Serra took the cobwebs and applied them to Thite's worst wound without hesitation. SHe needed to sleep and she needed it soon. Patience was not her best quality. Dark eyes glared at Svel.
Thite tensed up.Sunblaze had come back. Something told him she had taken Svel's closness to him the wrong way. He wanted to get up and go after him but his body was much too tired and worn.He could only whine as she left again.
Svel felt sadness radiate from Thite as the fae left."Is she your mate?"Svel whispered the words in Thite's aud. But by his reactions she already knew that is not his mate then definetaly his love. Quite easily she rose to her paws.Swift as anything she had delicately moved away from Thite and Serra. Her form emerging into the icy cold darkness of the outside. Pools found the golden fae easily and swiftly. Svel would have spoken.Instead she waited. The fae would have heard her paw steps as she had purprosely made them loud enough to be heard.

Sunblaze heard the fae's approach but didn't pay any heed. The family scent between the two was faded but still there. Sunblaze, being Sunblaze, tried to stay out of the way of things like that. Her family bonds were tough enough, she didn't need to be tangled up in Thite's. "I'm going to hunt" Sunblaze barked, rising to her paws.

Svel paused. "Do you mind if I join you?Something tells me Thite wants alone time.I have not eaten for a while either.A meal would be nice." It was only partly a lie. She had eaten early yesterday morning. Before setting out to find Thite. Destinian Pack was large, she knew very well that no one would notice her missing until tomorrow or the day after. Still, she was somewhat hungry and Thite needed to rest. The other fae could use sleep too. The ebony one looked exhausted. Svel's mystical blue eyes took Sunblaze in. Svel was older than the other fae. Yet, she had never felt loved. Sunblaze was lucky to have Thite.
Serra padded away to the far side of the den. Settling herself down she drifted immediately off into a sound sleep.
Thite too began to doze. The exhaustion gripping his body like claws pulling him down.

"Whatever you'd like" Sunblaze barked, shrugging. Taking a running jump, Sunblaze leapt into the Shanti River, swimming to the otherside and leaping onto the bank. Water streamed behind her and flared from her fur as she shook and set off toward the woodland. Sunblaze would hunt alone whether or not Svel was there or not. Born and raised a loner, Sunblaze didn't know how to hunt as a team and she wouldn't bother keeping an eye on Svel.

Svel allowed a slight smile to crest her maw. The femme padded towards the river. With one toss of her head she took it in. The current was stronger here, the water deeper, and farther downstream it would be narrow enought to leap across. Paws took her along the riverbank. Not slightly bothered by the mud that sucked at her paws. Svel paused again. taking in the river with soft blue pools. The fae padded away from it slightly. Then turning on her heel ran straight at it. Leaping into the air at the last second. Form flew over the water and made a perfect landing on the other side. Svel dipped each paw into the water.Cleaning them. Quickly she dried them. If they were cold they would become numb and she did not want that. Finally the femme padded into the more wooded forest. Weaving silently through the tree trunks.

Sunblaze's muscles rippled smoothly under her russet coat, the dim gloom and rain darkening her coat to deep red, golden undertones darkened and nearly forgotten. By now her paws had turned brown but Sunblaze wasn't bothered. Mud, blood, none of it bothered her. Her eyes cast upon the forest around her, towering trees guarding their home, roots holding them fast, leaves gone til spring. The quiet was inturrupted by the soft sound of clove hooves upon the mud. Sun breathed in and was rewarded with the tempting scent of a doe. Smiling to herself, Sunblaze started tracking. It wasn't long before she spotted her quary. It was walking slowly along a narrow track.
Muscles bunched and the red femmora shot forward. The deer took flight, small hooves leaving fine prints upon the water-softened ground. Sunblaze chased after it, running full pelt with ease. Dodging the sharp hind daggers, Sunblaze leapt. Her fangs sank into the hunch of the deer, her weight making its hind legs buckle. Caught off guard the deer went down. Sunblaze let go of its hunch and lunged, tearing the skin at its neck. The deer was dead.

Svel's soft blue pools caught sight of tracks in the earth. Crouching low she cared to follow them. No sound was made as the femme made her way along the forest floor.Silvery paws leaving barely noticeable tracks in the soft ground. The tracks ended here. Svel paused long enough to scent the air. Switching directions she continued to track her un-suspecting prey. Auds tilted for the sounds of creatures approaching or possibly even stalking her.The femme ceased movement of her limbs.
Standing like a statue Svel took in the small deer. A young buck by the look of the antlers upon his crown. He was young, but the scent's of other deer were fresh here too. Does, fawns and another buck. This kill must be made quickly and carefully. It was not wise to attack a group of deer.Svel determined the distance between herself and the buck.Much too far. Svel waited.
Finally the buck had un-knowingly wandered toward it's death. Now it stood just paw steps from her. Un aware of her hidden presence. Silently Svel lept upward.Slamming all her weight onto her prey. The buck would have bolted, but it was already falling down. Fangs glistened with crimson as she made the death bite.

Fed now, Sunblaze padded back to the Shanti River. Standing on a higher part of the embankment, she leapt off. Already wet and cold, the icy water did nothing more then make her a little numb. Swimming to the other side, Sunblaze padded up the bank and shook out her fur once more before padding back toward the badger sett. Sunblaze had lost track Svel and didn't even pretend to care. Instead, she laid down outside the entrance of the den, head resting on her paws.

Svel began to gnaw on the buck. Ripping flesh apart and eating it. The sound of a low snarl rose in her auds. Soft mythical pools looked upward to see a scrawy femme whose pelt hung loosly from her bones. The femme was obviously starving. Svel rose and backed away. Dipping her head. "What is mine, is yours. You may have the rest." Svel cleaned the blood from her maw. Watching for a moment as the femme slunk forward and began to ravenously rip at the carcass. She backed away until the femme and her kill were both out of sight. Turning Svel padded back towards the badger den. The heavy rain had become more of a light drizzle by now.
Thite flicked one aud as he heard a wolf reapproaching. Scent told him it was Sunblaze. Auds told him she had not entered the den.

Sunblaze remained outisde of the badger sett, letting the rain continue to pelt her icy form. Her fur had turned dark auburn, almost brown. Sunblaze's delicate paws were brown with mud, most of her splattered as well because of her running. Honey eyes burned the gloom of the rain, gazing at nothing in particular as her thoughts drifted.

Svel padded along the river bank.Mud sucking at her paws as she went. Rain slicking her silvery pelt to a darker soot grey. Mud coating her paws and turning them into a deep brown. Soft blue pools caught sight of Sunblaze. Svel did not plan on returning to Thite yet. Instead she continued downstream. Following some hidden instinct.
Thite finally awoke completely. Some of his energy restored by now. The brute stiffly rose to his paws.No Sunblaze.Serra still slept soundly on the other side of the badger den though. Giving his pelt a quick shake to remove some of the dirt Thite made sure all his limbs still worked. They did. He glanced at the wound. Finally the brute began to pad silently towards the den entrance. Exiting it he saw Sunblaze.Thite paused. She seemed to be thinking about something.

Some hours after falling into her silent thought, Sunblaze heard Thite approaching. As usual at his approach her heart fluttered like some over-excited butterfly but she didn't move. Instead, Sunblaze flicked her ear and spoke. "You probably shouldn't be out in the rain Thite, not after half freezing in that river." Her lyrics still held the same affectionate undertone that was reserved only for Thite. "Svel is lurking about somewhere in the woodland." The whole time she spoke, Sun's eyes neither shifted nor looked away from the rock she was staring at.

Thite padded through the rain and nuzzled her neck lovingly. "So?If Svel want's to talk to her brother she can come and talk to him. I'm not going looking for her." Snowy pelt turned a slightly darker shade by the rain. The cobwebs still holding fast to his wound from earlier. "Is something wrong?" She seemed distant for some reason.

Sunblaze blinked. "What? Oh, I don't know" Sunblaze admitted. "I don't know what's gotten into me." Sunblaze turned her head and nuzzled Thite's neck. It was a lie. It was something Sunblaze had been thinking about for a while but she would have to put it aside for now. When she was with Thite he could easily tell what was wrong and would pry until he found an answer.

Thite sighed. Touching his muzzle to her's. "Your lieing Sunblaze. I can tell. Your trying not too. What's wrong?Somethings bothering you.You know you can tell me anything." The rain did'nt really bother him that much. He could handle it. Sunblaze's warmth was enough anyway. Her being was all he could ever need. She was his everything. Her voice like a beautiful wolfsong. Her eyes like gems with hidden secrets. He didn't know everything. Most certainly he did not. He didn't always pry. Sometime he left her with her secrets.not now, however.
