There had been an extremely long period of time in which there had been nothing. Not to say that things had been boring, or bland, oh no. There had quite simply been nothing. No light, no sound, no feeling, no sense of existence what-so-ever. A point in which one is trapped in darkness, but as one has no sensation at all is not aware of this, nor the passage of time, or even that anything at all had happened since they'd last been alive, or in Hellfire, as the matter may in fact be.
And, in this particular case, was.
The figure of a large white thing fell from several feet in the air directly into the center of the Destinian camp, and lay there, much in a lump. Looking generally pristine, as if there had been no death - after the initial death and reincarnation - the Hellfirian male rolled over onto his stomach, testing his legs with the jerky, uncertain motion of a newborn pup who half knows what walking is on instinct, but has no one there to help him figure it out. It might've been funny if it hadn't been so fucking out of place. He was not yet aware of where he was, or, well, of much anything really.
Ashur focused on making his legs work, and hoped he wasn't anywhere particularly dangerous. How unfortunate.

From the healer’s den wondered a young Fea. She looked to be about neophyte maybe a bit older. Her fur was light due to the summer weather. Her fur ashen grey moved as she did. Her Silver blue eyes searching camp for the anything to do. Her tail flicked at the sight of some one struggling. She moved forward, “Hello?” She said cautious. “Are you hurt? Do you need help?” She stepped closer not knowing the wolf she felt a little hesitant. The healer’s inner self kept moving her to the wolf in need. The camp center was empty at the current moment but that could change with a single howl or any moment.

I wonder why my legs are so off- Freeze.
Every joint, every muscle, every fiber in his body seemed to seize and tense up at once. His senses were a little bit off from floating around in nonexistence for several moons, and though his hearing had been working just fine, smell had only just occurred to him. And it hit him like a blast of water from a hot spring. Fuck. Fuckfuck. Fuckfuckfuck.
With the extreme hesitation of one who is perfectly aware that he has fallen directly into the belly of some place where he really doesn't want to be, and is probably going to be outnumbered rather quickly, Ashur brought his stare level with the other wolf. Now what do I do? .. Well, I suppose I should figure things out first. He cleared his throat. "Where am I?"

Whisper stepped close worry clear in her face. "The Destinian Camp." She bowed down within reach of him. "Let me help you." She offered still unknowing of this wolf's origins. What did origins matter, he must be here for a reason right? She tail swayed in a friendly manner. “I am Whisper, The healer.” She began to assess his ailment. “I know what you need to heal, her ears perk.” She looks at his movements. “Although it may take a day or two for the effects to fully set in.” She warned him. “Or, a month of these erratic movements.” She told him the dangers of his small ailment ant motioned to the.

The cobwebs of having been dead washed away, and the ability to use his limbs, and senses, finally returned properly. He stretched, much in the way a tiger stretches when it has just woken up from an exceedingly long nap, and dragged his claws along the earth. When he was satisfied, and all muscles had been experimentally tensed, shoulders rolled, neck sort-of cracked, he turned to her once again. This time, he had the presence of mind to size her up, determine how threatening she was, and get his bearings. Destinian camp, eh? Could always be worse, I suppose.
Without further consideration, he looked at her the way a charming old man might an equally old but not nearly as interesting lady. He was wolf in the way that Verlust had once been wolf, and that was not the kind of creature you wanted to be around. Regardless, he seemed eerily cool, collected. "I am fine, but the offer is most appreciated." He turned in a circle, checking to see where the exit, or exits, were and who was around. "Have you seen a male named Lust about recently? Or perhaps the lady Babylonia?" This will get me in hot water. I do not care.

"I would not speak the she wolf's name to loud." She said taking several steps back. "But no i have not seen them. Babylonia, I have not seen her in a long while." She said knowing she was in the camp's Holding den. Her tail swayed still. " I Can show you a way out that you won't be discovered if that is what you wish." She says lowering her head slightly frightened by his sudden recovery.

Ashur raised a brow, as if to say 'Are you fucking serious?' and eyed in a much more unpleasant manner. That is not to say it was vulgar, more as if she might make a decent snack later on today. The moment, of course, passed. He was fully aware that playing the big bad wolf would get him nowhere in enemy territory, and even more aware that she was lying. Hellfire had not destroyed his sense of smell, and she lingered here, though perhaps faintly. How long ago it had been, he could not tell, but it was there, beneath the mask of Destinian. Vaguely, it occurred to him that, hadn't his son Euphrates joined this pack some time ago? Interesting indeed, interesting indeed.
Now he let his posture shift into one that wouldn't frighten her, so as to avoid having ten brutish proeliators bearing down on him at once, and took enough steps forward that they were a comfortable distance away, but could speak in more hushed tones. "Now that's no way for a young lady to behave, lying to an elder wolf, to the father of one of her most esteemed packmates, the grandfather of his pups. I'm sure Euphrates would be ashamed to know that his pack's Healer had been so foolish as to outright lie when the evidence still faintly clung to her camp." It was not so much a threat as it was scolding. Not in the way that one tells off a pup, but in the way that a much wiser wolf looks upon another, regardless of age, and tries to make them feel an idiot for his or her own enjoyment.

Whisper looked at the Brute in shock. “Your-” She said her eyes wide. She bowed her head and apologized. “Please forgive me.” Her tail tucked and she looked ashamed of her actions and inability to see her alpha’s mate in his features. /what was I thinking back talking some one obviously much older than myself./ she mentally chastised herself.

Indeed? In an expression bordering on 'eyebrow raise' coupled with 'sly grin', his stare was not kind. Nor was it particularly accepting of her apology. Regardless, with the stoniest tone possible, he acknowledged her appropriate display of shame - "Of course. Now, if you will oblige to let me know where exactly my mate-" There was a pause, as Ashur took a rather deep breath. "-and pups, for that matter, are. I'd also rather like to meet my grand-kids. Not right, keeping an old man from his kin." He huffed, theatrically. "Not like I ever did anything to this pack other than steal Babylonia from you all."

Whisper’s paws moved to show Him to the others feeling wary of the intruder. Silently she pawed to the holding den. She pointed her nose in the den. “She is in there.” /I am going to get in so much trouble./ She then moved to howl. “Alpha! “ She bayed to see if she could further assist the Mean wolf before her. She has never felt so tiny.

Well, that was easy... I expect Fireflight is going to eat me now if Baby' doesn't do it first. Oh well. I'll just reincarnate, anyway.
With the manner of someone who's thinking 'damn fucking right you do as your told', Ashur gave himself another stretch before meandering over in the direction the Healer had gone. Glancing carefully over his shoulders to ensure this wasn't some sort of sly trap, he shouldered his way half-way through the holding den's entrance. Stopping suddenly to pull out, and glare a glare so cold that it could've frozen a volcano at Whisper. "That's fine. I'd just love to meet my daughter-in-law anyway." Bitch. I'll get you back for that.

Whisper felt the stare. It sent shivers through her body she flinched from the cold stare. She looked at the wolf that easily could jump on her even where he stood. She turned her snout away waiting for any form of backup. She was a healer she didn’t like fighting.

(Since this thread is good clean fun, let's just say it happened before the fire? ) Fireflight stood and stretched in her den. She'd overslept, but she'd desperately needed the extra hours of sleep; for once, she had slept without nightmares sending her from her den. It was a rare thing -- something to be cherished. However, she felt anxious as she padded out into the camp. Something was stirring here; there was a disturbance in her realm. A moment after Whisper called for her, she turned and spotted it herself. A Hellfirian is in the camp....But he was alone, that much was certain. But what in hell's name could he want? For a moment, the the copper eyes of the flame-furred alphess merely met his in a silent challenge or rebuttal. Well, what do you think you're doing here? I already have enough Hellfirians to deal with. Fireflight couldn't quell the nagging at the back of her mind that she should know who this wolf was, but she'd never seen him before in her life. "Greetings, intruder. We're at war with your type right now, what makes you so bold as to step onto our territory?"

Though he was growling quite viciously in the general direction of the pathetic - but smart enough - lump that was Whisper, his outward demeanor was that of someone who has just found a bumblebee buzzing in an irritating fashion upon his or her shoulder, and wishes to dislodge it without getting stung. As he had already been discovered, and wasn't particularly worried anyhow, Ashur was more than comfortable meeting the stare of the apparent Alpha - Euphrates had done well; she was certainly the right kind of wolf for one of his sons. He might've been a sly, harsh old bastard, but Ashur' certainly held all of his pups in high esteem, and would have been, quite simply, disgusted had Fireflight been anything less than what she in fact was.
Seeing as they were within fairly close proximity, Ashur let himself lean back into an almost sitting position. Not one that showed he was particularly comfortable at the moment, but more-so that he wasn't afraid. He was never afraid. "Ahh, so you must be the not-so-new daughter-in-law. Good to meet you." Raising a paw slightly, he made a motion in the general direction of the camp as a whole. "My dear, 'bold' had nothing to do with it. I simply reincarnated in the middle of your camp. And since I was here anyway, I figured I might like to meet my grandkids, and perhaps see how my newest litter is doing. I raised Euphrates well enough, but I was never around much after that."

Fireflight blinked back at Ashur, absolutely dumbfounded. Well, didn't see that one coming. Indeed, Ashur really had seemed quite absent from his children's lives, or at least as far as Fireflight could tell. Since they all seemed hell bent on destroying her in one way or another, she was rather surprised she hadn't encountered Ashur sooner. Maybe he tired of Blood Mist, just like Babylonia. Not tired in the sense that he'd suddenly decided to redeem himself, of course. She doubted Babylonia would seek such things, either. "Babylonia and your newest litter are Destinian Captives," she told him flatly, eyes giving way to no emotion whatsoever. "You have a choice, Ashur. If you wish to stay with them, you'll have to submit and become a captive as well. As of now, the pack has made no formal decision on what is to become of them. Or, you can leave now. I won't attack you, I won't send warriors after you. But you may never return, on pain of how ever many deaths it takes for you to get the picture." To Fireflight's credit, she managed to keep any edge of rudeness of disdain from her voice or features; merely, she didn't mess around while handing him his options. I wonder how Euphrates will be now? All giddy and bitching at me for being suspicious of his family. I'd be a blithering idiot if I didn't suspect anything at this point.
