Riley gazed back at her, light, green eyes studying the beautiful femme. She was definitly one of a kind. He only wished she realized this. He wished she realized how beautiful and how amazing she was. He couldn't think of anything else to say, but, "Dashina....you really are something," he smiled again.

She looked at him her eyes never changing. Her orange fur matted as before but still glowed. Her long fur blew in the light wind. Her insignificant LOOKING build was standing upright and tall. She took a step towards him and licked his head. She gave him a swift smile for the first time her ivory teeth glistened.

"Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! C'mere, you!" He laughed, licking her nose with growing affection. "Let's see if you can catch me now, alright?" He giggled again and darted away, hoping she would follow this time.

She smiled a large smile and raced after himm with an amzing speed. She sped up and easily passed him with her elegant run and stopped in front of him. She lept on him and pinned him down easily, but gently. She stared down at him and snarled.. a playful snarl that is.

Riley hit the ground with a small "oof!". He was laughing hard, and it was a wonder that tears didn't come to his eyes. "You caught me!" He woofed his surrender. Suddenly, he flipped her, and it was he who had her pinned. "But I won't go down without a fight!" He smiled, giving her forehead a warm lick.

She did not fight. She lie still and stare up at him with admiration. She smiled a bright smile up at him and narrowed her eyes playfully. She jumped out from underneathe him and sat next to him wagging her tail.

Riley smiled at her, then looked up at the descending moon. "It's late. We should get back to camp....you coming?" He wondered if she'd sleep in the warriors den tonight. Did she sleep there ever? Would she actually talk a little more tomorrow? Only one way to find out. Time would tell.
(m'kay. They can go hunting or something tomorrow, then =] )

She looked at him as if he were crazy. She flicked her tail. His thoughts were correct she never slept in the warrior's den. She slept in the territories. "Well.. uh.. no," she said awkwardly.

Riley nodded, crestfallen. He looked at his paws, still nodding slowly. "Goodbye, then." the words felt so empty, so sorrowful in the cold, winter air. He stood up and slowly shook the snowy dusting from his pelt. He began the long, lonely trek home, occasionally looking back at Dashina with sadness.

She was taken back by his sudden sadness. What was so great about her that he would be sad about this? A wave of sadness splashed over her each time he looked back. A chilly wind went through her thick coat.. chilling her.. yet a wind had not blown. She shivered violently then she raced up behind Riley. She lept onto his back to stop him and she pinned him down.

"Oof!" Riley was pushed over and landed with a soft thud. Suprised, he glanced up to see Dashina. "Change your mind?" he asked hopefully.

This was odd to smile four times in a day but here she goes. She smiled brightly down at him, amusement glistening in her eyes.
"You didn't think I'd let you sleep all alone.. did you?" she said the amusement dancing across her eyes. She licked his muzzle and carefully got off of him letting him free. She wagged her tail excitedly.
