Running from ashes of fire, Polychrome urged herself to run faster. Leaping across fallen branches and previous black debree, she silently stooped and kept a keep eye. Heaving her chest up and down, she breathed deeply gazing at the setting she was in. Beginning again, Polychrome ran faster to another of Blood mists warriors. Running down a steep hill, she saw a blanket of useless debree lay ed across a few deceased wolves. Gasping, Polychrome dodged down, trying not to trample the bodies. Sniffing a motionless body, she coughed in a stomach curling way. Not has she ever been so close to a corpse before, but it felt reverend to understand the laws of nature. Placing a paw over the deceased body, she bowed her head and whinnied. "Whats this, a female?" Polychrome spun around, seeing a large blackened male. Seemed to be black of ash, but Polychrome wasn't sure. He seemed alone, but possessing more stamina than Polychrome. "What are you doing here, you want to die?" He paced around. Polychrome,e stood motionless, staring strait at him dully. The wolf growled. "Take a bow, you dirt." he leaped across and tried to smite her, but Polychrome ran under and swift like the wind, jumped on top of him. (Ohno, I am doing to routine again, the same one that got be injured) she thought. Letting go of his thick neck, she fell to the slush of the ground, splashing it all around her. Getting up quickly, she stood her place. "I am right here, Ill take what you offer me. But please be quick." This angered the Blood mist warrior, who blindly ran to her, and savagely got a hold of her neck. Gasping for air, Polychrome fell back wards and whelped. Blood gushed from her jaw, smearing the ground below her, but like lightning, she kicked him with her back leg. jumping up, she ran away. Come back here! I am not done with you!" The mad wolf ran after her, little did he know... Polychrome ran into the woods, jumping over logs and rotten bark matted on the forest floor. Seeing the ditch flooded with sharp stones she saw earlier, she stopped in front of it. The Blood mist caught up to her, grinning savagely ready for his kill of the day. (Wait for him, wait...) dashing across the ground, she sped to her left, falling against a tree. A crunch rang from the ditch. Polychrome, feeling deeply horrified, yet honored. Waking over, she saw the flooding of blood and the body, limberly laying across the sharp stones. She hated to see death, even hearing of when her father died. But it was had to be done, he wasn't going to leave her alone. Her life was her own, not his. Smelling the air, she knelt her head, and whined. Picking it back up, her ears erect, she heard howling above. Running through the woods, she never looked back. ((Grimmy: I'm going to assume this Blood Mist wolf is Roman, because I had him leap at Polychrome in my last post. In that case, this would be powerplay and will need to be edited; please only write Polychrome's reaction to his attack, any injuries she may have received, and her counterattack -- let me write what Roman does next/how he reacts/his injuries/his attacks/etc. If you need help, like I said before, you can PM me or we can work through how to fight without powerplay in the roleplay school; since you're newer here and jumping in the battle stuff right away, it may be a good idea to do that I'd love to help you if you'd like, but don't worry too much about this. Many members have powerplayed in their first battle and many still do on accident, so if you work through it'll be fine. Feather/Painteh: I skimmed and I can't find the powerplay, but Feather might be able to point it out or maybe something was misread. ))

Whisper sifted through her herbs that Annalise had given her, and she shook her head realizing she took too long to help heal the wolf that she ran out into the fray. She watched the flames licking through the trees across the way. Feeling very nervous she passed to the top of the hill to see how everyone was fairing. Her eyes widen ad she spots the carnage and the blazing fire is burning fast through the woods. She looked up praying that it might start rain now. She gathered her herbs and buried then in a corner of the small den. She was going to help some of the wolves she could.
Link dove into the battle going for the first throat he could find he was engaged in battle when suddenly there was a howl. It broke his concentration and he looked to see the commotion that seemed to stop the battle. That was an innocent child! He roared in anger as he dashed to attack the offending wolf.
Nero timidly came out of hiding hid paws sure and leading him to the field where the wolves battled. He looked to see if he could help. Seeing no one off hand in need of assistance from this point of view he moved to see more of the field. As he did so he heard trees and heavy limbs snapping. He turned to see if there was anyone there and got into a defensive position.
Kasie took a big sigh as she crossed the border into blood mist territory. She stormed on hearing a howl off in the distance. That must be the main event. she stalked forward on swift paws as she lead her pack into battle. Her fur was on end as she heard a thunder boom and a bright crackle of the lightning skipping across the clouds. She swallowed her fear and begun to bound to the aid of their sister pack. Her fur shivered as the wind began to pick up. She looked back to see if her pack was keeping up. They could find a way to end this. The lighting lit up the night and Kasie’s Stunning eyes. ((Eh, my bad Painteh. The posts were so jumbled I got confused. Eheheehee....Again, apologies.
Can someone tell me what happened to make Arachna run off? Jolon and me are both lost and have no idea what went down. Thank you.))
Featherswift followed the new alpha's form inot the Blood Mist territory. Sheeran had come to help Destinian pack and she could feel the excitement and confidence rolling off of her pack members pelts. She was sure that the others wanted to fight this foe that had terrorized them for a long while, longer than she had been in Sheeran pack. It was a feud that went way back, but she was glad she could help her side. Of course she detested senseless fighting, but Sheeran pack was coming to help others. 'Hades' had told her that she must wait for the right moment and until then, act her part as a regular viewed wolf.
Her ears came up as she heard howls in the storming rain. A line of fire was in the distance, but she could not smell Hellfire, only Blood Mist, Destinian, Siverian, and a hint of Yozoran. She was surprised any Yozoran came at all for they were severly hit at the last battle. The other packs had been having trying times as well. She sighed as her pack kept descending into the territory, heading for rocky terrain that already stank of blood and rage.
Kasie picked up the pace as soon as the wind started picking up heavily. She followed suit as a warrior would do, as she would have to do if she wanted to make 'that' wolf take back her words.

(( Feather: While Arachna was fighting with Jolon and Aradis, two traitors intervened: Etheris betrayed the Destinians and attacked Aradis, and then Gossip betrayed the Blood Mists and attacked Arachna. Arachna and Gossip were caught in the flames but made narrow escapes. She's off in the woods somewhere if Featherswift wants to find her? ))
Her blood boiled as she watched. Cora had to set the herbs she's been holding down before she crunched them to pieces in her gritted teeth. Oh, the mouth on that boy! What was he, bi-polar? He'd flip sides like a pancake and be fighting against the packs as soon as he got bored, and he'd go back and forth and back and forth. Determindly, Cora began to march across the clearing towards him. She couldn't fight well, but she was shaking with fury and her mind told her to go. Soon, she was running, and then with a leap, Cora sprang at Gossip. "You want a reason? I'LL GIVE YOU A DAMN REASON YOU COWARD!"
Griffen whirled on Aradis, eyes sparking with accusation. "You're letting him get away with this! You can blame me all you want, but he's the killer here, he's the guilty one!" And if you don't do something about it, I'll never respect you again! "What was she to you, just a puppet, just a stupid neophyte? She was a sister, a daughter, a packmate! My father died in the last battle, I'm the only one of my family left, doesn't that mean something?" He shook his head at her, eyes cold and miserable as he looked at his dead sister. Doesn't give a damn!
Robespierre smirked at the alphess, eyes twinkling at her with keen interest. "Someone's learned their lesson, now haven't you?" He spoke as if he was praising a small child. "The other one is not faring so well, I'm afraid." A second later, a wolf crashed into his side and Robespierre was down on the ground. Snarling and flailing his claws, he managed to writhe away from his adversary and whirl to face him, fuming with anger. "Ah, I'm afraid you remain in the shadow of ignorance, my dear fellow. You ought to learn, though, violence is justifiable if it is all for the greater good! What you're doing is cruelty, using it to inflict pain for your own sadistic fascination. I have a purpose -- a magnificent purpose!" With that, Robespierre lunged forward for Link's throat.
Kasparr and Autumn did their best to keep Bloodsbane at bay, but the giant of a wolf was relentless and kept coming at them with a fresh bout of blows. Driven back towards the woods, the siblings exchanged a fleeting glance of terror. And then, streaking from the undergrowth, came the angels. The Sheerans are here! A lithe, black warrior sprang between the two siblings and crashed down upon Bloodsbane. "I'll take it from here," he nodded to them. Gratefully, Kasparr and Autumn backed away and searched the crowd for Jolon while Solaris of the Sheerans battled with Bloodsbane.
Arachna limped through the woods, coughing fitfully and badly injured. A triumphant howl in the distance signaled the arrival of the Sheerans, who she'd nearly crossed paths with on accident when they were still making their way to the scene of the fight. Exhausted, Arachna collapsed in a sooty heap at the bottom of an oak tree that had long shed its leaves. It was bitterly cold, but the furnace of the flames still scorched in Arachna's insides.

Gossip flicked his ears at a voice followed by an impact on his side, which made him stumble into Aradis, who spun around to see what was going on. Her eyes met Gossip's for a second, as she didn't even hear Griffen's words. Then the brute gathered his paws, but only to come to a stand still. He didn't even dare respond the Cora, but instead let his ears drop back, leaving Aradis to wonder in her head. She blinked and frowned, looking to the neophyte. He still loves you... She stepped slightly to stand only an inch in front of the male, looking to Cora with gentle eyes. "He's been hurt enough, leave before I force you." Gossip looked up to Aradis, before quickly looking down to his paws.
((I decided to mix my characters reactions when their interacting with each other, please tell me if it's confusing in any way.))

(( Nope, not confusing, but it's gonna make for some angry wolfehs xD ))
Cora glared at Aradis coldly for a minute, and then threw a bitch-slap at the femme's cheek "Don't you have your own chores to attend to?" She gestured rudely towards Griffen, who was curled miserably on the ground next to his dead sister. She whipped back around to face Gossip, eyes contemptuosly. "Fine, then. Apparently, you need others to speak for you, so I guess you're not the kind of wolf I'd want to be around, anyway. Oh, and not to mentioned the whol disloyalty thing, but that pretty much kicked it in the bucket, too, didn't it? Good luck with whatever sorry excuse of a life you've just picked out for yourself, but I can assure you you won't ever find anyone quite like me." I'm gonna give you hell, just you wait!
Griffen watched in disbelief as the alphess simply walked away from him, walked away from her dead packmate to go to the aid of the Blood Mist traitor. Sure, the wolf had played a part in tipping Aradis' fight in her favor, but he was stung, wounded, and disgusted beyond any measure he could remember being before. So that's what she values; personal favors over a lifetime of pack loyalty. What has the world come to?

"Nothing but a bunch of demons." Gossip felt himself staring at Cora with narrowed eyes, though his head wasn't raised and his tail was still hanging down. "That's what Blood Mist is, a mistake." Aradis shot a shocked glance at Gossip, ignoring the slight sting on her cheek from Cora's hit. "Where is the pride in murder?" Gossip stalked past Aradis tail lashing behind him, leaving a shocked expression on the alphess' face. As Gossip walked away, Aradis turned towards Griffen. "I'm sorry for your loss, but what do you want me to do? Killing is never the answer."

Griffen pawed at the ground in frustration, shaking his head sullenly as his alphess spoke. "What other answer is there?" He growled lowly. The brute had needed to vent; he was visibly calmer now, bu this expression was one of a wolf who has been truly broken."They're tearing us to pieces, Aradis. They reincarnated, so I guess killing them won't solve anything anyway. But what else is there to do?" His ears twitched in mild annoyance at the other brute -- Gossip, the one he'd been fighting before. "We can't be friends with them, either, Aradis; too many people have been hurt by their cruelty. One act of repentence cannot pay for the lives that have been lost."
Cora's icy facade suddenly broke. Her eyes grew teary as she gaped at him. Gradually, she swallowed her grief and brought back her rage in a stare that spoke of ice and wind. "No," she growled darkly. "You want to know what the mistake is here? Trusting you!" She whipped around and stormed off across the blood strewn clearing. At least Blood Mists are loyal to their own people.

Aradis twitched her ears slightly, looking to Griffen. "Don't blame one for another's wrongs." She looked to Gossip, then back to Cora who was walking away. "Your right, we can't be friends, but why are we enemies? Aren't we all wolves? Or has that to lost meaning?" Without waiting for his response, she trotted after Gossip, slowing and walking in silence beside him. "Any ideas to end this?" He perked his ears, but only shook his head. "I'm afraid not."

Griffen snorted incredulously at his alphess as she consulted the Blood Mist like he was her beta. "Aradis, where the hell was he when Annelise was captive for nine months in the Blood Mist Camp? What would Annelise, a wolf who's been loyal all her life, think of this little companionship right now? You're not the first one to try and make peace, but it didn't work. Siveria herself tried it and it didn't work! So what if he wasn't directly responsable, does sitting and watching as his packmates murdered our wolves still make him innoccent?" Griffen looked at the Blood Mist wolf with unconcealed disgust.

Gossip turned around as Griffen spoke, looking at the other brute calmly. "I won't say I'm innocent, that'd be the biggest lie I can make, but I'm not the only one committing these crimes. We all are guilty, every time we kill someone, theres never a cause for it. Is there?" He paused, looking to Aradis, who had stopped but not turning glances to the two wolves. "And I think," He turned back to Griffen smiling. "The end of this starts here."

Griffen's glare was unyielding. "Wasn't that she-wolf your friend?" he asked sharply. "Seems like you like you threw her out pretty quick. She's a bitch, too, I'm sure, but you haven't ended anything. You've just aimed your cruelty at your old pack -- it's still there, just with a different target." A pocket of dread filled his gut. He could tell, the alpha would be willing to listen to this wolf who'd intervene on her behalf rather than listen to Griffen. It made him sick to think about it, but he knew it was coming; she would offer him a place in the pack. He could imagine the looks of the faces of the wolves who had stayed home, all shocked and horrified -- especially the healer, who he suspected had stayed at camp out of fear rather than not feeling up to the journey. "Blood Mist think what they're doing is right," he growled. "They call us the same names you have called them, and wolves betray us just like you betrayed them, so to call them evil is to call us evil as well. Aradis, if you truly believe we're just all wolves, then you have to accept that. You can't have it both ways."

(Sivonce, Sorry, I got carried away I didn't quite pay attention to the last post. I think that was my mistake. I'll do better now, and get through the power play. If I tend to do this more I will go to the role playing school. Ill redo the post again, but will make sure for that it will be my last screw up. Ha ha. ) Polychrome ran toward the battle ahead of her with her pink tongue sticking out from dehydration. Feeling her ankles burn Intensly from the soreness...yet she moved on. This was the last of her worries right now, she thought. Leaping across mosses and grass, she darted closer and closer to the battle from the sidelines. Watching now groups of wolves snapping at each other's throats and chasing along the horizon, Polychrome grew anxious inside the pit of her stomach. Like a flash she ran into the territory of carnage. Leaping over bodies and the thick stench of blood, she howled in her battle cry. Suddenly, though, she felt a blow against her side. Falling out the ground, she tried to get back up, but the weight was too heavy. Crying in anger, she bit upon the ears. Sliding through the space she had between the ground and the wolves heavy weight, she leaped back up and growled letting out her sharp teeth. Trying to muster up all she could to look fierce and terrifying. She wasn't going to back down from this fight... Attachments:

(( Grimmy: beautiful -- fantastic improvement ;D ))
Roman's eyes glittered as he landed on the Siverian warrior -- it had been a perfect hit. But already, she was recovering and coming at him with her fangs. The white warrior ducked, but the other warrior's teeth managed to snag his ear. He tore away from her, but not without a screech of pain as a small nick was cut out of his ear from where her fangs had penetrated. Roman's paws went at her faces, aiming to claw her cheeks and eyes. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught the Sheerans as they entered the battle. No matter, they can bring in all the reinforcements they want; we're larger than all three of their packs combined, and the Destinians will be too tired to continue soon. The Siverians have already had losses...the Sheerans might be fighting alone.

((I'm gonna try a new style here))
She hardly heard him, well she might of, but might not of either. But she didn't respond, instead turned her gaze to the one standing next to her, a sigh escaping her muzzle. "Your right Griffen." Her neck fur shook, and she straightened up, walking past Griffen and placing her paw on a twig that hung off a charred tree, the once strong tree letting go of the twig. She didn't flinch as the tree creaked under her touch, instead smiled. "If we can't stop them, they can stop themselves." With that she raised on her hind paws, ramming into the trunk of the large pine. The tree creaked, and her paws found air, as she let off, leaving the tree to tumble down the hill, almost silent in the thunder.
