Well, this was a bit of a pickle, indeed. He had to admit, her composure was impressive. Most wolves would've at least gaped for a few moments, if nothing else. It mightn't have been a stretch to say, believe it or not, that some weird, father-in-law part of his head was proud of her. Personally, he had no beef with Fireflight, or her pack, or anyone, for that matter, and therefore didn't quite give a fuck who was at war with who, or what that Blood Mist lot were up to. Therefore, the weight of his options was, in his mind, rather unbalanced.

With a noncommittal nod, he turned to look around the camp, then at the entrance. Towards the Healer, at Fireflight, and then into the den where a good portion of his family was currently resting. Finally, he turned to the alpha once again. "Well, to be frank, I don't particularly give a shit about this 'war', or whatever nonsense Blood Mist has gotten up to. But I can see that things aren't going to be friendly here. Regardless, they - and you, whether you choose to accept it or not - are my family, and I stick by my family as best I can." He nodded, almost respectfully, but not quite, in her general direction. "Therefore, I will stay."

It was the strangest thing, speaking calmly with a member of Euphrates' family other than Sumer. With the way things were going lately, she was getting along with Ashur far better than she was with Euphrates. She dipped her head in acceptence of his choice; it was a sign of mutual respect. While Fireflight might hold authority here, she also approved of this wolf. He was the only one out of the bunch that she had approved of so far.
"Very well. Babylonia and her pups are in that den, there," she gestured to the captives' den with her tail. "It will be guarded at all times. You will be allowed out to eat and make dirt, but you will always be supervised, and you may not go together. I'm discussing these matters with my senior warriors, but this is how it will be until we can reach a consensus on what else to do about you all."
