Nuka's paws made no sound as he went along. The anger and sorrow that radiated from him was plain. Though there was no blood lust or anything of the sort there. The anger seemed to be within himself. Disappointment even. The brute was being tortured by his own soul. For his love had turned to anger, frustration, disgust. Horrible, wretched things.
Faith's paws carried her onward. Up ahead she saw two faes. Standing at the edge of something. Not moving. As the barren land became muddy and wet the two faes came into sight. One was her sister. Hope. The other a large ebony fae. Smaller than Nuka but larger than herself. As Faith neared she skidded to a halt.
Nuka kept onward until he came eye to eye with the ebony femme. A deep snarl erupted from his parted jaws. The brute stood tall.
New Moon bared her crimson blood stained fangs and un-sheathed her stained claws. Pools filled with hate and despise and ambition glared upon her half-brother. "Damn it all. Your here."
Nuka only snarled. " You should have been sent to Hellfire."His voice was deep and hateful.
New Moon smirked. "I was'nt that bad dear."An evil laugh erupted from her. The femme turned and disapeared into mist.
Nuka snarled after her. Then turning to Hope smiled a bit. Nodding.
Hope only nodded to the larger male.
Faith glanced to Kojo. Then stepped delicately into the mud. Her form began to sink down into it. She glanced around frantically.

Kojo leaned forward and gripped Faith's scruff delicately, pulling her from the mud with one powerful tug though he was careful not to hurt her. "Careful love" Kojo murmured in her ear. "This may not be a good place to be." Kojo glanced at where New Moon had been and where Nuka still stood. Family feuds could be ugly things, not always a good place to get caught. Whether Faith was aware of the cause, he doubted she wanted to get too mixed up in it. Kojo kept a wary eye on Nuka. He knew Hope had died on fair terms with Faith, there would be no to little ill-will between the sisters.

Nuka smiled. "I see you got here safely as well, Hope."He glanced to Faith then to Hope then back to Faith again. "Faith,Hope, Your sister Fate. Might have been fated to Hellfire. I am unsure. But I have not seen her in the Realm yet, nor scented her. Dust was supposed to guide her here."A hint of sorrow in Nuka's pools now. "I'm not sure if our pull on her was strong enough to save her from the hellish grave she dug herself."
Hope shivered. Her fur had mud caught in it. The femme had tried to cross the area."I tried to pass through here. Something was calling me. But I can't do it."She glanced to Faith."If you dare to try.Be careful about it , sister."With that Hope whisked past Faith and Kojo."I'm going in search of Fate!"she barked over her shoulder.
Nuka glanced after Hope. Then into the land before them.Marshy and muddy. No problem, he was dead anyway.Quickly the brute lept into the water. Putting barely any weight on his paws. The brute began to leap across the wasteland.
Faith gave Kojo a greatful lick on the muzzle."Thanks love. I don't know what would happen to me without you."She smiled at him for a moment. Then a weird look crossed her maw. "I can still hear her howl and it's getting louder like she's screaming at me."Faith grumbled angrily. Then watched Nuka. Cocking her head to the side.
A large, snowy brute materialized in the mud. He was leaping after Nuka. The brute must have been the size of Ronin. Maybe smaller. Nothing to Nuka at all. Raku was always smiling. He carried a deep love in his heart. A love for three wolves. Each different. His love for SIlenthowl neverending. His love for Lucy, shortlived. He had not had time to know her well. But what he had known he liked a lot. And finally there was Rain. Something about Rain had intrigued him from the start. Raku had done what might seem horrible before dieing. It was actually praised by his living sister.Or half-sister he should say.

Kojo rested his muzzle lightly against Faith's neck in a soothing gesture. During his living time, Kojo had come and gone in Faith's life, fleeing humans more then he spent time with his beloved mate. Now, Kojo simply followed, supporting his mate when he could and supporting her when she needed it. "Who?" Kojo asked softly. "Fate?"

Faith shook her crown. "No. This howl is different than Fate's. Darker, blacker, more emotionless. Yet the sorrow and agony that weaves it's way into it is so obvious."Faith looked up suddenly."My mother's howl."As hard as she tried the fae could not remember her mothers name. What had it been?"Glancing around Faith noticed some trees groing up from the mud. They were far apart, but if luck was with her she just might be able to make the jumps."We have to follow them."she murmured urgently.

"Alright, we'll follow" Kojo murmured. He could see this was important to Faith. For some reason, she seemed troubled at not being able to remember her mother's name. Kojo had never even seen his. A mother was a luxury Kojo had neither wanted nor thought about. Someone to care for him had been nothing but a mere passing thought until he'd met Faith. Kojo moved carefully across the wasteland, keeping his weight balanced on his hunches and shoulders rather then his paws so he wouldn't sink.

Faith watched the way Nuka and the snowy white wolf moved. Then the way Kojo did. She did the same. But her movements were quicker. More urgent. All weight was kept off her silken paws as the mud sucked and pulled at her form. Slowly the area around them became just a muddy bodland. Moss and such growing everywhere.
Nuka disapeared suddenly. As did Raku. A haunting scream like howl echoed through the eerie place.Faith;s fur stood on end. She wanted to turn and run away. But the howl only drew her closer. Made her run towards it faster.

Kojo moved alongside his mate, running at her shoulder. When she sped up, he did too. The land was growing firmer under their paws so running was easier now. He could practically taste Faith's urgency though he didn't understand it. Whatever her reason, Kojo knew it must be important. Whether it was a simply reunion with her mother or something more, Kojo knew he'd follow Faith anywhere.

Voices echoed through the area now. A brute and fae materialized up ahead. "TURN BACK!"Screamed Rane. "YOUR RUNNING TO NO WHERE BUT HELLFIRE!" Screamed Myst. "DAUGHTER TURN BACK! TURN BACK!TURN BACK!"The brute's creamy form disapeared. "YOUR ASKING FOR NOTHING BUT MORE PAIN!"Screeched Myst. Then the femme too disapeared. "I'd rather live in Hellfire. I have to see my mother."Faith snarled.More to herself than anyone else. She picked up her pace. Actually, she did'nt think she could run faster. But now she was. The femme knew the two wolves were just trying to scare her. Rane had called her daughter, he was'nt her father though. Oh, she hated him. The air was thick with mist. So thick it was dark as if it were fog coating the air. The dampness , the weight of the fog in the air, it felt like it was crushing down on her. She kept on. The scent of her mother was fresher now. Stronger now. Soon, she would see her.

Kojo's ears laid flat as the wolves began howling and shouting their eerie warnings. Hellfire. At one time that was a place he beleived he belonged. The closer they drew to Faith's mother the more his paws wanted to stop and his step started faltering but he kept going. If meeting her mother was what Faith wanted, Kojo wouldn't argue. They were mates, Kojo would go with her and protect her.

Up ahead a massive shadow moved through the mist. Faith skidded to a halt. The femme that was advancing towards her was huge. Two, if not three times the size of her brother Ronin. The dark shadow loomed ahead of her. Coming ever closer. Faith caught glimpses of crimson. At first she was puzzled about what they were. Then she realized they were her mothers bloodtstained and extremally long dagger like claws. As well as her razor sharp blood-stained fangs that glimmered as she howled her un-earthly howl.Un wolf-like. Almost... a scream. Long glossy ebony fur glimmered with the muscular female's sudden and swift movements. Long tail swayed back and forth. Held high in authority.Faith trembled. "Kojo i-i-it's h-her."Faith stuttered. Suddenly terrifed. Her mother was, huge, dangerous, terrifying.

Kojo was wide-eyed in alarm. The fae was huge to say the least. She was bigger then Ronin and that was saying something considering the brute was nearly twice as big as Kojo. Compared to most brutes, Kojo was on the small side. Compared to this fae, he was a pup. Kojo stepped forward to stand beside his mate, holding his head high and letting out his own low growl. His growl could be considered either fear or authority depending on how you felt like looking at it. On the inside he was trembling with fear. This fae was dangerous, barely a wolf from the look and sound of her.

Shadow Walker became completely visible now. The femme smirked down at Kojo and Faith. A dark, icy chuckle erupting from her maw. "Kojo, kojo, kojo. Calm your nerves my son. You have nothing to fear from me. Nor do you Faith. My anger and lust are for two wolves, and two wolves only." Shadow Walker smirked evily. Her icy blue eyes turning from her daughter to her daughters mate. "I see Ronin got my size. Though he was'nt very big at all." She commented. Looking at her daughter.
Faith trembled a bit. Then rose to her full height and looked her mother straight in the eye. "Hello mother, it's good to finally see you."There was fear in Faith's voice. But the fea tried to keep her cool.

The growl died from Kojo's throat though he was still a bit wary. The red-gold brute stood tall beside his mate, glaring toward Shadow Walker, sizing up the fae. Kojo saw many family resemblances linking the femme to Fate, Hope and Ronin but oddly....not many to Faith. Kojo was momentarily curious of Faith's other half. While her family consisted of dark wolves, even one of her daughters born smoky black, Faith was pure ivory and smaller, much smaller then her dam. Kojo's fur brushed Faith's and he cast a slight smile to his mate. She had wanted to do this but she wasn't alone.

Faith smiled at her mate for a moment. Before returning her gaze to her mother. Faith cleared her throat. Then finally got up the courage to speak again. "Shadow Walker. I know that you are my mother. I can see you in Fate, your eyes and ears and paws are similar. Ronin, the size and anger. Hope, the wisdom and sly nature. Even in Destiny and Nuka. The size, the wisdom, the minds. So similar. Yet, me. What similarities do we share. We have the same eyes. Actually nto even that. Mine are softer and sky blue. Unlike your dark icy ones." Faith looked her mother straight in the eye. "I know Rane is father to Hope,Fate and Ronin. It's obvious. But I have no similarities with him.So, mother, who pray tell is my father?"
Shadow Walker glared down at her daughter. "Damn you Faith. You always had the courage and stamina of your father. Not even when you were afraid would you stop and turn back. That's how you got here.Unlike Ronin and Fate you did'nt let ambition become part of you. You never shared Hope's want to be alone. You, you were different. Because you had a different father. I did'nt think you'd ever figure it out."Shadow Walker glanced to Kojo."It's unusual for one litter to have two fathers. Does'nt happen very often if at all. Myself and Destiny are the only two wolves I know to ever encounter such a thing."
