Apocalypse crouched low to the ground…almost cat like as she felt the thick furs of her under belly make contact with the ground. That mysterious discolored gaze focused on a deer that nibbled innocently ahead, though its dinner was cut short as a bolted sprint cut it right off without giving it much time to react. Her body was thrown upon the young mammal and tackled firmly to the ground with a firm grasp to the delicate neck. Fangs pierced the pipe of the animal, making it slowly drown in its own blood. Oh such a horrible thing to do…right? Survival was the definition of it all. She didn’t have the patience of the curtsey to wait for the animal to stop moving, as a large bite was applied to the thigh area ripping a good chunk of it off. Setting aside to eat it, she took precise bites of the meat. In about 30 minutes the small deer was completely stripped a few strips of meat lingering on the rib bones. Shaking her head she licked her muzzle eyeing the area she was in. The Destinian Pack now had a very dangerous…preferably not wanted intruder.

"...and then we just need to get the Yozorans on our side, which should be a peace of cake, and voila we're gonna smash those stupid little Blood Mists back to Hellfire and...." The copper femme took a sudden pause in her methodical pacing. Her entire bodice stilled as she listened to a disturbance in her lands. The alpha had wandered off alone into her territories -- having been cooped up in the nursery or the camp most of the time was making her stir crazy. There was so much that was to happen very soon, and so much weight and responsibility on her shoulders that she'd driven herself into a chronic anxiety. Though fairly paranoid, Fireflight's heightened awareness of the world around her was serving her well; she prowled forward in silence and found herself only a few yards away from an intruder feasting in her pack's hunting grounds. Anger boiled in her gut. Oh, I don't like you! She stood and padded right up behind the she-wolf with narrowed eyes that sparked with spite. "Excuse me, but who the hell are you and what's wrong with you that made you think it'd be okay to hunt in my pack's territory?"

Apocalypse felt her come from behind her and her eyes narrowed with annoyance. Fucking pack wolves and there not it all selves. Ears flickered behind her as she turned to look at the Alpha with emotionless eyes. “I go by the calling Apocalypse. You will have to excuse me for killing your packs feed- but I have been traveling a long term and my hunger caught the best of me” She explained with false innocence, dipping her head lightly to one side. Oh who wouldn’t want to pay to see that?! Who knew the light furred demoness could be so…proper. Oh baby Jesus where were Damien and his nagging four legged rat to see this?! Bicolor eyes looked at the head female coldly, as she said nothing else but waited to be addressed.

The words could've been right, but there was something so utterly wrong about the femme that Fireflight couldn't quite put a paw on. She kept her stance defensive and her features emotionless to the response. There's something so....bitter and spiteful about her, and yet her words are prim and proper, like an undercurrent or something. Oh, I still don't like you! "....right. And I suppose your hunger was simply ravenous here, and yet, you couldn't have held out a little longer to reach, oh, the Blood Mist territory and hunt in their lands? Your excuse is, perhaps, justifiable, but that it doesn't make it likely. You're a grown wolf with, I assume, a fully-functioning sense of smell, which can pick up a border marker. If you were so starved, there are loner lands not far from here that you could've hunted in. I would advise you not to take what you have done so lightly." And the best part is, she probably doesn't even realize I'm the alpha.

Her tongue was bitten down upon as she kept a cold expression on her face remaining emotionless while this female chewed her out. breath, she thought as she ignored part of what was being said to her. Flickering her ears she looked away at a distraction trying to keep her mind under control. “Like I said before…you will have to excuse me, as the pray was an easy catch could not be ignored in my case. I have already taken and find it quite difficult to replace the hunt…so with that I would like to pay my honors back to your pack, by asking permission to stay”, Apocalypse spoke in a cooling manner, and almost as if she had read the females mind she directed this female as the Alpha. After all she had walked this world twice, she wasn’t stupid. By the looks of how she stood and defended this land could only be done by a alpha.

Fireflight opened her mouth to speak, but was caught off guard by a sudden scent on the female that she had not noted before. Immediately, fire rushed in her veins and her pelt bristled slightly. What in hell's name is a hellfirian doing trying to get into my pack?Slowly, guardedly, the flame-furred alpha circled the strange she-wolf with critical, surveying eyes. Her mind was whirring with the possibilities of what this could mean, but she said absolutely none of these thoughts aloud for the time being. They told me Blood Mist would have eyes in the packs. I was under the impression they would try and be sneaky. This has got to be the most blunt attempt at spying I have ever seen in my life. "Really, now? And, I beg your pardon, but just why do you think you have anything to offer my pack that is worth prey half the size of what you took? I don't know who you are, where you came from, or what that foul odor is on your pelt, but wouldn't it seem strange to you if some wolf came into your land, took your prey, and stunk like hell?" So this is their attempt at stealth infiltration? Did they honestly think I would fall for such a pup's trick?

Once more she was interrogate and she narrowed her eyes at the female as they asked there stupid questions. Damn them all. “I never said I had anything to offer your pack…though, since when has the thought of trying to offer been a crime?” Apocalypse answered in a proper way a wise look in her cold eyes. “You know nothing about me, and I can say the same about you. There is a lot of strange things in this world that go even beyond our understanding…although I can’t help but notice how unjust this world has become by classifying a simple mistake & scent into a whole new criteria of what one’s actually intentions are”, Apocalypse sighed her ears flickered downward for an emphasis on sadness. Raising her slim paws she dipped her head once more the Alpha respectfully, stepping back submissively to break the Alphas tension. “Just because my pelt lingers with the scent…does not mean that my heart does, dear Alpha”, Apocalypse lied convincingly.

(( Hey OMG I'm SO sorry! For some reason, I didn't think you ever replied, and then I saw this yesterday and was like oops! xD It's kinda overlapping other threads now but oh well ))
She wasn't convinced; not one bit. She must've gone to hell for some reason. I don't know she is, and she reeks of foreign land. A potential threat. Definitely not an ally. She thinks she has me fooled with her pretty talking, but she sure as hell does not. I'll let her think she does, though. Won't be hard -- the way she waltzed in here, she must think she's the best thing this world's ever seen. Well, we'll see about this one. You know what they say; keep your friends close, your enemies closer. "For the time being, you may stay with us. However, I will not grant you the honor of being one of us until you prove yourself. Actions speak louder than words, stranger." Part of her wanted to believe the strange she-wolf. She made all the right motions, and perhaps a few moons earlier, Fireflight wouldn't be so suspicious. Now, in the heat of war, things were very different. "
