The dark ebony large form of a femmora wedged it's way into the small den. Fur brushed all four of it's sides. But the femme was too tired and battle worn to really care. Stupid fox had put up some fight for this den. She had eaten it after. The first meal in several days. Though she did'nt much care for the taste it filled her up. She'd buried the bones and parts she would'nt eat a ways from here. The fox scent was in this den and strong. But it did'nt matter. It was a warm place to sleep for the night. Seera tenderly licked some of her wounds before curling up. Laying her head down the femme drifted off to sleep. Perhaps dreams would greet her tired form.

Kojo could be seen, standing in a forest path, dark trees on all sides like a road cutting through the forest. Starlight sparkled overhead, reflecting in his topaz eyes and paling his red-gold fur. His form was small and scrawny for a brute yet the Twilight wolf was still somehow impressive. His muzzle turned toward the sky and he let out an unearthly howl, summoning his daughter, Serra from wherever her dreams took her.

An un-earthly howl rang in her auds. So far away yet so familier and so alive yet so not. Whose was it anyway? She opened her dark yet light blue pools flecked with green. She was in a forest. A familier scent carried to her on the un-real wind. Whose was it? It smelled familier, where had it drifted to her before? Her dark paws carried her across the lush yet not natural grass which coated the forest's floor. Starlight filtered through the trees and seemed to come from them at times. The scent drew stronger. The pain of her wounds still filtered through her form. Intensity increasing with each movement.

Kojo let his howl die away and waited. The soft sounds of a summer forest soothed his worries as he stood below the light of the stars waiting for his daughter to arrive. He hoped she would come. He was not a familiar sight to Serra and his voice was foreign to her. Even so he hoped that faith and hope would guide her and he didn't mean just her mother and aunt. If she was curious, he was sure she would come though whether she would listen, he worried.

Suddenly the voice dimmed and died out. Seera paused, pricking her auds for it. But the sound was gone. Paws continued on by pure instinct. Guiding her to someone. Suddenly the path began to clear out and the un-real forest became a lush grassy clearing. The medium sized form of a reddish golden brute stood before her. The blood from her own wounds had dried onto her fur. Making her ebony pelt look somewhat scarlet in places as she padded around the clearing's edge.Doing a full circle of the brute before halting back where she had entered the area. Pools took him in. He seemed so familier.Yet so foregin. Who was he?

"Hello Serra" Kojo said calmly, watching his daughter as she circled him, then settled herself where she had entered the clearing. She was cautious, careful. She had inherited her father's wary nature. Kojo met Serra's gaze, the gaze trapped in that odd place between light and dark. "You favored the looks from your mother's side I see. I am Kojo, your father. Last you saw me you were a pup so I doubt you remember me." Kojo's tones were calm, fatherly, his honey-colored pools watching Serra carefully though he looked totally relaxed.

For a moment Serra's form stiffened.Pelt bristling. The femme could'nt beleive these words. She ventured closer.Taking a better look at the brute. He had Sunblaze's size and pelt. The brute's presence was familier and oddly soothing.Serra halted , barely a foot from him. The femme looked him over. Than caught his gaze.He was'nt lieing. This was her father. "Kojo..."She let the name roll off her tounge. Commiting it to memory. "Nice to meet you, father." She barked. Relaxed by now.

A small smile curled on Kojo's maw. "Things have been hard for you Serra, most of it being my fault. Though Ronin is dead there are battles laying before you Serra, battles against Fate. Guard your soul and never let the darkness fill your heart. Unfortunately you and Sunblaze were born to a feuding family, more dark then light. Find the light in your heart and banish the dark or I may not be able to help you." Kojo's words were spoken gravely, his gaze serious and sad.

Serra perked one aud.Listening intently to his words. The other remained alert for the sound of approaching creatures.Though the likely hood of any showing up was very, very slim.Fate? Her aunt? She'd known the fae was a lot darker than Hope or Faith.Fate had known things no one else beside Ronin did. Fate had been the one always left in charge when Ronin went out.Fate had been the darkest of the three femmes.Hope and Faith on the other hand had been light and lighter. One kinder than the other. One a Healer the other a mother.Fate had tricked and tormented wolves to get what she wanted. So, Fate was dead then. That was good. But, if Kojo spoke of battles with her, than would Fate try to reach her through dreams as Kojo had? Seera closed her pools for a few moments.Thinking deeply.WHen she finally opened them again they were both different. One held more love and compassion than anything else. The other seemed hard and cold.Filled with hate and hidden bloodlust."Your asking an almost impossible task.I was born to the taste of human blood in my maw.The scent of death. The paws of Ronin shielded me for many moons."Seera paused."Until I saw what he really was.But the bloodlust still remained , and still remains in me.The curse which he bestowed upon m life at birth. I know it's still there."Seera held his gaze for a moment before turning her gaze away. Her words held shame and disgust."When I kill,I enjoy it."She murmured.More angry at the truth of who she was than anything else.

Kojo closed his eyes, letting Serra's words sink in. His mind flashed back to his days before Faith, before Ronin, before he had tasted freedom. He had been as mindless as a dog, killing anything that moved and a growl never silencing from his throat. Those days had been dark and terrible now that he looked back upon them, standing in thes leafy forest facing one of his two daughters. Finally Kojo opened his eyes and met Serra's gaze. "Bloodlust is nothing to be ashamed of Serra. All wolves feel it, some stronger then others. All wolves crave blood. That is why the first wolves began to hunt and kill. It is our nature. Nothing I say will ever change that, nor would I wish to change it. Wolves are born with the song of death in their ears, knowing how to kill, some without being taught. We kill because we must. We savor the fruits of a hunt and the victory of a battle but that is where the lusting must be controlled. You are an animal, you are a wolf but you are not without will, not without control. You must know the limits of a wolf, the limits of our sanity, the border of light and dark and when you've crossed. Without dark there can not be light, without light there is no dark but there is a balance all wolves must find."

Seera flinched back as she met his gaze. The femme held it anyway. She was two unstable sides of a half sane whole. Ronin had done his best to change her mind to his liking. The things he had done, she had alwasy looked up to him. Never doubted he was her father. They were so alike, had been so alike, were still so alike. Seera had not gained what she had wanted. She had not gotten the revenge she had sought. Ronin, the desire for revenge, the desire to taste his blood on her fangs, had drove her half insane. Slowly she was regaining her sanity. Though, wether or not she would ever be fully stable again was uncertain. Kojo's words held truth and reality.Held her last chances at sanity. Her sane side was her compassionate and calm side. The insanity was gripped by the bloodlust, the hate, the desire for revenge which hid itself in her. Could she possibly control this? "Yes,your words are too true. But can insane wolves regain enough sanity to be forgiven for their sins and live in full control of themselves?"Long ago the blood lust had loosened from her grasp. Maybe again, if she had the courage, if she had the spirit, she could regain control. Though she knew, she could not do it alone.

Kojo looked away now, gazing into the dark undergrowth. "I never regained the sanity to be forgiven" Kojo murmured. "But Faith forgave me anyway. My mind was lost when I met Faith and yet I stand before you as a wolf of Twilight. It isn't how sane you are when you die or if you regain control, what counts is if you are truely sorry for what you have done. Wolves that are held by bloodlust require only small things to help bring them back. There are wolves out there looking to help Serra, you only have to look to them." Kojo's golden gaze turned back to Serra, watching a war in her eyes though he knew not the outcome.

Seera held his gaze for a few moments. Finally soft yet dark pools closed. The femme could hear voices in her head. No, a voice. Not just any voice.A familier voice. An all too familier voice. It held the hateful venom of a viper's posion. Seera, wake up. Your not who you think you are. Your who you are, wether you like it or not, and who you are is Ronin's kin. So what? Ronin was a cold-blooded killer.I'll never be who he was! Stop it, your being stupid!Wake up and smell the black bloody roses Seera! The bloodlust in your veins, the venom, the hate, the desire for revenge. It's all too strong for you to handle. Not true.I can handle it.I can control myself.I can keep it in check, like other wolves. You go ahead and think that if it makes you feel better. But you are what you are. What you are and what you will become is insane. You will never tame this bloodlust on your own. Come to me, I will help you. I don't need your help! Seera's pools shot open with a haunted look.Perspire had made itself known on her forhead while she had been thinking. The voice had been familier. The voice had been Fate's.

A cold chill ran down Kojo's spine and he let out a soft growl. "Don't listen to her Serra, you're better then what Ronin was. Fate can not help you she will only break you down until you're nothing more then what she was. You're stronger then that Serra, much stronger." Kojo could feel darkness in the clearing around them and it was starting to be a struggle to remain in Serra's dream, as if Fate was trying to push her out.

Seera's pelt brsitled. Fate was near. Her presence was obvious. And icy wind swept through the clearing. But nothing moved as it would have if wind was blowing on it. Don't listen to him Seera. Kojo got himself killed for love. He was weak. No challenge to Ronin. No challenge to the hunters or dogs. Nothing but a weak little puppy. You know why? Because he controled his blood lust. He kept it in. He let them maul him.Do you want that to be you? You can't control yourself without my help.Listen to him if you want, but your weak Seera, and you need me to survive. "SHUTUP!SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP!"Seera whipped her head around in anger. Looking for Fate, though she knew the fae wasn't there."Kojo is NOT weak! YOUR the weak one!You and Ronin both!SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"Seera screamed in rage. The anger and sorrow toiled in her eyes. She was sorry for her actions. But could she prove it? And god dam* Fate wouldn't get out of her head. It was driving her mad.
