HELLFIRIANS VERSUS YOZORANS Burning down neverland Scatter the ashes White lines, black tar the matches!Blood. The image of life and death in a single instance. The juice of your veins, and the cause of your wound. It pulsed through one’s heart and one’s lungs from the moment of conception to the eve of one’s days. But demons don’t shed blood; they spill blood. A melodic drumbeat echoed in the wood, the dull roar of approaching wraiths barely audible over the hum of evening crickets. The target was silently nestled amidst the roots, the Yozoran stronghold cocooned in dark forest. Despite the eerie darkness and the tension of war, the devil spawn had nothing to fear. Really, what can you fear when you cannot die? They swarmed and the drumbeats swelled. It was not a battle, it was a game. Their silhouettes rose in the night with greed for the ambush ahead, and the hour dawned for them to initiate their assault. Dodging the gnarled foliage that obstructed their path, one of the creatures slipped into the camp, assessing her first victim with a keen eye. A black male—his frame heavily marred with all manner of burns and scars—was resting peacefully on the outskirts of the clearing. A single sound roused his interest, and the spark ignited midair. Kill jumped him, the adrenaline rush slamming ahead full force like a runaway freight train. There was a hiss of glee, and self-control was abandoned for the splendor of sadistic pleasure. “Let’s get this party started!” Kill cried, her fangs firmly locking onto the throat of her opponent. Blood shall be spilt tonight! Is this another ‘dead by misadventure’? Tell me what you got, what you really got (hey, hey!)

ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!
Flashes and smears of color danced in the forest; pelts whizzed by with scarcely a leaf twitching in their path. Fluttering cackles whispered amongst the tree branches, but as soon as they sounded they were gone. Until, at long last, they broke with jubilant force into the shelter of the Yozoran headquarters. They had no chance, really, these Yozorans. The poison was already set in the forest; there was no turning back now. It was in the wood, the grass, the leaves -- everything had changed. The universe was a different place. Not a place where a meaningless pack could survive long...
"Wha? What's happening?" Tria was ripped from her slumber as wailing shook the main clearing of the camp. Screechs, howls, snarls, growling -- a battle! Crap! She tore from the den, wide-eyed and hairs on end. They came back, did they? The bastards think they can finish us off? I'll make them pay for taking my family...and Flisk. They'll pay for that, too. "AhhhhOOOOOO!!" She tossed her head back in a battle cry and bounded into a running leap, aiming to ram Kill from the side.

IGNORANCE! IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND! BEING a rouge has it's advantages you know. You could go to other pack's territories and I couldn't careless! I've been following the Hellfirians since they complemented me... sorta about how perfect I was when it had to do with personality and killing. I followed very far behind but far enough that they wouldn't notice me but I could still see them. After all the howls had been called, I practically rushed to get to the fight, or where it should be at. I ran though the hellfirians while woofing, "Umm... hello... hellfirians, tis' the devil himself here? Yeah, I need to talk to him. We're close buddies." She lied. But the Devil knows that though. We’ll rest in our graves Lexington course your veinsShade struggled beneath the bulk of his attacker, shock muddling his senses as Kill prepared the fatal bite. Luckily, some of his Yozoran comrades had quicker reaction times—just as the twin canines began to burrow through his skin, Trianna slammed into Kill’s flank. With a grunt, the fae was knocked off balance. She rolled into a stand, glaring at her newfound foe with an excited gleam flashing across her eyes. Wonderful! A struggle! She rushed Trianna, fairly reckless in her actions and eager to shed blood at the risk of her own livelihood. Well… what livelihood, really? She aimed for the face with her fangs. Shade wheezed, bringing himself upright after regaining his bearings. A feud had spilled over the clearing, to his horror. And more were coming. Time to be useful.Despite his plethora of injuries, he raced forward to the first Hellfirian he could find, and leapt at it with a fierce caterwaul. Deep within the Alpha’s nest, a lone wolf stirred. Cries of agony and delight rang in contrasting synchrony, like a demented lullaby. The ebony wolf lifted his head up and listened, slowly drew himself to his paws, and calmly padded to the entrance of the den. Sleepers can’t just wake the dead When needles and lovers collapse on guilty beds

Ligua growled, shaking off the dust of absentia and roleplayer laziness. They were being attacked. By the Hellfirians.
Yeah, sure, go and think the obvious, Ligua. Now go do something useful!
"To arms!" he roared - to himself, maybe, or to the pack, though they'd probably notice soon enough. "Er, to legs and paws and all that too." He wasn't sure if wolves even had arms, technically.
He plunged headfirst into the battle, figuratively. "Alright, who's coming at me?" His eyes darted around to look for a potential fight.

IGNORANCE! IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND! I sighed as I looked for the devil. Apparently he wasn't there but I'm guessing that he called the time of the battle but too lazy to fight himself. I'd say that's smart if I was part of his mastermind. I watched as all the other packs ran into battle as I ran with them. I was technically not part of them, but it made me wonder though, how do they fight. I'm not going to join them, if I was going to, not yet. I'd rather join them when everyone is either dead or given up, then I wouldn't have to do anything to gain their help if they could do it themselves. I still couldn't believe that they were going to try to conquer one pack at a time, or at least destroy one pack at a time, Normally they would be all for one and win. I guess I overestimated them. Sucks to be them.
After I finally went to the camp. I just slowly walked like a coward around the camp. I saw this brute, he looked like an easy wolf to handle, though I like the tough guys, but you have to start at level one so you could get to the alpha right? So I walked toward the brute. "Umm... hi. I don't know who you are talking to you but I like you already," I said with no less emotion that I would normally talk to the brutes. Plus I lied.

Trianna was thrust from Kill's side, but Shade had time to duck away and refous his attack. Trianna landed neatly on her paws and turned. She burst with a high-pitched whine and claws slashed fire across her face. She recovered swiftly and ducked away from the frenzy of Kill's attacks. Springing into a defensive position, she took up a circling motion around her attacker. "What do you want? Blood Mist is dead forever, they died across the mountains!"
Too fast, too fast, everything was moving too fast! Even the earth between her own paws was a dizzying, sickening sight. The cracked, harded soils of winter was dappled with the precious blood of the Yozorans. Her breaths came in hyperactive spasms. No....no, I can't attack them...no I can't... "C-can't...." She stopped mid-run, though the earth still seemed to soar past. "Yes you can, silly girl! HA!" Snare cackled nearby, deliving a kick of reproach to her rear. "Get a move on! Remember, the more you kill, the more you save. You want your family alive, better kill the rest of 'em, eh?" Neveria recoiled as she slapped her. The idea was blasphemy! Whatever family she did salvage...if she brought them to Blood Mist, they would be tortured, hurt, savaged.... But alive. They would be alive. With a hardened heart and a devilish glint in her eyes, she prowled forward towards the Yozoran camp. I'm not one of them anymore....they may not be my enemies yet, but I can never be one of them. They could be my enemy...
Regulus, as much as his paws relished the feel of crunching bone and deflating pack wolves, held back and watched their 'neophytes' from the rear of the Blood Mist brigade. A small smile played on his lips as Neveria descended into a killer's stalk. We've taught one of them well, at least.

Ligua's eyes darted to the wolf that had just... wait. Where had she come from? She couldn't have come from nothing...
The words reached his ears, something about her liking him already. He didn't trust them. Okay, so maybe he was being overanalytical, like usual. But it was a bad time to be trusting. So he didn't trust her or the words she spoke. A wolf, probably a loner, shows up and there's a battle going on... Yeah, not a good sign.
"If you haven't noticed," he growled, "there's a battle going on. Who are you?" His eyes darted quickly from the Hellfirians he could see back to the wolf back to the Hellfirians. He didn't want to be caught by surprise.
For a moment, he thought he saw Neveria. Odd.

Flisk knew inside he was a traitor. He felt it flowing through his veins. With every painstaking throb of his broken and beaten heart, Flisk could feel the traitor inside him cackling evilly. He walked to the Yozoran camp with the rest of the Blood Mist, his weak body filling with strength. He couldn't help himself...freedom was so close. He had agreed to go and rampage the Yozorans to have a little bit of fun. Of course, being the idiot he was, Flisk had given in to the Blood Mist pack. He was one of them...or close enough at the moment. As the battle lit up, he stood in the shadows, waiting and watching for an old packmate to pick off, feeling incredibly dirty.
Flisk spotted the back of a female. The bloodlust began. His mouth salivated as he imagined becoming one of the free wolves who could roam around and always be with the Blood Mist...a pack of the unbeatables. His vision was flecked with red and he launched himself onto the wolf. As they both tumbled to the ground, he looked into the female's eyes.
"Tria?!?"
Flisk stared with confusion at Trianna for a moment. He glanced over his shoulder to see Regulus and a few other wolves staring at them. Flisk didn't know what to do.
"Tria...I'm sorry."
With that he launched himself away from her with a pained expression and turned on Kill's side. Looking desperate, Flisk worked himself into a frenzy. He was extremely confused, looking back and forth from his new pack and his old love...both emotions seeped through him. And with two emotions of love and acceptance running through him, he knew he had to pick. But the thing was...he couldn't. He just stood there...staring like a mental patient at Trianna.

They lied when they said the good die young!Kill chuckled pleasantly, mirroring Trianna’s motions until they were both following the same circular path. “Whatever you say, kid. Believe what you want. But I scaled those mountains and spilt my blood, and yet here I am.” She smiled cheekily. “In fact, I’m probably even more alive than you are. In any case, we just dropped in to brighten the mood. You packwolves are so serious lately—we figured you’d enjoy our company!”Enough chitchat.Kill lunged toward her foe, lashing out with claws in an aimless frenzy. Not that receiving wounds matters much anymore. But she hesitated, ceasing in her assault as Flisk landed on Trianna. Kill snorted in annoyance. Stealing my fight? How rude!Shade rushed for the entrance, prepared to launch himself on the next Hellfirian that dared invade their camp. Yet, as he searched, a certain pelt caught his eye. He swiveled about, gawking. “Flisk…!?”Macabre slipped into the camp, his eyes seeking an opponent. He swiped his gaze in Neveria’s direction, mildly intrigued with how she would behave, before padding quite calmly into the fray. Bain’s eyes flashed, chaos erupting just beyond his grasp. The reek of cinders flooded the clearing, and there was no doubt in his mind: the Hellfirians launched an assault. How… unfortunate. His skull was tucked away, and he was currently Yozoran Alpha. His duties to the pack outweighed the impact of his psychotic breakdown. For the time being, these creatures were enemies of the Yozorans. His enemies. Growling, Bain raced out into the clearing to join in combat. All the same, this could provide useful insight.Stay with me, Stay with me tonight!

Flisk had still been staring at Trianna, just looking, when he noticed that there were many other wolves in the camp. He glanced around, biting his lip, his fangs glinting lightly as he swayed his head from side to side, surveying his old packmates. A sudden thought popped into his head. How many ever I kill...I save. If I can kill someone...then I can bring Tria back! He knew the instant he came up with it that somehow he would fail anyway, but pushed the thought away and gave Trianna a lasting goodbye glance before pushing away into the fray.
Through the sticky blood puddles on the ground Flisk walked, trailing pawprints of pure crimson. The cold air was just making it worse...it felt hot compared to the icy breeze that was ruffling his coat. He heard someone say his name and glanced over. It was Shade. He let out a small shrug and smiled evilly, letting all the Blood Mist had taught them seep out. Then he spotted Bain.
With a battle howl he realized that Bain was the alpha. Everything had gone bad. And he was going to fix it. He launched himself at Bain, bloodlust running and jaws foaming with rage.

Regulus, Snare, and Crimson leaped into the clearing with the other Hellfirians, looking about for a foe to fight. "Hey, look there -- looks like the young'un's taking us up on our offer." Snare blinked in amazement. "He's challenging the alpha!"
"Uh!" Trianna thudded heavily against the earth. The wind rushed from her lungs. For a moment, all she could do was lay there with her nose pressed to the dirt. Rage boiled in her belly. She prepared to roll and knock her attacker away, but just as soon, the weight was lifted from her shoulder. She sprang to her paws, only for her heart to drop to the ground. "Tria?" "Flisk...." Her voice was stunned, her eyes wrenched wide as they bored into his familiar features. Releif flooded her lungs, but this was not a joyous reunion. He's alive... But he's different. All too soon, he tore himself away. Trianna stood there stupidly, wondering if she'd simply dreamed him up in the heat of battle. So I've finally snapped. I've finally gone crazy... But then, there he was, plunging towards Bain. The alpha. "NO! FLISK, DAMNIT, YOU DON'T GET TO RUN AWAY FROM ME!" She snarled in anger, eyes flickering with fury. So you leave me, and then you expect to get away with it? Oh, I'll get you... Trianna's features echoed Flisk's own as she intercepted his leap at Bain. With wild, savage eyes she pinnned him. "How dare you run away from me!"
Target sighted. She had him locked in her gaze, eyes blazing with the live coals of Hellfire. She'd kill him....kill the weakling neophyte and take Trianna back with her. She was vaguely aware of the scene they were making in the middle of the battle, but disregarded it for the time being. Tria will be out of here soon, Flisk, you don't have to make such an idiot of yourself. Though, might as well get a few snaps at the stupid wolf who pretends he's leader, eh? The Yozorans have no leader....they lost that a long time ago. With a livid battle snarl, she rocketed towards a startled Twig. "Nev--uhh!" She had him pinned in an instant -- too easy! Her former friend lay under her with an expression of agonized astonishment. He would see it in her eyes then -- the coldness, the layer of madness that had settled in a red film over her eyes. "Neveria...please." His tone was pleading. More than that. He spoke in fear of her. She liked this. She liked this very much. With a soft, velvety dark chuckle, she tore apart his gullet and blood sprayed the clearing with crimson.

Burning down bridges now Scatter the ashes Godspeed to all you’re after!Shade stared disbelievingly at Flisk, uncomprehending. The wolf was unfamiliar. He was feral. What did they do to you?He stood, gawking, as Flisk hurtled toward the pack leader. Trianna’s interference, however, was enough to shock Shade back into reality. Pick a fight, damn it!The sound of speech caught his attention, and Shade swiveled toward the voice. Snarling deeply at the sight of Neveria—who was effectively gutting a fellow Yozoran male—Shade lunged in her direction, his jaws parted wide. There was no hesitation now; he was aiming to kill. Eyes thinning into slits, Bain watched as a former packmate charged toward him, jaws slackened and ready for war. So… we are to slaughter our own to win this battle? Trianna prevented Flisk from reaching his position, but Bain still stared at the BloodMist recruit. What else is new?Turning his attention to larger prey, Bain noticed the emergence of three more experienced Hellfirians onto the battlefield. Locking sights on Regulus—and eyeing Snare and Crimson as well—Bain padded calmly forward, a sort of haze hovering over his mind. The sort of haze that always seem to return whenever he donned his other face. Is this a life left just to remember? Tell them who you were, who you really were (hey, hey!)

IGNORANCE! IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND! Well Caption Obvious kinda pointed out the battle for me. I knew that there was one. I just chose to trick other wolves at a bad time. I was never really good at choosing the best times to talk to others but it's better for my audience if I chose a battle scene and pretend to not notice right? Anyways, back to Caption Obvious. "My mother told me that I was never good at planning conversations so this doesn't surprise me. I'm Ignorance, I'll say it a second time if you can't remember. I'm your new best friend who will haunt you forever, I'll be in the back of your mind. I wonder if I have the Destinian scent still, if I do, oh well, neophytes always could forget scents easily," She told him.

Ligua glanced back towards the battle, which seemed to... he couldn't really tell whether it was in their favor or not.
Turning back to Ignorance, he growled, "You're in the wrong camp if you're a Destinian, though we could use some help." He glanced back to the battle. "There's no time for talk now, if you want to talk, talk to the pack after the battle."
He shut his pie-hole then and leapt away from her, charging back into the battle. That is... who was he fighting? He spotted Trianna fighting... wait, wasn't that Flisk, one of the missing Yozorans? Had he been a Yozoran? Had his name even been Flisk? Ligua's mind was a bit confused at the moment.
So they've turned our own against us?... He growled as he realized that he hadn't been paying attention to the battle - a dangerous, if not often fatal mistake.
(Wow, that's a lot of words of nothing.)
