(Fast-forwarded the battle till everyone began to leave because retreat had been called in the thread. Plus, we need to get the site moving again. The first couple of wolves are showing up to the camp with their news) It hadn't been that long ago that her paws had been beating down the earth that the war had raged upon. Now they struggled to get back to camp, weary from the onslaught that happened a mere moments before. Wolves had begun to retreat from the Blood Mists and their intoxicating fighting. Now, Sheeran was going to begin to see it's numbers come back, at least what was left. Heat coursed through her light eyes as the fae looked up. The hallows were in front of her. She was finally home. Featherswift sighed as her legs finally gave out from under her weak form. Blood caked her front,, but other than a few scratches and bruises she was alright on the outside. Inside was a whole different story, one she couldn't tell, but her eyes screamed out their puzzlement. "Sheeran wolves, we have started to come home," she managed to say with a weak bark. Her legs finally folded beneath her and she lay in the camp of hushed voices, ready for the entourage of questions and then sleep.

September Stands up and bounds out of the alpha's cave at the sound of the returning wolves. She searched the few scattered wolves looking for her Dallas which she hoped had come home. She noticed the fae as she lay on the ground. “Featherswift!” She bounded with her lithe body to her packmate's aid. Her senses dulled from caring for the fellow wolf. “are you ok?” she whimpered her question as she bowed down nosing at her body which was covered in blood.

The smell of September shot towards her as fae began to approach. Featherswift looked at the pack member and listened to her question. At first, it seemed like she had said nothing at all other than garbles. Eventually though, her mind mulled over the words and the world caught up to pace. Her body was tired, but the real problem was what the others saw about her.
September was nosing her form and she gave a weak growl with a slight laugh. "Don't worry, I'm fine. Most of this blood isn't mine,". It's from another pack member... she thought and so badly wanted to confess, but she kept her mouth closed.
Her growl wasn't on of anger, just annoyance that the wolf would say such a blatant question. Of course she wasn't alright! She had just come from a bloody battle and her mind was wirring nonstop. "Many of the others will actually be more hurt than me. Those Blood Mists were monsters...," she said while looking at September with burning eyes. They had caused her to kill an innocent life and she'd never forgive them. Hades would hear from her soon, along with that stinking Blood Mist fae.
"September, are you okay? Did any of our enemies come into camp?," she questioned with genuine concern.

September breathed a sigh of relief She looked around for others and took a moment to remember. “No, Not that I am aware of and I have stayed with the young ones in the alpha's den.” Her tail swayed softly back and forth knowing that the she wolf was ok. “Have you seen Dallas?” She asked concerned. She knew that she could be just asking to soon but she was really worried.
Kasie padded into camp with a slight limp of her healing fore paw. She seemed to have not been hurt to bad. She was glad to have made it home to her pack territory. Her ears showed no sign of weakness, yet her mind was shattered she had lost so many in this battle. She worried that she would be demoted or worse exiled. The she-wolf had just recently acquired her position in the pack and hoped she would be strong enough to keep it. She scanned the camp and took in the site of her home. Everything seemed in place she assessed noticing the fae September she relaxed a little at least she seemed to be at ease yet she looked to be looking for some one in particular. Fear set in worrying that it could have been on of the fallen. A small guilt pinged in her and she went to take in the center of her territory.

Missing stood up. It's been a long while since she was taken from the Blood Mist. She gained most of her body weight back, but was still skinny that you could see her rib cage, but a lot better from the time (that I rped with her) Dallas and Coop found her. All the vegetarian wanted to see was that it wasn't just voices in her head. She had been getting bad dreams ever sense the incident, strange dreams they were. One of them being her running helplessly in the Blood Mist territories while the Blood Mist just stood there, watching her. They weren't doing anything, just standing there, watching her. Miss didn't really talk a lot since she was found, it was just that. Didn't want to talk about anything, still a bit shocked still, but mainly recovering. She would wake up in the middle of the night when she hears someone sneeze or twitch or just adjust. It's been better though.

(Featherswift, I love you xD )
"Ashlyn! Wake up, wake up! They warriors are coming back!" Everett prodded his sister awake in the sleeping dens. How had she managed to get to sleep, anyway? He couldn't be mad at his sister, though; she had stayed up all night keeping watch for the warriors with him. Only Golden Wolf knew how much sleep she got these days. Sighing sadly, he stopped prodding her, though she was still fast asleep. Looking at her tiny gray form as it rested in the nest of fur and feathers, Ashlyn looked so peaceful. He hadn't seen her peaceful in moons. He turned away from her and went to greet the warriors himself. As soon as he saw them, his heart sunk. His eyes began to well up with tears. Ashlyn wasn't okay...but neither was Everett. "F-Featherswift...." Where's Winter? he wanted to say. Where's my Mother? But he knew the answer. She was dead -- or as good as dead. He knew what happened when wolves went missing nowadays -- they were taken by Blood Mist. That's what'd happened when Missing went missing. But they had all been there, fighting Blood Mist -- surely they would've rescued her.....that is, if she was even alive to be rescued. The young neophyte swayed on his paws, and fell to the ground in a heap where he weeped in misery.

An eternity had seemed to pass since his paws had tasted the softer soils of Sheeran territory—or bloodless soils in general, for that matter. But with a low groan, Coop finally heaved his sore limbs into the camp, barely lifting his head. What could he say, other than that he was alive, despite the slices and bruises that interrupted the flow of his golden fur. He limped to one side of the camp, panting like a madman, and angled his ears for any sound of their leader’s return. Or, more importantly to him, the sound of his brother’s return. Where’d you run off to, Dallas…? Coughing, Coop shook himself, briefly acknowledging that he did not look his best for the ladies before he slid onto his belly. His eyes glanced around the clearing, briefly hearing someone mention Dallas’ name—he was too distracted to identify who—before finally settling his gaze in Missing’s direction.

Kasie stood tall as she looked at her arriving warriors. Pride swelled in her chest that they fought so strongly and with very minimal casualties. She began a head count of her pack as they slowly filtered into camp. Her fears seemed to quiet as she took up her duties. Her body ached for rest just as all the others bodies probably did as well. Her eyes showed a sliver of her pain but most of it was carefully masked.
September sighed looking over the flood of wolves returning spotting coop and seeing no sign of Dallas. She began to pace to and fro her ears searching the crowd for any sign of him. She seemed to grow tired she plopped her body onto the soft ground placing her maw on her forepaws. If he wanted to see her he would be able to find her easy enough she concluded.

Solaris trickled back into the camp amongst the other wounded and weary Sheeran warriors. Exhaustion weighed down on his ebony shoulders. His fur, once sleek, was matted with blood. There was a deep gash across his left shoulder that still oozed with every motion he took, thus resulting in a painful limp. The dark warrior bit back his pain and said nothing; he knew there were others that were hurting far worse and required more medical attention than he did. And then, of course, there was the beating each of them had taken to their insides. Twilight knows if anything will ever be able to repair that...His tired gray eyes rested on the young leader, who sat amongst her warriors. "Kasie," he woofed hoarsely, "What are we going to do now? Three out of four packs fought against Blood Mist and we lost. What does this mean?"

Kasie looked over her shoulder at the warrior. She thought for a long while and then responded to the question asked. “We rest. Then prepare for whatever comes next.” She answered still unsure herself. Her eyes searched for the healer seeing if she was notified of their return. “Once we have healed some we start training sessions.” she concluded.

(Nighty will bring Lilly Pad later)).
Missing watched Coop with worried eyes and once he hit the floor. She walked to him and laid down in front of him, hopefully wouldn't mind her company in trying to make him a little better. "You're gonna be better, yes?" She asked. Miss is an adult now practically, so is her sister (obviously). It's been kind of awkward with Coop and Miss now, she still have feelings for him but it's been off lately due to other mishaps in the past, but she cares. She does care.

To his surprise, Missing rose to her paws, and approached him. Coop glanced up, too exhausted and aching to offer his typical witty (or what he believed to be witty) comments. Tensions had been a little high between them, especially with Coops noncommittal nature… but, for the time being, he was too tired to make a fuss. Glancing up, the golden brute smiled. “Yeah, yeah… I’ll be fine… just so long as this all gets fixed up.” He nodded to the gashes, already beginning to exaggerate the pain in hopes of a sympathy vote. Not that he was acting this way on purpose, mind you—it was just his nature. “Hope they don’t have to take a limb off, or something…” Still, he was secretly glad that Missing decided to stop by, and was even more privately worried why Dallas had not yet shown his face.
Although having avoided the most brutal of wounds from the battle, the Beta limped into camp with drowsiness wearing heavy on his paws. Fortunately for them, the entire pack had not gone off the fight the hopeless battle, and the half that had managed to keep the body count to a favorable minimum. But it was not a victory; that was for sure. Blood Mist had hardly been dealt a scratch—he hardly imagined how the rest of the Sheerans and the addition of the still-wounded Yozorans would have even made a difference. Milo found himself glancing at Everett as he passed, and he bowed his head apologetically to the grieving neophyte. Finally, Milo reached Kasie, nodding respectfully to the Alphess. “Kasie,” the Beta began, “rest and training sessions sounds like they’ll do us a lot of good. But perhaps we should also consider meeting with the other packs after we’ve begun to heal? With a disaster like that…” His eyes trailed toward Everett once again. “…we don’t want any repeats.”

The young alphess looked at her over to Beta and listened to hear his opinion. Liking what she heard she nods. “Thank you I agree. Should I call the pact to attention and announce such?” She asked still feeling a bit lost. The battle had thrown her way off her game.
September lay worrying about Dallas. He should have been back but he was no where to be seen. She simmered in visible fear as she though of all the things that could have happened to him. She tried to calm herself as she began to breath erratically.

((Sivvy, I love ya too!))
Featherswift looked at September and shook her head in answer. No, she hadn't seen Dallas or heard from him. Coop was fine, but Dallas was a mystery. She watched as the warriors trickled in and was glad that the Alphess and Beta showed themselves to their pack. Having new leadership unnerved all of them a bit, but at least they were trying, at least Kasie was keeping calm after pure hell.
Everytime she saw the insides of her eyelids she saw death and pain and hate mingling into one face, Winter. When a young voice piped up next to her, she almost yelped. Her body tensed, but relaxed when she realized it was Everett. The neophyte called her name, but broke off before asking anything. She knew immediatly what he wanted and she felt horrible. He wanted to know where Winter was. Featherswift trained her eyes on the young wolf with sympathy. "Your mom is missing," she said lowly knowing full and well where Winter's body was.
If only little Everett knew just how close his mother was, her blood part of the mixture staining Featherswift's body. The thought made her want to puke, so she trained her attention elsewhere, towards her leader. Her tail flicked Everett's body though, hoping to give him strength. She hadn't killed his mother for simple murder. It had been that Blood Mist's fault, she had made her do it.
Her ears heard Kasie talk to the beta and she waited for them to announce where they were supposed to go from here.

Solaris' ears flicked as he captured a bit of the words shared between the alpha and beta. Of course, a Moonless Meeting! There hadn't been such a meeting since the arrival of Blood Mist, which effectively put a bloody stain on the old, once-treasured tradition. Then again, Moonless Meetings had a bloody past in general, and not just in relation to Blood Mist; though meetings had turned into battles with the evil pack before, one unique instance that stuck in his mind was the murder of Destiny at the first meeting in the new territories. The last great leader from the lands by the Mirror Lake had been killed by her own daughter in a strange turn of events that may or may not have been accidental. While the mention of such a meeting stirred a sense of foreboding in his gut, Solaris could think of few alternatives. Though they sometimes led to bloodshed, the meeting may also foster unity -- especially now that it appeared the Yozorans were splintering off from the typical four-pack alliance against Blood Mist. The black warrior could think of no other alternative that was worth trying as much as the meeting. It's worth a shot. We have to try.
Everett trembled as Featherswift's tail swept over his spine. Goosebumps stood up across his skin at the touch. Why don't I believe her? He didn't really want to know the answer to that. He didn't want to know the truth anymore. The truth was probably so terrible that this was the best way. He swallowed hard, blinking back burning tears that threatened to break his calm resignation. "Thank you, Featherswift," he murmured hoarsely. The warrior was doing him a service in keeping the truth hidden, if it was indeed how he believed. It must've been terrible, how she died, and how they found her... He shivered once again, but forced such horrible thoughts away. He forced himself to sit down besides Featherswift and look to Kasie as the other warriors did.
