Are you searching for long lost landscapes Lit by flowers and crystal cascades? Remus's sooty grey form could be seen between the thick shadowed trunks of the towering trees making up the woodlands. The sound of his paws beating in a steady rythem was like the sound of a drum beating while the wind whispered her song and an owl hooted in the trees. Leaves crackled and rustled dryly as the brujo ran, brown-green eyes looking through the darkness and guided by the moonlight cut into a splattered pattern by the few leaves clinging to the winter-bare branches. Finally Remus began to slow his pace, nearing the edge of the trees. He burst from the woodland into a vast open moorland that stretched back to the Ever Winter Mountains. Remus slowed his pace steadily until he came to a hill. Stopping on the crest of the hill, Remus looked around at the barran, open moorland. The glittering white of the snow reflected the moonlight and painted a beautiful picture of endless white spread before the sooty brute. Remus looked up at the moon. His breathing had a raspy edge to it because recently, hintings of illness had clung to the brute. He had hidden it from Remy and now was hoping to find some prey or maybe even company while Remy was off with Lluvia, a fae they had rescued from a slave-brute named Grit. Where the lamb lies down with the lion Where the wolf is one with the wild

The beautiful black fae sprinted up the hill. She skidded to a halt as she saw a figure with her one good eye, and heard rasping breaths up ahead. She cautiously walked foreward. "H-Hello?" she whispered, barely audible. She cleared her throught. "Hello?" she woofed, stronger and with more authority. Her white eye flashed with hostility.

Run, wolf warrior, to hide your hunger The rain will wash away the pains of the day Remus turned his head when he caught the sound of paws. He caught sight of a fae with a rather unusual appearance, not that Remus was one to judge. She had a rather short tail, a misty white eye and a lovely black coat. Remus flicked his ears in her direction and drew in a deep breath so he'd be able to speak calmly. "Hello femme" Remus barked, managing to keep a rasp out of his voice. Remus wasn't sick so much as recovering. A long run hadn't exactly been the best idea, now he just wanted to catch his breath. Company was more then welcome however and Remus managed a friendly smile, ignoring at the fae's look of hostility. He wouldn't show hostility unless driven to it which for Remus, was almost impossible. In your eyes there are cold fires burning Tongues of flame that can never be tamed

Munashii's look of hostility vanished. She walked up the hill warily. "Hey." she greeted. "I'm Munashii. You are?" She glanced over the brute. He seemed nice enough, and she could tell he was sickly. He would be of no harm. If he was... she would have no trouble dealing with him.

Run, wolf warrior, through kingdoms' chaos Senseless cities and ghost towns towering "I am Remus" Remus replied, inclining his head politely to the femme. "You have a lovely name Munashii, very unusual." Remus smiled in a friendly way though he could tell the femmora was wary. Remus didn't blame her. Many loners acted the same way and couldn't seem to understand that there were kind souls in the world, even if they were few. Remus and his brother Remy had been raised by a kind mother and knew what family meant. That was why they had turned out so kind, though Remus showed it more then Remy did sometimes. Remus looked up at the moon. "Ah a lovely moon we have tonight, no?" he said in delicate tones. Howl, O hunter, though few know you're crying Face upturned into that midnight moon

Munashii nodded. "Really. Siveria has been looking out for us lately. Beautiful weather. Not too extreme, but still winter. It's my favorite season."

Are you hunting for mystic mountains Where the air is like liquid laughter?
"Really?" Remus barked, some surprise hinting in his tone. He'd never really paid much heed to season goddesses. To him, weather was weather but then again he decided best not to say anything just incase this fae was a serious follower of the seasonal goddesses. "Why would that be?" he asked curiously, looking to the fae with his head angled curiously. As far as Remus had been aware, winter was a rough time for wolves, it always had been for him and Remy. It seemed unusual that there would be someone who thought of winter as their favorite season. It was always so barren and cold, sometimes with snowstorms every night though this year it seemed whoever controled the weather had decided to go light on them. Few wolves liked winter but Remus knew there must have been a reason for Munashii to like winter enough to call it her favorite season. Where the beasts inherit the earth Where the last again will be first

Munashii could sense Remus's suprise and curiosity. Something she personally had never had. She wasn't one to be curious about other wolves, being as solitary as she was. She smiled."It's so beautiful." She looked around at the snow white, barren landscape. "And it's so quiet. Sometimes I just like to be alone. To... you know... think about things." She looked back at the gray brute. "Which season do you like best? I know you can't dislike them all."

Run, wolf warrior, to ends eternal Through the wreckage of the death of the day "Hmm" Remus murmured, thinking over her question. "I don't hate seasons, I just, never decided on a favorite I suppose" Remus barked finally after a few moments of thought. "No season ever really stuck with me but when I think about it I'd have to say autumn." Remus smiled at Munashii. "I don't know why." Remus shrugged a bit and looked out at the snow-laddened land that spread out around them. Munashii had a point, even if it was barren and cold, winter was a beautiful season when it was mild. Scent of silence under starlight spinning A captured beast within a human skin

Munashii giggled a bit, which was odd for her. "Ah, Thorn." she laughed. "She's good at her job, just a little wacky. Her and Siveria were once good friends. I wonder what happened to change that..." She looked up into the sky. As if in answer to making fun of Thorn's psyconess, a leaf dropped on her nose, topped with a catipillar who seemed to have survived the harsh winter. She shook it off, giggling madly. Again, very odd for a wolf like her. Her white eye glinted with strange happiness, as if it had never shone like that before.

Remus chuckled as a leaf and caterpillar landed on the fae's nose. He didn't fail to notice that she had a very pretty laugh though it seemed to be a seldom heard sound. "Friendships come and friendships go, I focus on the things that last forever" Remus barked, watching the poor little bug crawl on his sooty grey paw. Remus smiled down at the little critter then looked over at Munashii. She was an unusual wolf though Remus couldn't say he minded much. Unusual was always a good thing in his book, he just wasn't creative or outgoing like Remy. He was always the quiet wolf that sat back and watched, getting his brother out of tight spots and out-witting his opponents before blood could be shed. Where the beasts inherit the earth Where the last again will be first

"That is very wise of you, Remus." Munashii commented. She looked back at Remus. She could tell he was a quiet wolf. She liked that. She only wished he would open up more. "But think... what really is forever but a figmint of our imagination? Stupid isn't always a bad thing, you know. Like love. Love is stupid, but we still fall into it. And occasionally, it's better than being wise and not even going towards the hole." She faced him. "Or am I confusing you?"

Run, wolf warrior, to hide your hunger The rain will wash away the pains of the day "You are a wise little wolf" Remus barked fondly with a light chuckle, turning to look at the femme. "Love is something all wolves speak of but you know nothing of until you're faced with it. Until then, that too is only a figment of our imaginations, something for us to cling to like hope and faith. It can come as quickly as it can go or last for eternity." Remus chuckled again and looked out toward the moorland, feeling the cool moonlight shading his fur smoky blacks and greys. "I'm sorry if I'm boring you" he barked apologeticly with a slighty goofy smile. In your eyes there are cold fires burning Tongues of flame that can never be tamed

Munashii giggled. "'Tis quite alright." She glanced at her paws. "I needed some company. I enjoy talking to you." This brute was unlike any other she had ever talked to. He was unusual. And... modest. Truely, Munashii thought all brutes were arrogant, bubble-headed, fae-crazy, show offs. But she admited defeat right then. Remus was... different. But it was a good change.

Are you running down ancient pathways Through this dark and deserted land To where man is once more a child? Remus rose to his paws and streched the stiffness from his legs before sitting back down again. The rasping in his breath was barely heard now but Remus felt oddly tired which he hated because it meant he'd have to leave Munashii's wonderful company to find a den where Remy would be able to find him when he was done helping Lluvia. Remus sighed and once more rose to his paws, coughing a bit. He glanced over at Munashii and chuckled. "Why do I always feel like an old wolf?" he asked, the question more to himself then to her. Remus winked at Munashii and started down the slope. "Care to walk for a bit?" he called over his shoulder, his shadow cast along by the moonlight overhead. Are you running to freedom's fortress By the side of wide open seas Where the wolf is one with the wild?
