another move. The reddish brown female padded to where most of the training sessions was being held. She sat and waited for Griffen to sit with her so she could talk to him for a bit before she would begin teaching him some battle moves.
((Hey I need Griffen's bio so I can get an idea as to who Juniper is looking at. Please and thank you!))

(( Griffen doesn't actually have a bio cause he was born like...from other characters in context ^^ I will incorporate more description of him in my posts for you. ^^ ))
Griffen blinked in mild surprise at her ready agreement. Well, then, guess she really is that bored. He shrugged his broad shoulders, his dormant muscles wincing beneath his gray, shaggy pelt. "I'm game," he lied. Truth is, I'm probably gonna end up being real sore after all of this is said and done. He followed her across the camp to the small, sandy area where neophytes sometimes trained and sparred. He moved to sit across from her, watching her with curiosity in his amber eyes. He hadn't really seen much of the new beta; Nightshade had abandoned her post rather abprutly. Nightshade had been skilled and honed in mind as well as claw, but he had found his grandmother to have a repelling aura -- Juniper had been much more approachable. And, whaddaya know, I turned a waste of time into something proactive. Go me. But, indeed, as Griffen flexed his claws with a newfound eagerness for the lessen, he knew the skills he was practicing here might make the difference between living and dying when he fought against the demons of Blood Mist.

Juniper turned to Griffen and said, "Act as if I were the enemy. Attack me." The reddish brown female waited for the male to attack her. She just hoped that he would not actually wound her. This was practice and nothing more. Juniper blinked her eyes gently and gave a small smile. She was willing to help train the wolves of her pack if they came to her. It did not matter if they were younger, the same age as her, or older. If they wanted a sparring partner then Juniper was available for it. The female knew that there were also times that she would be too busy to help with the training, but she would train when she could and all were welcome to train with her.

Griffen bit his lip idly. It was a simple enough instruction, sure, but the truth was he'd never really done much else but playfight and kid around when the neophytes took time to gather and train. The battle with Blood Mist had been a nightmare. Still, he woke up from the grasp of terrible dreams, reliving every moment of the gore. So many times, he'd made narrow escapes and lucky dodges. Luck was a fickle fellow; he wouldn't keep you for long. One of these days, it would abandon Griffen when he needed it most and he would be left with nothing but his wits and skills to defend himself. So, yeah, should probably get working on those. He did as Juniper instructed and dropped into a low prowl. His eyes narrowed with determination as he coiled and sprang at her left flank.
