Black Mist & Grey Mist {The Voyage Continues}

[Destiny]

Destiny was now among the Black Mist wolves.Tiredly she wove through them.Two of her pups still clinging to her back fearfully.The alphess auds drooped and her tail nearly dragged the ground.She was beat out.The femme looked around for Night.Finally she spotted the other alphess by standing on her hind paws.There.In a small huddle of wolves.Stiffly,tiredly, Destiny continued weaving through the Black Mist wolves.

Svel,Aliya,Melody,Sothis and Kiari strood together.The Grey Mist wolves waited for New Moons command.Which New Moon would get from Destiny. New Moon's auds were perked as she waited and watched.

Sirius bounded behind them with Skysong held in his jaws, followed by Silver and Bluefrost. The two femmes had offered to keep an eye on Skysong but Sirius had said they would need their own strength to keep going. Carrying a pup would hinder them further. Finally they reached the BlackMist wolves. Sirius slowed and finally stopped, silver eyes gazing around. He spotted Aliya in a huddle of GreyMist wolves standing a little ways off from the BlackMist wolves. Sirius padded over to them, leading Silver and Bluefrost. He spotted New Moon and supposed Destiny had gone to look for Night, the BlackMist Alphess.

Tumbleweed and Illusion approached the Black Mist and Gray Mist wolves. Tumbleweed spoke first. "Can we travel with your pack, please? We don't know the way."

Light approached the two wolves. "You are loners, correct?"

Riege was glad for a chance to rest. He'd kept quiet most of the trip, running beside Ebony or just running on his own near the back of the pack. Now the pale grey brute sat panting slightly as he looked around. GreyMist was nearby which was probably a good thing since BloodMist was getting closer. His ears pricked when he heard Light speak. He saw another pup beside an adult wolf, probably her father but decided he would see who they were later if Light accepted them.

Tumbleweed nodded. "I'm Tumbleweed, and this is my daughter Illusion. We'll hunt for ourselves, and I could help with medicine."

Light nodded thoughtfully. "No problem. Sure. Just be sure to keep up."

Riege watched Light approve the wolves curiously. One of them smelled like herbs. A lone healer? Riege hadn't seen one of those in a while but he could bet the two BlackMist healers could use some help with so many wolves around nowadays. Since it was winter, diseases were common. Riege was one of the more recluse and darker wolves among the pack but managed to cast a slight smile at the newcommers before looking at the coldfaced mountains around them, contemplating what their home beyond this place would be like.

Stephen was watching the healer doing the great healing when Star was laying there in the cave. Kunai was right beside his guardian when the healer finished her work. The wolf walked by the healer."Thank you,' He told her.

Luna padded alone silently. Green gaze looked on foward. She walked alongside with Appocalito. Her crown shot up at a familar scent but all was gone before she could tell what it was. Flickering her ears foward she searched the crowd for Ebony. Now that both packs where traveling that sure did expand the place. She let out a light yelp and waited patiently.

Midnight was close to the pack. Her pitch black lean bodice moveing easly over the snow. She shook her head and scented Grey and Black Mist. Her heart twisted feeling joy. Family she thought.

Avalanche lowered his head. "More wolves are coming. I wonder if we're moving as soon as everyone comes." He turned and walked away, going back to the same spot he was at before. He sat down with his ears forward and looked towards the mountains. Always at the mountains...

Axle watched his father go and yawned. He was still tired from being awake all night trying to be on guard. He did not go back to the dens, though. He was really curious to see how many other wolves would be coming. He never paid much attention to the Gray Mist wolves.

Moon remained with Nezero as the pack came to a rest. Her ears pricked when she heard Luna calling for Ebony. As far as she had known Ebony had been traveling with Luna though in this vast crowd of wolves it was always hard to keep track. What did catch her interest was another scent lagging. Moon dismissed it, thinking instantly it was just a stray wolf taking their time.

Ebony pricked his ears when he heard Luna's yelp. He had been resting near the front of the pack, running with a friend in GreyMist, Silver, a wolf he'd met once as a loner. Rising to his paws the brute padded toward Luna. There were small cuts in his paws from the ice he'd been running on, leaving small spots of scarlet behind him as he ran. Ebony smiled when he saw Luna, his honey-toned orbs showing their constant effection for the fae as he drew closer to his mate and son.

Midnight picked up her pace, this time she was sprinting. The coldness of the harsh winter treating to tare up her pads but she did not care. She saw them...them her pack! She flickered leaped over fallen snowed on logs. She saw Moon her unmistakable sister. "MOON!", she called tho she was still distant from the pack. She could barely be heard. Nobody would ever notice her...but she knew that one wolf could....that wolf being Moon. They always shared a close connection since birth.

Luna was on the other side from Moon and Midnight. She saw Ebony and shook frozzen ice away from her pelt. "Ebony, how much longer are we going to be traveling?", she asked him walking up to him touching her nose to cheek softly with affection. She knew soon enough as winter will be over...once more she would be able to have pups.

Ebony smiled softly. His mate was growing weary of travel and he couldn't blame her. Ebony licked her cheek lovingly, trying to reassure her. "Not much longer love" Ebony promised softly. "Not much longer." Ebony knew he had no way of promising her that but still, Luna needed the hope that they're journey was almost over. Everyday of icy travel had to have some purpose or they would all loose hope.

Moon's ears pricked. She heard it. A voice in the wind. Moon's sightless eyes turned, gazing the horizon though her misty blue eyes saw nothing. "Midnight?" Moon murmured softly, the sound lost in the wind. No. Midnight had run off or been killed. Luna and Ebony had greived for her. She was gone. Midnight wasn't alive. Maybe GoldenMist was sending a sign? It seemed unlikely. Moon rose to her paws, her slender, lean ivory form lost in the blowing snow, only her misted blue eyes visible.

Luna brushed her dark caught against Ebonys pure one. She nodded. "My paws are frozzen", she hissed under her breath as she looked up ahead. More to feed with a thicker pack....she sighed and shook snow from her ears. It was part of life and thats the rule.

Midnights unmatched orbs locked on Moons. Even tho her figure was invisable she could see her ivory sister. Her hopes died down with every stride of her sprint. Moon had not heard her and everytime she tried to go faster the pack diffrent away quicker. She stopped and watched them for a while. "MOON!", she howled into the air bring her whole ringing notes into the air. She lowered it her amber and green gaze looking at the two packs pleadingly that she would anwser back.

"Midnight" Moon murmured. The ivory fae started running. She was running blindly, literally. She was following instinct but had no way of knowing if Midnight was really there or not. The scents of ice and snow drowned all wolf scent and made Moon blinder then she was on a regular basis. Moon skidded to a stop, halfway between Midnight and the packs, trying to decide. Go forward or go back? "Midnight?" Moon barked uneasily, swinging her head from left to right slowly, trying to find some scent, ivory auds pricked.

Ebony's ears pricked. He had thought he heard something but decided it was only the wind. Topaz orbs moved back to Luna and he smiled, lifting a paw and showing her the cut on his pad. "You're paws are frozen? Mine are stinging like hellfire."

Kunai pricked his ears when he heard someone said Midnight so the other black pup must have followed them over here. The abandoned pup shouldn't really intrude when someone hasn't seen another wolf in a really really really long time so the pup just sat there next to him injured guardian. He watched Stephen thanked the healer right after the healer did her work.
