Jolon burst from bushes nearby with a growl. He'd heard the call to arms and the sound of warring wolves. What had he been doing? A patrol to make sure this kind of stuff didn't happen. It seemed the Hell wolves hadn't gotten the memo about where he was at and that they needed to be there for he could chase them off. The smell of blood rose up to him like a monster and in it's breath held smoke. His ears pinned down at it, but he continued to run into the fray. When he looked around he noticed that not only were there enemies of the risen dead here, but their own. Well that's kinda annoying, he thought.
Then his saw blood spatter to the side of him a few paces off. What he lay eyes upon was gruesome and the one that had done it. Neveria. He ran at her with a bark erupting from his throat. That stupid fae had killed Twig. He ran towards her, past the little fray going on with Bain and two pack mates. He barely had time to register the guys face, when he did it almost made him freeze. What was wrong with him? Not even leaping in to help? That made him stop and watch as the male locked onto other wolves. Jolon gave a glance at the two fighting wolves Bain had left and began to run up to his alpha. He was walking towards more than one wolf...not so wise. "Bain, need help?," he asked as he looked at the emerging wolves.

Kill yourself slowly over time Fashion statement suicideThe opposing Hellfirians—the genuine immortals, no less, and not the recruits—were nearing in proximity. Fiery animosity danced between Bain’s eyes, the twin gold orbs shaded maroon in the dim light. He sauntered forward, quiet, calculating, and abruptly interrupted by the emergence of Jolon, who offered his aid. “…if it pleases you to help,” Bain murmured distractedly, his gait slipping into more of a crooked waltz than a deliberate approach. He tenderly squeezed his tongue between his monstrous incisors, staring at the Hellfirians until they acknowledged his challenge. The stir of enemy movement caught his eye as a single male, his scent betraying Yozoran identity, leapt away from an unfamiliar female. Without hesitation, Macabre stepped in to engage Ligua, staring darkly at the wolf while releasing a powerful swipe in the Proeliator’s direction. She’s still asleep in a Chelsea hotel Bad turns to worse, and the worst turns into Hell

( Woo! two pages already? Where have I been? ) As soon as Twig's lifeblood stained her maw, the transformation was complete. Shade rocketed into her side; she was pummeled to the ground, a ferocious chain of snarls streaming out of her. She flailed and kicked with powerful hindlegs, eventually managing to disentangle herself. As she rose, she stared at Shade with a cruel winter gaze, not even the slightest suggestion of recognition in their depths. She made a sudden move forward, feinting to the left before striking at his throat with the thistle claws of her forepaw. "You'll die with the rest of them!" She hissed, venom in her voice. I'll save Autumn next...Regulus, at the rear of the fray, caught sight of Bain's backside. Next to him was another wolf, both of which appeared to be stupidly standing in the middle of the battle without opposition. Well, I guess we'll have to change that, won't we? Smirking, he lunged at the two wolves.

IGNORANCE! IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND! For almost a split second came to me, my ear twitched as there was a wolf, one of those Hellfirians wolves charged at the wolf who I was trying to make him trust me. At least it felt like a split second. If you want someone to trust you, then you'll have to do stuff for them, like... save their life, and then kill them yourself or betray them. I turned around and jumped toward the wolf but what I didn't see was that he already had his claws out, cutting me in the chest. I know that I'm the age of a neophyte, I kinda don't care but I'll live. The force of gravity made me fell backwards but I got back up, plunging myself at the hellfirian. "You can't even let me get that bastard to trust me don't you. Where's your leader, I still want to talk to him or her. Just to say hello if you know what I mean. I am not your enemy, or your friend," I muttered to the wolf quickly in a cold voice. Now that I'm bleeding, I'm just going to add on toward the list of my scars. Fun.

Snare's head lashed about as she scoured the clearing with her crazed battle glare. The smell of blood bathed saturated the clearing in a delicious, war-torn atmosphere. She chuckled softly to herself as she watched Neveria fell the first of the Yozorans. Only one of many that will die here today! The Yozorans will deteriorate right before our eyes....it seems a good starting ground. Kill them off, take their land over, and the majority of our new neophytes have nowhere to run away to anymore....we'll take ou the other three easy as pie! She giggled out loud to herself as the plans played out in her mind. The sight of a leaping Regulus caught her eye. He's going for two birds in one stone? Not fair, I want to have fun, too! She turned and leaped at Jolon.

Jolon nodded his head once to let Bain know that he heard him and would stick by him in this battle. He still wasn't completely comfortable around the male since he'd heard the talk between him and a fae, but Yozoran blood was blood and he was part of it. At this moment they were brothers, differences aside. As the wolves Bain was challenging started to acknowledge their presence, paws stamping on the ground behind him caught his attention. Instantly he turned, jaws open and a growl pouring out into the depths of the wintry scene. "Behind us!," he barked to Bain. Then a fae came leaping up at him, probably the other wolf's friend for all he knew.
The black wolf leapt at Snare with his tail up to intercept her.

Don’t fall asleep… Don’t fall asleep…“Traitor!” Shade snarled deeply. No, not a traitor… just someone else entirely. As the femme leaned in for a vicious assault to the neck, Shade swiftly pulled back. Her claws slid across the skin of his neck—during which a fierce burn blistered his flesh—but he managed to avoid total devastation. Coughing once, the male quickly recovered (adrenaline does wonders), and fell forward, only to push back up with his paws. He aimed a counter blow of his own, reaching a leg toward Neveria’s own face. Regulus caught on, and began to rush him. Bain locked his limbs, staring at the Hellfirian as he grew near. He was faintly aware of Jolon’s cry of caution, but Regulus absorbed his attention. Bite me, then. Standing firm in his single position—like an immobile target—Bain waited for someone to attack him. For someone to engage him. For someone to spill his blood. He slackened his jaws in anticipation, eyeing Regulus, and lifted his forelegs upward to intercept his foe’s lunge. And he attempted to sink his fangs into the throat, simultaneously exposing his own throat as well. Macabre stared numbly as a she-wolf interrupted his advances. The fae then proceeded to charge at him, and drill him with questions. To this, Macabre simply raised an unconcerned brow, and the seemingly mute wolf failed to respond. She doesn’t smell of Yozoran, yet… possibly a rogue. Yes, a rogue. But what is she talking about?Decidedly uninterested in discussion, Macabre felt the female dive at him. Automatically, he responded with another swipe of his own, mildly annoyed with being distracted from his original prey. God save the eyes that dim tonight

Flisk shot through the air, adreneline pounding through him. All he could feel in his young, furry body was the pounding of his heart and the deep desire to save Trianna. As he was about to meet Bain, whom was just standing there staring at him, he was deflected by some force. As Flisk flew through the air he was astonished. Was Bain powerful enough to have his own forcefield? His eyes were full of fascination for a few seconds before he slumped to the ground and heard Trianna's voice, contradicting his forcefield opinion.
Flisk wondered why she had attacked him. She was pinning him down now, demanding an explanation for running away from him. He stared at her dumbly, then looked away for a moment. He looked back to answer.
"Trianna, I'm not who I used to be. Your not going to like me anymore. I'm...I'm...I'm a monster. A bloodthirsty...well...Blood Mist wolf. I belong to that pack now. I'm trying to save you. If I kill a Yozoran, I can take you with me!"
He smiled wolfishly.

Ligua watched in surprise as the wolf he had seen earlier jumped to intercept the wolf that was jumping at him. That's a lot of generic 'wolf's but it'll have to do.
Maybe I misjudged her. Still... He glanced quickly in the direction of Macabre, wondering if he should join the battle. Two against one though. Shouldn't really matter, but. Hey. Wait.
Well, that's about when he spotted Neveria, it was. What? How can that... how can that... He couldn't think for a second. ...Geez, what have they done to her?
Ligua had the urge to turn around and plunge straight at Neveria, but Shade was battling her. ...I guess being her... former mentor wouldn't place me in a very good position to negotiate... would it? Ugh, I'll deal with it. Later!
Finally making his decision, he jumped at Macabre, aiming to sink his claws into his fur or flesh or some body part of significance. Appendix removal, anyone?
And yes, he hadn't noticed Regulus's leap, or Bain intercepting Regulus at all. He hadn't noticed Jolon either. Ligua was just that good at zoning out.

Monster... Neveria's ears caught every word that passed between Flisk and her sister. She wondered if the word should bother her, but she flicked it away with a tiwtch of her ears. A monster in one's sight is an angel in another. We're not the real monsters...these packs are just racist. "Uhh!" Suddenly, she was flattened to the earth. The large weight of a warrior wolf crashed down on her shoulders. Instinctively, she writhed and twisted away, snarling and hissing all the while. "Shade!" She sneered in recognition. "I'm not such a weakling anymore; our neophytes are at the skill level of an elder Yozoran warrior! My skills have far surpassed your own, Shade!" With that, she slashed at his eyes.
The tears were collecting before she even spoke. "F-Flisk..." Her mind was a vortex, spiraling in a kaleidescope of lights and darks. They killed my mother. They destroyed my father. They took my sister, my best friends, and the wolf I could've potentially loved someday. Neveria's alive. Flisk's alive. They came back for me...some of the old them still exists. They still love me. But do they still love Mom and Dad, too? "They killed her, Flisk...." In that moment, Trianna was never more sure that her world had run out; there was no place left for her anywhere on this earth. What was scarier still, she knew that if her father were dead, too, she would've gone with Flisk in a heartbeat. But he still breathed. "It's not pack loyalty that keeps me here Flisk...it's family. I can't leave my father...but I won't leave you, either." She bored her eyes into him pleadingly, begging him to understand. "I don't know who I am anymore...I'm not so sure you'd like me either..." She remembered Bain, and his plot to take back the old glory of the Yozorans. To liberate the people, in essence. It was only anger that made me zealous...anger at everything in the place it is. Regardless of what happens to this pack.... "...I don't think I'm one of them, either, Flisk. I don't know what I am anymore," she confessed. Water trickled freely down her cheeks. What do I do?
Regulus and Snare collided with Bain and Jolon, the sound of crunching bones shattering through the clearing. Regulus turned and landed in a low crouch, eyeing the Yozoran alpha with a challenging stare. Next to him, Snare snickered hysterically. "C'mon. c'mon, let's play, leeeetle wolfies!" She took a hungry snap at Jolon's face, prowling in a circle and cutting him off from Bain and Regulus. Regulus continued to study his opponent. "You're a new one," he commented dryly. "You're just like the others, though."

Looking inside, digging in deep Holding on tight to all that is meReleasing a cry of anguish, Shade withdrew, a shower of scarlet spraying from an eye. Has she blinded me? Did she even hit my eye? Amidst the insanity of battle, he was unable to register anything aside from the burning sensation that tore across the left half of his face. After pulling from her side, Shade swiveled about, snarling heatedly at his former packmate. “You probably don’t know this, but I was also kidnapped as a child…” He launched himself toward her, yelling furiously. “—and I came back stronger, too!”Macabre sighed inwardly, the second brute apparently deciding to ally with the female, resulting in a sharp pain in his… flank? My appendix? Growling a bit, he swerved his attention (and claws) from one wolf to the other, beginning to rise up on his massive hind paws. I need to get paid for this.Smooth sounds churned deep within his throat, the delighted chuckling growing more manic as Bain continued to stare. The Yozoran grinned. “I am new, yet similar? My, what a contradiction. I wholeheartedly invite you to instruct to me on why I am the same as these ‘others’.” He padded closer toward Regulus, lifting his chin slightly. [glow=maroon,2,300] “Oh, you aimless creature… what is death without a statement? I want you to slit my throat. Now do it!”[/glow] No one takes me down No one takes me down

Woah oh, he's getting taller, growing larger, breaking out... er, now that just sounds like some weird dance routine/messed up song lyrics. Ligua jumped back as claws bit his skin - whether intentional or not - and pain streaked down his spine. He also got kind of a shave, but that's not really that important.
As the wolf began to rise on his hind legs, Ligua steeled himself and then dove at Macabre's stomach. I'm not nearly large enough to topple him, I think, but hopefully I'll manage to at least knock the wind out of him.
...This isn't a very good plan, is it?

Flisk listened to his words. Despite his efforts to stop them, tears welled up in his eyes. A large lump formed in his throat and he could do nothing to swallow it. He hadn't glanced away from Trianna yet...the battle around him meant nothing when they were together. His listened attentively, stifling a sob that racked his body. When she was finished, he was left with nothing to say. He knew what he had to do. He glanced at Trianna and whispered.
"...If I kill the alpha...I can bring back two wolves. I can bring you and your father...it would be much better if we were all together...better than it is now...so far apart."
With that, he rolled out of her pin and gazed over at Bain. With a final glance at Trianna, he sprinted toward Bain. Months...months of hate. Months of confinement. Months of fear. Months of emptiness and suffering. These bottled up emotions had been uncapped and they were powering him, giving him the strength to stretch his muscles freely as he sprinted across the ground. They gave him the strength to snarl...to forget how weak he was. Adreneline pumped through him...he could feel his ears throb with blood. And with a final cry of anger he launched himself at Bain.
"Die already you stupid jerk! I hate you!"

A body then collided with his, the attacker, knocking into him him. He tried to hold onto his ground, but his paws slid out from under him and all he could do was gasp as pain shot through his side everytime his heart beat. Quickly, he put his head to his throat to guard and got up onto his paws as fast as he could. Jolon winced as he got into a fighting position. What a stupid wolf for hurling into danger like that!, he thought angerly.
His eyes looked at Bain and noticed that the attack had split up them a couple of inches. Jolon then turned to Snare as she laughed hysterically while saying, "C'mon. c'mon, let's play, leeeetle wolfies!" She then snapped at his face and he recoiled. Snare started to prowl around him and he noticed that it was with the intention to cut him off from Bain completly. Growling with irration at this mad wolf, he prowled around her too. He wasn't going to be a wolf trapped in a circle with nowhere to run. A cry of anger made his gaze catch a glimpse of fur barreling towards Bain. Dang, I'll have to make this quick. Two wolves against one isn't fair, even for Bain's standards, he thought. "Yes let's," he growled and then jumped at Snare's side, his teeth exposed, ready to meet flesh and draw blood.

Snickering to herself, Snare watched, enthralled, as the stupid little pack mutt flew into an enraged little tantrum. Never once did her smile falter, even as he began to mimick her motions. Regardless, he was definitly unable to help his precious alpha. Moreover, it would appear one of those newbie torture things they'd 'napped from these packs a few months back was flinging himself at the leader with a deliciously voracious apetite for the kill. Yes, delicious, delicious! Ahh, Snare loves decent, good blood sport... As Jolon lunged, she pirouetted neatly away, cackling merrily all the while. Her gaze, however, glinted with an onyx glare. "I said play, little wolf! I don't like mean toys, mister. You know what I do with the toys I don't like anymore?" Fresh hysteria glinted in her eyes. She tossed her head back and yowled triumphantly, "I BREAK THEM!"
"FLISK! NO!" Too late. He was flinging himself at Bain -- to his death. All for nothing. Trianna crumbled as she watched him go, distraught, terrorized by what her eyes were showing her. It doesn't matter! It doesn't matter because Crow would never go and I could never force him! No one with a heart for me could force him. But... Trianna's tear-blurred vision scanned the carnage of the battle, catching sight of her brother, Kasparr, and sister, Autumn. Get them out. Get them both out. Neveria....Neva...god, she killed Twig! Our old friend...get them out before they can't go... Because as Trianna watched her father emerge from the warriors den, his eyes set aflame in an agony no wolf had ever witnessed, she knew in her heart of hearts there would be no going for her. But Autumn and Kasparr haven't seen him yet. They can go. They have to go!
"You're just the same as the rest of them because you think you'll win in the end," Regulus murmured simply. His eyes glinted coldly, and then, with a drawling, sinsiter smile, he muttered, "Your wish is my command then, alpha!" His fangs snapped at Bain's throat. Regulus went for the jugular, unware of Flisk flying at Bain above.
