Kasie stopped to observe the battle field her shocking eyes searching. She found the alphesses out in the middle of the battle. Distant from one another but still there. She observed the placing looking for a strategic attack or some way to stop this war. Seeing a young wolf laying dead upon the field. She worried about her packs pups back at camp. Where was Winter? She needed to focus on the now and get these packs through this. She noticed a fairly young wolf dashing across the field. The wolf stopped near an injured wolf. This made her associate the wolf as a healer. She noticed that Link a Destinian warrior was engaged in battle. She moved onto the field her paw falls graceful and full of energy. She looked at the carnage upon the field with sorrow. This needed to stop. She howled her arrival for her allies and a warning to her foes.
Whisper dashed to her companion. The she-wolf lay dead but maybe, maybe she could help. She looked up at Griffen he was so very hurt. “Griffen!” she yipped lightly as she went through her herbs Chamomile would help a little for now. “Please come with me it is not right for you to remember her in this way.” She stood an took steps towards him.
Link dipped his head his snout catching the fangs. He snarled at the connection. He eyes ablaze with fury. He would make him pay for what he did. He aimed paw at Robespierre’s face hoping to get him to free his snot or cause damage to him instead. His eyes began to tear as sorrow invaded his being. He was able to hold them from falling right now but they would fall soon enough.

Griffen felt the frustration mounting again as his alphess seemed to hardly be listening to him. He glared at Gossip, who'd said nothing at all. Looks like he can dish it but sure as hell can't take it. A moment later, Aradis pushed the fallen tree, flickering with flame at the tips of its branches, down the hill towards the fighting wolves. Fear clenched in his belly. What if it hits Siverians, Destinians, or Sheerans? This is a battle we need to win, not butcher! He was shaking when Whisper came to him. Numbly, he nodded to her; yes, he was in terrible, terrible shock and staying in the midst of the fight would only rattle him further. "Can we move her body out of here first?" He asked weakly.
Robespierre let loose a high-pitched snarl as claws tore across his face and left deep, gushing wounds. A curtain of blood fell from the side of his face where Link had made his mark. His grip on the wolf's muzzle held, as Robespierre had buried his claws into the soil to absorb the pain and shock, but it had loosened considerably. This is for your own good, you know.
Fireflight's eyes caught sight of a fresh flood of wolves, their pelts bright amongst those who had already been tainted with the blood of themselves and others. She and Assyria had continued their flurry of blows, even as wolves howled, fires blazed, and a neophyte was pushed to her death. Fireflight couldn't afford to stop for them, now; if she did, Assyria would take the time to make the killing bite. Assyria would be dead long before Fireflight's last life could be taken from her, but she'd already lost one life tonight. In times like these, even when you had twelve, you could never afford to spare one. Their own personal war raged on at the top of the sloped clearing. She managed to send a curt nod of gratitude towards Kasie, but nothing more.
Cora, from the sidelines, watched with wide eyes as a great log came tumbling down the slope. Rushing forward, she pushed several of her packmates out of the way. "LOOK OUT!" A few more wolves were able to clear, but as Cora turned to run, the log rolled on over her and flattened her body to the ground, where she laid unmoving.

Standing and staring at the savage attacking her, Polychrome howled a extremely loud with her snout pointed to the sky. Seeing the warrior in front of her viewing the other warriors coming their way, Polychrome swiftly ran to him and sunk her fangs into his neck. Being feeling like she was loosing her grip, Polychrome slid off and rolled unto the ground. Nevertheless, she got back up again, feeling the wind slap against her face, she ran in a circle around the warrior and leaped unto him again trying her best to scratch his face. Tasting the access blood in her mouth, Polychrome spat out and howled trying her best to win the small battle she was having. her tail whipping side to side and twisting her claws into the tissue, Polychrome tried to hold on, however it was very unpredictable of what was this warrior she was fighting going to do. Jolon listened to everything and a smirk played across his face. Aradis was learning the ways of the packs very quickly. She hadn't even had time to process his own answer. Not that she would even care about a lone Yozoran saving her butt from a Blood Mist.
"Listen to your peers Siverian Alphess. This is a time of a battle, not negotiating. If you wish to talk and figure out the solution due to some other time. Right now wolves are being torn apart and you're not helping," he said evenly. Then he turned his attention to the battle around them. It was chaotic and his own heart strings burst with wanting to stop it too, but it wouldn't help now. Sheerans then poured into the seen and he knew the packs would stand up for each other no matter their stances on other issues. It was a time to band together and burn the scourge out of the land for good.
A pair of wolves was approaching after the Sheeran swarm met his attention. He barked as he jostled towards them as painlessly as possible. They looked worn out just like him, but he wagged his tail in greeting.
~~~~~~~~~~`
Featherswift ran into the fray and immediately smelt the one wolf she was looking for,Arachna. She nudged and blasted through the battle with the intent of getting vengeance for her entitlement. Everything was chaotic, but she swept through it with a few dodges and kicks. A few growls never hurt anything either.
Finally, she had an open trail and noticed it went into a fire wall. Featherswift looked around and found an area that the rain had smothered out. Quickly, she lept through the hole and as soon as her paws met the dank ground, she ran as if she were a bloodhound on the loose. With the howling wind and heat of the flames pushing the scent away from her, she suddenly stopped, unsure of herself. Then a fitful cough welcomed her ears and the hunt continued.
Then before she knew it, the fur of a wolf lay a leap from her. From her raunchy smell, it was Arachna, Queen of Arrogance. With burning eyes, she took a step forward and growled harshly.
Gossip watched the tree tumble down the hill in silence, flinching back as Aradis fell to her belly, crying. He didn't even hear her as he saw what happened below, Cora rushed forward, herding some of her packmates away before she was crushed by the log. "NO!" He surged forward, bounding down the hill with blurred vision. The brute came to a skidding stop beside the fallen wolf, falling to his knee's and digging his nose in her neck fur. "Cora..." He hardly muttered her name, as he was choked up enough as it was.
Aradis watched in weeping silence as Gossip tore down the hill, coming to a stop beside the fallen Cora. "What-what have I done?" She hadn't meant to push the tree down, what had come over her? Slowly, she let her head off her paws so that it rested on her cheek in the ashen grass, the rain pattering around her and dancing on her fur.
(( Grimmy: You're so close, almost there! Just a tiny tweak -- remember you have to say something like "she aimed for his neck" and let Roman react in time (or not) and tell you where she hit You're doing great so please don't feel discouraged, jumping into battle right off the bat is extremely difficult, you're doing a fantastic job so far )) Griffen looked sullenly up at the strange Yozoran warrior who'd come, by himself, to help them. She's not listening to you, either, huh? Griffen sighed softly, wondering about the Yozoran as he padded away from them. Why is it that his intervention, all by himself, without his pack behind him, doesn't mean as much as a Blood Mist traitor? Is that going to happen to me, too; am I going to have to separate from my own pack and act alone to do what I believe is right? His stomach flipped at the thought. As his alphess laid down in the grass, he blinked at her in disbelief. "You can't just lie down and do nothing!" He hissed at her. He would've said more, but his rage surpassed words and he had a feeling the healer would be carting him off very quickly. Kasparr and Autumn looked up, relief flooding their faces as they caught sight of Jolon moving towards them. "This is worse than I thought it'd be," Kasparr breathed as they met up with their companion. "All three packs besides the Yozorans are here now, but Blood Mist is still doing terrible damage. The Destinians are going to be too exhausted to continue pretty soon, and then the rest of us will be forced to pick up the slack for them."Autumn lowered her voice, though it wasn't really necessary with all the carnage that swirled around them. "At least Bain hasn't shown up. I though he might," she admitted. Cora lied there, a mixture of rain and snow pelting against her toussled, ash-stained pelt. Her eyes, which had been squeezed tightly shut, gradually opened. Her paws twitched feverishly; Cora was alive, but only just. As she choked on the air she breathed, foam collected the the corner of her mouth. Ah, yes, the one I've been waiting for. The one I got the crap beat out of myself for. Took her a while, didn't it? Arachna blinked calmly up at the Sheeran wolf, a small smile on her scarred features as she did so. "So hostile," she chided in light, raspy tones. "Think, Featherswift, what is killing me, a helpless, wounded wolf going to do for you? Is that noble of you, to kill a wolf who has no energy to defend herself? Really, is it?" She chuckled softly, but her laughter broke off into a serious of painful coughs that rattled her battered frame. She looked back up at the Sheeran warrior with a seriousness about her features. "I have a proposition I fear you may not be able to refuse."
Gossip looked to Cora, a tear falling off his cheek and hitting the ground. "I'm sorry this happened..." Without thinking, he looked to the nearest Blood Mist wolves he could see. And a lot more of this will happen, if you don't stop..
Aradis looked to Griffen, her paws trembling in front of her. "What more is there to do? It's over, it's only the start of the end.. For all of us..." She paused, trying to shake off whatever demon was causing her to do this, failing. "Golden Wolf has let us down."
Roman, locked in battle with Polychrome, froze in place. The other wolf could've battered at his sides or tore at his skin, and he would've been numb to any pain that tortured his body; all that matterd now was that his daughter, the only thing he had left of his lover, was vrey near dying. Perhaps if she had died before and was already a Hellfirian, he wouldn't have stopped like he did now, but something snapped as he saw her writhing in the first throes of death. If she doesn't have to reincarnate, she shouldn't. She deserves to live a full life, not a half life, dangling by the strings of fate. Roman, suffering frm a deep gouge near the base of his neck, kicked away at Polychrome's stomach and launched himself towards Cora. He shoved Gossip out of the way, flashing his teeth if he did so. "You've already done your damage!" Working quickly, he extricated the young healer from the tangled branches of the tree. Now, what's wrong with her? Why's she not breathing right? Very carefully, he placed his paws on her stomach and applie pressure. A sickening gurgle came from her throat, along with a slew of saliva and a good-sized splinter of wood. Her choking abruptly stopped, but she slipped into unconsciousness. Roman looked frantically for Krueger.
Griffen gaped at Aradis. "Oh, come on! You're our alpha for cripes' sake, get your ass off the ground and kick some ass already! The Yozoran was right -- right now, in the heat of battle, we need to fight. Later, we can work out ideas for peace, but this fight has already begun and it won't stop until it's been fought to the finish. If we're gonna finish this quick, we're going to have to strike back! Now get the hell up and fight like my sister was fighting for you until she got pushed off a fucking cliff!" Please work.... Griffen hoped his angry rant would spark defiance in his alpha -- defiance enough to get her off the ground and fighting again. But, of course, he could only hope she would actually listen to him this time.
Aradis blinked slightly, closing her eyes as the rain and snow collected around her cheeks. "Fine.." She shook her head, before stumbling to her paws and looked at the battlefield below. With a snarl she charged forward to where Gossip had been before he was pushed away into the mud. With a growl, the alphess launched herself at Roman, aiming blindly at his hip.
Gossip felt heavy paws on his side, and soon, he was pushed away from Cora, rolling to a stop on his belly in the mud. With a grunt, he stood up to face the culprit, only to realize Aradis had it covered. Without looking back, he turned around, looking for his next foe.
Something hard barreled into his hip and sent Roman toppling away from Cora. Snarling with fury, Roman whirled to face his attack. His eyes burned when he found it was none other than the she-devil herself -- the one who had pushed the log down that nearly killed his daughter. Roman lunged viciously at Aradis' throat. "That's my daughter, you bitch!"
Whisper looked at Griffen and swiftly nosed under the limp body positioning her lifeless body on her back. She stepped to Griffen and nipped at his hip. “We need to help her.” She nosed to Cora. “No one else should have to die so young. Please help me save her life. And we can only hope she will remember it.” She looked at him for help. “I will need you assistance though.” She whimpered as she seen the wolf about her age having troubles. She waited impatiently for his response.
Link ripped his muzzle from his opponents jaws. The force caused deep gashes in his snout that gushed vivid crimson. He shook his fur out swiftly and readied for his next attack. A vicious snarl grew in his chest as he crouched for a dive attack against Robespierre. He sprung from his haunches and dove at Robespierre attempting for a biting blow to his face.
Griffen blinked frantically from Aradis' fight to the unconscious Blood Mist. Decidedly, though not without some reluctance, he shook his head at Whisper. "They have their own healer, Whisper. The most we could do for her is to drag her towards their side of the line, but what good would that do? We'd either get mauled or captured. At least she's not foaming at the mouth anymore, right?" It made him feel terrible inside. The she-wolf had thrown herself in harm's way to save her packmates; everything he knew told him this was honorable. But Blood Mist is supposed to be different; Aradis keeps saying we're all wolves, but Blood Mist are the ones that need to stop. What if Blood Mist, if given the chance, could be just like any other pack? What if they're just doing what they feel is right? It was a bizarre notion, and he found his head throbbing uncomfortably in the beginnings of a headache. "I think I need to lie down," he admitted in a groan.
Robespierre, cheek sopping in blood, found his fangs finally thrusted from their burrows in Link's face. With a sadistic smile, Robespierre ducked as Link came at him. He writhed as the Destinian's fangs scraped against his skull, all the while snapping at the brute's legs in hopes of sinking his teeth into flesh. Not exactly as planned, but their's always room to improvise...
Above, in the Twilight Realm, Milly watched with teary eyes as her pack and family engaged in a hopeless, bloody battle. Her heart skipped every time someone made a move towards Ruka, Aurora, or Link. Oh, if only they knew, she lamented miserably, if only they knew it wasn't Aurora who killed me... The Twilight specter caught sight of Whisper, and an idea sprouted in her mind. Milly had a message to send.
((Thanks, I'll try to keep my RP clear! ;D )) After being flung on to the ground, and watching commotion happen all around her, Polychrome felt a sore sting rip along along her stomach. Getting up, watching a fight flame between the other wolves, Polychrome kept her distance from the scene, still confused of what just happened. Turning around, she was seeing more wolves in the horizon bearing claws at each other. Looking back at the scene, she dug her claws in the ground with excitement, yet fury, waiting of what would happen next. Launching in the air, she ran away from the group to get her own space, only resulting to fall down to her side to indulge in the pain she had in her stomach. However, she got back on her feet, trying to ignore the impact she absorbed. Bearing fangs, she was prepared for more attacks that would come her way. Attachments:
(( this is super short sorry))
Whisper whimpered looking over at the fallen wolf. “She smelt of herbs. I believe that she is there healer.” She shuffled her paws, she is a blood mist though. “I need my herbs. Please Griffen help me save her life.” She nosed at him hoping to gain his support. She could see his pain and moved to her herbs again. “Here eat this and it will help.” she paws in her herbs and offers him chamomile. Shifting her weight to account for the wolf on her back.
Link pulls his paws up getting small scratches as Robespierre caught his flesh. He yipped at the sudden pain. And went in to a summersault as he over shot his target. He struggled to stand but was disoriented and his paw made the effort all the more difficult. His head was spinning and he shook his fur out. The dizziness intensifies causing him to stummble.
(( Sounds good, Grimmy & that's alright, Acacia; Milly will have to try and reach Whisper sometime when she's sleeping or unconscious -- it doesn't have to happen now, but do you think we could work that into rp sometime in the near future or after the battle? )) Griffen swayed on his paws, a migraine pulsating in his temples. He felt bile rise in his throat and resisted the urge to be sick. He chewed the chamomile gratefully, taking a deep inhale of the soothing scent. Griffen was suddenly aware of how bruised and battered he was; truly, he was exhausted. Smiling sadly at Whisper, he shook his head again. "I don't think it's a good idea, but first thing's first: let's get Kaylee's body somewhere safe. We'll talk it through on the sidelines and see if we can move her. She's a neophyte, too, I think -- she might have a mentor who'll help her. I though I saw another healer standing at the edge of the woods," he offered hopefully. Smirking triumphantly, though blood coursed from the wounds in his forehead and all down his face, Robespierre mentally declared a victory for himself. The Destinian had stopped short of falling over the cliffs or into the hungry flames that lusted at one side of the great hill, but he was still disoriented; there was still a chance to push him over the edge. Robespierre sprang at Link and aimed to ram him in the side, out over the cliffs.
