"I also scared that strangers meal away as well so it was only right to find it again." [/i] She pointed out, watching him as he circled. "And what do you mean? I haven't seen your bad side? You have a bad side?" [/i] She stood, chuckling slightly. She watched him still as he circled her, and she said abruptly "What? Were you a vulture in another life or something? Geez...I'm not dead." [/i] She was only half serious, a chuckle slipping into the air slightly. Still...Why is he circling me?
A twang of uneasiness hit her, but it faded away.

“Everyone has a bad side, m’dear. I just happen to know how to hide mine extremely well.”[/font] His fangs glistened in a mischievous grin. “Now then, vulture? That’s funny… and quite possible. Because you look undeniably delicious.”[/font]
He suddenly pounced, a playful laugh rolling from his throat as he soared at her flank.
“Not that I think you look dead, o' course. But you're just too good to pass up.”[/font]

She gasped as he hit his target, and she was pushed to the ground, and he was on top. "Oh, darn, look how the tables have turned. At least I'm pinned to the ground, and not in shallow water."[/i] She teased slightly, glancing up at him. He looked different from this angle. She wasn't used to being on bottom..wait. She hadn't said that out loud, did she? He could take that so many different ways. She wasn't paying attention..so had she? She watched him for any traces of laughter in his eyes, or vocally. She just wasn't sure if she would be able to catch it.

“Yes, and now you’re mine.”[/font] Centering his gaze on the figure below, he swished his tail in a lazy wag. “And trust me, you don’t want to be in the water. I know from experience.”[/font]
Thoughtfully raising his vision, he focused his emerald pools on the distant horizon, the stone peaks rising just beyond the tips of pines. I almost forgot about heading to the mountains; I should probably get moving. Still, I like this girl. How could I just leave her behind?
“So, Miss Joker, it seems you’re tempting me to visit these lands more often. Tell me, do you like this pack?”[/font]

She stared up at him and sighed gently. "I dunno...I don't feel like I belong here. I don't feel like...I'm need here, yano?" [/i] She said, watching him for a moment. Another sigh slipped from her, and she closed her eyes. She opened her eyes once more to eye him, and the suddenly said "Why? If you don't mind me asking."[/i]

“Really, that’s interesting,”[/font] he noted, lightly shifting his weight. Because I’d like to take you away with me. Well, he almost said that, although he managed to restrain himself. He was a strictly noncommittal wolf, in any case, so it was probably best that he didn’t. Although this girl seems worth coming back for.
“Well, I was just wondering. I’ve always traveled my whole life myself, so I always marveled at the appeal of sedentary living. From the sounds of it, maybe you’re a bit less pack-minded as well.”[/font]

She watched him for a moment, and then nodded her head. "Yes, perhaps I'm not...After all, all I do for this pack is provide a good laugh." [/i] She mused, but wasn't really sure where he was going with this. Her blue eyes watched him for a moment, and then she said "It does sound like I am a bit less pack minded. Can't seem to keep myself focused...yano. In pack life. I'm always wandering off, and I usually don't return for a significant amount of days." [/i]
She shifted slightly underneath him, but not because she was uncomfortable. Just...trying to find a more comfy position.

A pleased grin tugged at his lips. “Well, if you want, I can always drop by more often. Maybe sometime I can give you a little tour around rogue territories on one of your outings; you know, give you a taste of both worlds.”[/font] He paused, feeling her shift beneath him. Almost immediately, he stepped off of her, laughing almost nervously… yet not quite nervous. “Oops, heh… I didn’t mean to be squishing you for so long there.”[/font]

She rolled to her feet, and shook her canvas out. She blinked a few times, and said "That sounds like an idea. I'd like that, actually." [/i] She said, nodding her crown. She sat back on her haunches, watching him for a few moments before speaking again."And don't worry about it. I'm sure that wasn't really compared to anything when I had you pinned in the water." [/i] She grinned. She had an odd feeling he was getting ready to leave, and for some reason sadness begin to fill the pit of her stomach. She shook it off though, and smiled gently once again.

“Yeah, I felt the blood rushing to my head when you pinned me,”[/font] he chuckled, accompanying the sound with a wink. He glanced briefly towards the horizon, sighing as the heat of noon began to creep over their bodies. The sun was not yet high, but morning was gradually completing its cycle.
“Then excellent, sounds like a date.”[/font] He grinned, padding to stand a few feet away. “I am afraid, however, that I have a little meeting that I must attend, nearer the mountains. It has been a pleasure meeting you, Miss Joker.”[/font] He offered another small bow. “A great pleasure.”[/font]

Joker smiled slightly, and said "Now I can say that it's been a pleasure. Because it has." [/i] She offered him a bow as well, before turning around, and beginning to pad the opposite way.
