Sirius sighed warily as he padded into the alpha den. He had just done a full circuit of the territories, distributing Kunai's six siblings among Yozorans, Siverians and Sheerans. Now he really needed to sleep. Except for a breif nap before the pack meeting, Sirius hadn't slept since Destiny's death which was several days ago, or that was how it felt. Sighing, the ebony alpha flopped down on his nest. Every muscle ached and he was starving but that would wait until he slept otherwise he woudl probably fall asleep on a half-eaten squirrel which didn't sound too nice. Sirius glanced around before drifting off to sleep. He really wished Aliya was around. Even though she was his beta and mate, Sirius hadn't seen her since he'd left for his lives ceremony...He missed her....

Aliya was just padding into camp. She had been hunting. For the fourth time today, actually. When she wasn't around Sirius or dealing with pack matters she hunted. It gave her something to do. Something to put her mind on. Besides that, the fresh kill pile had been low. Her few contributions, two squirrels, a rabbit and a pheasent had brought it up a bit. Now she carried a limp sparrow. Padding over too the steadily growing pile she dropped the sparrow on the top. Perhaps she should eat something. She should definetaly eat something. The last time she had eaten had been... two days ago, or so. Sirius had chosen Grug as his new proxy. She was unsure of the decision herself. Grug was keen, a good hunter , but he didn't do so well under pressure. Aliya cringed as she remembered Destiny yelling her head off at Grug on more then one occasion. Still, Sirius probably saw something in Grug that she didn't. Speaking of Sirius, where was he? Glancing around she didn't see him. He was probably in his den. Quietly she padded towards it. She really should announce herself at the entrance, but she could hear him sleeping inside now. His breathing told her that much. Soundlessly she entered. Halting to stand beside the far wall. Giving him lots of space. He was her mate, but also her alpha.

The feeling of being watched is an eerie one, even if you're being watched by a loved one. Sirius's silvery eyes opened and he breathed in. Aliya. Instantly, tired muscles relaxed and the brute raised his head, smiling warmly at his mate. Alpha or not he had a soft spot in his heart that would always go to Aliya. Rising to his paws, Sirius padded forward to his mate and touched his muzzle against hers in a loving greeting. "I missed you" he said softly, licking her cheek. Sirius was a sensible wolf but at heart he could be a softie. When Aliya was around, he was nothing but a pushover.

Aliya smiled inwardly. Nuzzling his neck in a loving way. Her voice came in a sweet velvet melody. "I missed you too." Sirius was sharp. Most wolves would be much too deep in sleep too realize they were even being watched. Then again, this was Sirius she was talking about. Her mate was an excellent alpha in her opinion. But she was his mate, and she could see the reason in almost everything he did. Most wolves wouldn't and couldn't. Though, as he made quite obvious when around her, he could be a complete pushover at times. "How have you been love?" SHe murmured quietly. Breathing in his delicious scent.
(I was thinking. Maybe they could have a second litter? Only this time with one or two pups. Depending on wether you want one or not. What do you think?)

(sounds good, i was thinkin that last night physic! lol) Sirius smiled, running his muzzle against her neck and breathing in. Aliya always had the most beautiful scent. He could pick Aliya's scent out of all the packs combined. Sirius supposed it was a perk to having such a beautiful mate. "Tired, very tired" Sirius admitted, padding over to his nest again but leaving room for Aliya to join him. "And lonely. Ever since I got my lives I haven't slept nor had a chance to enjoy you're wonderful company." Sirius flashed a loving grin at his mate, silver eyes bright and tail wagging a few times. "I think I'll take your company over sleep any day."

Her body shivered with pleasure. JUst his touch was enough to send her sense on fire. A smile creeped onto the corners of her maw. Sirius looked absolutely adorable as he gazed at her. His tail wagging like a pup who has just discovered the outside of the Nursery. Soundlessly she padded after him. Settling herself down in his nest with him. She noticed that there was still a faint trace of Destiny's scent in Sirius's den. Then again, the alphess had not been gone for a very long time.Aliya nuzzled Sirius again. Resting her chin on his paws. "I second that. I could go weeks without sleep. But without seeing you, I think I'd go mad."

A deep chuckle rippled from the alpha's chest as he lovingly began to groom his mate's velvet black ears. Aliya had her cute moments, showing a softer side she rarely showed anymore. Since being a mother, proxy and now beta, Sirius hadn't really seen Aliya act carefree but then again, neither had he. Resting his head lightly on her crown, he nuzzled behind her ear, breathing in and savoring her scent. "Some think I'm already insane" Sirius commented lightly, "they haven't seen me go a long time without seeing you." The brute smiled at the thought.

ALiya chuckled lightly. Passionately she nuzzledhis neck and chest. "Perhaps you are. Perhaps you are. But, then I too must be insane." His scent was her heaven. His very being had given her life meaning. How she loved him. Her love was endless. "But, I doubt Destiny would have kept you as her bea if she thought you were mad. Then again, you never know with Destiny" Aliya shifted her weight. Her belly was beginning to grow again. And, something told her, that it was not because she was eating too much. A second litter of pups would be along in a few moons.

"Ah I think the only reason she kept me is because I was insane" Sirius said with a chuckle, winking at Aliya. Destiny would always be remembered affectionately in Sirius's mind and when he spoke of her there would always be a hint of lingering respect for the troubled alphess. Few knew the true extent of Destiny's hardships, even Sirius doubted he knew even half of them. His ears flicked up curiously when Aliya shifted, silver eyes skimming her usually slender form. A small smile curled on the brujo's midnight-toned maw as he bent his head a bit, brushing his nose lightly against Aliya's side. Raising his head to meet Aliya's eyes he licked her muzzle lovingly. The last of their litter had all but vanished, all but Sothis and Skysong were commonly seen. Sirius hadn't even seen Eve since her birth. What had happened, was beyond him though he was sad at her loss. Perhaps this time it would be better. "First Destinian pups born in the new terra I beleive" he said in soft tones.

Aliya dipped her crown slightly. Chuckling at Sirius's words. Insane eh? Most likely. Then she noticed as he glanced over her form. RUbbing his nose along her side. A smile curled along the tip of her maw once again. So he had noticed. "I do beleive you are correct. And the pups of an alpha and beta too." A teasing look crossed her face as she playfully nipped his eartip. Hopefully their second litter would be better. Of there first litter only Sothis and SKysong remained. Or so it would seem. Her other daughters, Mocha and Eve, were rarely spotted. Eve had not been seen since around the time of her birth. Mocha had appeared once or twice since then. What had happened to her daughters she did not know.
(Maybe there should be five pups and we could have three of them die of the sickness? It would be somewhat un-natura; fpr the whole litter to survive anyway. What do you think?)

(sure. immune wolves r supposed to get a little sick so sirius is gonna get a little bit of a cough but not get too sick, jus like whitecough or something) Sirius flicked his ear as Aliya nipped at him and chuckled. "Ah yes but at least the pack would know we can work together." The brute winked at his beloved, an amused look on his visage. Aliya brought out the pup in him that had stayed hidden since the death of his friends. That time seemed so far back yet Sirius knew he wouldn't forget. Sirius nuzzled Aliya's neck again, breathing in and savoring her scent as if it meant more then air to him, which was darn near the truth. When the pack was around, they had to somewhat watch their step. The pack knew they were mates because of their previous pups but, there were some lines of formality. Sirius hated them and savored alone time with his mate. A soft sigh escaped him, eyes close and head resting on Aliya's shoulder, still breathing in her scent. "Nights in this den will be lonely ones" he murmured softly.

Aliya nuzzled his neck comfortingly. "Yes, but at least when we go to sleep at night we will be looking forward too the morning that much more." Her logic wasn't the best. But still. It was true. If she went too sleep knowing she could see Sirius the next day it would make it all the more worth while. Even if they couldn't be together all the time, it was more then wonderful when they could. Though, she would have other wolves too sleep with. Sirius would be all alone. Though ALiya had the haunting suspicion that Destiny might visit him now and then too check in. ALiya chuckled at the thought of Sirius waking up to see Destiny floating around above him,

Sirius sighed. "I suppose." Aliya always had one solution or another. It was one reason he was glad she was his beta. He didn't know who else he would have trusted to give him a reason to weather lonely nights in the alpha's den. Sirius was fairly sure that if he did wonder out of the den or try not to sleep, Destiny would float up to him and knock him out herself. Just because she was dead, Sirius doubted Destiny would stop watching her pack. In the end, the Destinians had been one of the few things the alphess had still had that was her own, that was sane. "I have twelve wolf spirits floating around to keep an eye on me in any case" Sirius said, somewhat amused and shrugged. "I'm sure they'll keep me company. Though your company will always be the best." The ebony alpha met his love's gaze, affection in his silver eyes.

A sense of great pleasure went through her. His words brought great happiness too her. As they often did. She met his silver gaze. Her pools were an aquamarine like color tonight. Like the ocean. Odd. For a moment thoughts of her pups came too her mind. Skysong. The femme had been spending a lot of time with Kunai lately. Aliya wondered if they might be more then just friends. Sothis. She frowned slightly. He wasn't a very social wolf. THough, he had been speaking too Carolina a bit lately. Not a lot, but at least he was making small talk with someone other then his sister.

"Should we tell Sothis and Skysong or will it be a surprise for the pack and them?" Sirius asked. Aliya wouldn't be able to hide her pregnancy for long but having gone through it once she would be able to cope with it easier then first-time mothers. The black brute imagined the faces of his two young ones when they found out there were about to be more siblings. A soft chuckle brought itself up at that thought. It would be amusing. He could imagine Skysong giving them a bug-eyed look and Sothis...well it was hard to tell with Sothis.
