Raku smiled.Cotninuing on with the sane determination as before.Pelt rippled in the light.

Akane pricked his ears. His red fur bristled. "Well no one asked you! What's your name, anyway?" He was laughing inside. Akane was never serious, but he could easily act like it.

Aimi shook her head. "Don't mind my brother. He's just playing with you." She smiled and turned to look at Mist. "Thanks, though. We will talk to her about the alpha." Aimi walked past Akane and brushed her tail across his nose. "Be serious just this once, will ya."

Raku picked up his pace and caught up with Mist."It will be dark soon.WOuld you liek em to go ahead and scout out a den?"The brute wanted to help.It was his nature.

Mist shook her head slightly, careful of Seren as she did so. She nodded to a large gap in the cliffface ahead of them. There was a small woods, too. This would be the perfect place to rest and hunt....

She picked up her pace. It wasn't very far now, and they'd been travelling almost all day....

Raku nodded.Now noticing the gap.He too picked up the pace.But allowed himself to fall back behind her.In an act of respect.

Akane ignored Aimi and ran after Mist. "Oi! We need your help, um, Mist? Right?"

Aimi chased after him. She tried to smile, although she was really worried inside. "Do you know anything about where the alpha is?"

Mist halted as they reached the cliff cave. She set her daughter, Seren, lightly on the ground and turn to see two odd wolves. "Sorry, I don't believe I know your names?" She woofed, not going to let information slide to two outsiders.

Raku halted behind the two strangers.Eying them carefully.The brute was not worried about their presence.But you never know with loners.

"Well," Akane stood tall and smiled. "The name is Akane. This is my sister Aimi. e have been looking for a pack when we met this one wolf. Not sure what her name was, but we are sure she was part of this pack."

Aimi nodded. "Yes. We haven't seen the alpha since we came here."

Raku glanced at Mist.There was no alpha.Rain was gone.Mist had not taken leadership of the pack yet.Raku glanced around.Where was Pure?He had not seen the proxy for a while either.

Azari pricked his ears. It was a resting time. Mist had stopped the pack to speak to two other wolves. Sighing, Ari bent his head and pushed snow off of Nova. The little silver pup gazed up at her father happily, her sapphire pools the same his her father's except the wound that had caused him to go blind in one eye had left his right eye foggy blue rather then clear. A scent came to Ari. He pricked his ears and looked up. Tundra?

Mist glanced at Raku, then nodded. "I believe I've seen you before. I'm Mist, beta of White Mist. Rain has...unfortunately, disappeared from our ranks. We don't know what has become of her or Pure, the proxy. If you'll excuse me for a moment, I need to speak with the senior warriors...." She padded over to a secluded corner of the woods, barking for Azari, Dusk, Raku, and Ember to follow.

"Nova, stay here" Ari barked, seeing Mist's summon. Sighing, Nova nodded and sat back on her hunches to wait. Azari padded over to Mist and flicked his ears questioningly, eyeing her with his only good eye. "What's the matter Mist?"

Maple grunted lightly as she leaped over a gap and nearly fell with Desel in her jaws. She looked around finally todays jorney was over. She carried Basil over to Forest who laid with Owen and Curse. She laid him down softly next to there father and smiled. "Thank you Maple", Forest barked to her. She simply dipped her crown and walked around looking for her father.

Dusk watched Mist and fallowed her quietly.

Tundra nudged Desel foward. "Come on my darling...where almost there", she whispered to her son. "But ma...im tired...", he woofed and looked at her squarly. "I no love. But where almost there", Tundra barked kindly. The fae was none as a cold soul...she was...but she had a soft warm spot for her family...and always will. She was father behind of the pack. Up ahead she could see the wolf figures starting to settle. Her heart raced. Home.

Raku followed Mist.Carefully keeping one aud perked in the direction of the two loners.He would take no chances.Not with pups in the pack.
